-Tuning is allowed except for the engine. The engine must remain stock. That also means no Turbos.

Just to clarify....Turbos cannot be added to the engine but turbo cars are allowed?

I think the engine must have between 300 to 600 HP in stock version. You can put 800 HP in your Skyline, it doesn't really matter since the stock version is around 300 HP.

Which is exactly my point. Doesn't matter how much HP the car you are using for your pictures has, as long as it starts out as a stock 300 - 600 HP car. What you do under the hood is irrelevant. So you could in essence take a photo of a 1000 HP monster and nobody would ever know. As long as you didn't modify anything other than the wheels, tires and add a wing, there's no visual difference between a road going 300 HP Skyline and a road going 1000 HP Skyline. (Exaggarating to make a point)

some cars come stock w/ turbos.. aftermarket turbos is what he's saying isn't allowed.. on that note, here is my FINAL ENTRY; subject to change:

The point is, he only wants cars that have between 300 and 600hp stock. No 600+hp cars are allowed, and no under 300hp cars are allowed, even if they have engine upgrades to bump them over the 300 mark. Of course you can have engine mods in, as long as your car fell between 300hp and 600hp in stock form. Nobody could tell if you had more horsepower anyway.

Final entry:

Ah crap. My entry for the last comp that didn't even make it to the top 20 would have been much better for this one. It's OK. I don't quite think we'll run out of photo possibilities...

There are some sweet photos up there. 👍

@Slick6
If you have any spare time could you change the Cars section to look like this:
-Road Cars Only
-All cars must have between 300 and 600 BHP.
-Tuning is allowed except for the engine. The engine must remain stock. That also means no Turbos.
-Visual tuning allowed ( Spoilers, Rims )
Thx for the late changes. My photos are done already and my car is fully moded with 592CV. 👎

Oh drat. I have a shot from these places I reaslly like using the cusco, but I leant my game to my cousin, and I was really looking forwards to this one. Let me paste it anyway, but it wont be an entry.

Look, this is really easy. Some of you are overcomplicating this.

All i want is for cars to be between 300-600 BHP. That's it. I may have worded what i wanted in the wrong way but this is what i was trying to achieve.

The car(s) in the photo has to have atleast 300 BHP in it's stock form and have a maximum of 600 BHP in stock form. Now if you want to tune a 300 BHP car to have 500BHP then by all means do, but i don't want cars that have less than 300 and over 600 BHP.

Hmm... sorry but I am afraid that that's still potentially misinterpretable.
May I take the liberty and have a go myself.

The actual BHP of your car when you take the photo is irrelevant (BHP doesn't show on a photo anyway, duh). The purpose of the BHP restriction is to restrict the elligible cars. So, we can only use cars that have between 300 - 600 BHP in their stock form (when purchased or won). The tuning you do afterwards is irrelevant. Hence, a car with less than 300 BHP stock is not elligible, even if you tune it up to 300+
Clear...?
I'm not sure about the aftermarket tuners though...

That's kinda what I was driving at. It doesn't matter what the HP rating is when you take the picture, the car just has to start out at between 300 - 600 HP. So why bother with making turbos legal or illegal and complicate things? So if I'm reading things right, the 300 - 600 HP rule includes cars that are STOCK with turbos, correct? It doesn't matter if a turbo was added as a mod or not, right? That's the only confusion that I can see by adding the turbo bit into the rules.

It's all pretty much irrelevant since the turbo bit hasn't been added into the rules at the beginning of this thread anyway.

Are the cars from Tuner Village legal or not? There are some cars in there that are under 300 HP from the "dealers" but have plenty more added to them by the various tuners.

There is no limit on final entry size, but a smaller picture is usually trying to hide something and may detour the chooser from selecting it. ;) It seems fine to me though.

It just looks very blurry larger. But it looks artistic blurry when it's kind of far away. Like a painting...

I haven't chosen my final entry yet... it might not even be one of these. This car sounds glorious, that's for sure :dopey:

Hehe Div, I think You an dI saw Midnight Club at around the same time, purchased a 300C and took it cruising for the night :P I haven't uploaded my pic yet, I do have different rims than you though..

Final Entry
This is my first entry into any photomode comp. :)

I hope it's good :nervous:

Why did you blow it up so huge? It would take like two monitors to see that entire pic with pixels at 100%. You may think about croping that down a bit.

it doesn't look like combination of couple photos
I think SA MAN enlarged the original image
if it was combined by few photos, you can see those polygon edges clearly

This image is made with 3 smaller ones :

Do you see any difference? The central part of this big picture goes from very left and very right of the rear wing. Very left of the wing is part of the central picture AND of the left picture. Same for the right part or the wing. I don't see any cut.

Final Entry
sorry, I forgot to resize it. oops!
And no it is not multiple images :).

I hope that's better :nervous:
How do you take a picture that was so big? Maximum size in-game is 1280*960 and you got a picture of 1900*1400 and more! How?
