I always wanted to race in HK b/c i grew up there, but after racing there, i dislike it cuz of the sharp turns. Later when i got my Civic Type R, i found it pretty fun because of the fact that it is FF and i can power slide through the corner and sometimes drift through it even though it has a very slow acceleration, it is actually easier to drive a underpower FF than a high power 4wd or rwd.

Drift and power slide with a FF car??? Huh???

im not feelin Fuji 2005 n the 2005 GT versions the rest i like but those 2 tracks i cant get the rythmn

I hate:
La sarthe: it's stupid and damn big, the straight is boring
Seoul: WTF is this? the worst track in any racing game in history
Hong Kong: the worst track ever in GTs(althougt i'm from HK)
Las Vegas: what's the point of that useless 0-400??

I love:
Suzuka: my favorite, i just love it
Nurburgring: it's fun to drive around
All the tracks in the old GTs: like Grand Valley, Deep Forest, Special Stage 5.....

Don't Like
Tsukuba
Suzuka (except full circuit)
Twin Motegi (except full circuit)
Infineon Sports Car Course
El Capitan Reverse
All Driving Park Courses

Like
Everything else
No, really. :dopey:

Really not too keen on Suzuka esepcially in slower cars, add Tsukuba, Motegi (all versions)! and Fuji 2005 with the daft run offs that turn it into like driving on the interstate! HKG isn't a fun one IMO (thanks for reminding me! :)) + Laguna Seca

Love:
Nurburgring
Grand Valley Speedway
El Capitan
Circuit la Sarthe (although the Mulsanne straight is daft unless in something quick)

The only track I can't stand is Hong Kong. Its horribly designed and combined with the AI racing there is hell.

I also don't like the snow rallies. They're horrible as well.

Hi. Figured I'd say a thing or two.

In my opinion, and mine alone, there is no such thing to me as a worst track. There are tracks that can be annoying, but every circut takes time to learn like every other. Some have things that appeal to people more than others. It could also be a case of being used to certain parts and what could be a track most would hate is one that a person would test their cars our try new techniques on.

Nurburgring (and if I miss-spell that, sorry), is by far the best track, very few tracks in the world come even close, including Sebring, Le-Mans, Daytona (the road version, during the 24hr of Daytona), Spa, Montie Carlo, etc, it's an massive, expansive nightmare that you want to go thru in the end again, and again, and again, and again. It's a track that can teach a lot and help one to an extent.

Every track has a rythim, what I would find annoying is just a case of being as of yet used to a track. I wish they had brought back Rome since I found that intresting, even though I'm sure it was hated because of it's many blind corners. Infenion is also a bit of an annoyane, ironic since I've seen that track at least in 3 IRL GT races, I just have to get used to both versions, and then I'll be fast around that.

Suzuka is a top favorite for me, I saw it and played it a lot in F1 games, so I'm very familar with the East and Main sections. Hell, I played the east section a lot in NASCAR 98, so I know it rather well, and for me that's my test track for most cars. I'm crazy to say this but I feel like the Stig from Top gear when I go around on that track, it's annoying and I can see why, but I've taken the time to learn some rythimto it and I'm decent if not quick. It's a fun track, same for El Capitan, and nearly every single one.

It's down to what one wants, and for me I just want to try and have familiarity with every single track, regardless if I do feel I want to stay away from a few. But the sooner I get use to them, the less I feel like not wanting to go on.

This is all just me though, and it's opinion. Dunno what else to say.

Till later.

I like Hong Kong, really, I do. I don't like Tokyo R246 (??). Don't like Suzuka, Apricot Hill, Deep Forest, actually, I don't like most city tracks. I miss the complex blabla form GT3

What is the worst track in GT4? With 50 tracks, there are a couple bad apples in there. So, name the tracks that you know and loathe.

My list:

5th place: New York. By the time you see the turns at the end of the long straights, you're already toast.

4th place: Fuji Speedway 90's. Bad track. Bad track. Put those chicanes down.

3rd place: Test Course. Wake me up in ten minutes.

2nd olace: Gymkhana Course. Just plain stupid. The Coffee Breaks are a waste of time.

And the winner is....
Citta d'Aria. AAAAARRRRGGGHHHH! This track is IMPOSSIBLE to get around without sanding your car on the walls. The road is impossibly narrow, the turns are laid out in precisely the right way to send you into the wall, and it's just no fun to drive on.

I Learned to like citta di aria by doing the licences on it but the worst is chamonix. I love rally but this track is just hairpins taken in 1st gear.

I dont think any tracks are bad. Just the test course. I like the breaks, especially the Autocross one with the 350Z. Polyphony needs to put more of stuff like that in GT5

3rd Place : Motegi Super Speedway- Boring as ****

2nd Place: Test Track : Even more boring, unless you are testing max speeds that is!

1st Place : Motorland. What's the point?

Polyphony should have put a touge course. I also have to admit that The Super Speedway and Test Track are useless. Motorland is good for people who are just started playing racing sim games. I like the Motorland in GT2 more. You could drift the whole thing.

Well... once the thread is back from the dead and the subject is back on track, my opinion is: Opera Paris just sucks 👎 , unless you are driving a VW Beetle (or something slower  ). Somebody said it here somewhere, the rally (dirt) and snow tracks are bad, but not their fault, the physics engine for this kind of race is screwed up :nervous: . There is one also, can't remember the name right now, one with a left, right, tunnel right at the beginning that is just screwd, too. All the other tracks are fine for me... I just miss that Rome track from GT3 :)

And, for the Grand Finalle... I just don't like Nurburgring. Too damn long, extremelly diffcult to race with a fast car. Takes all the entertainment away... :dunce:

I don't get it with all these Nurburgring haters. The Ring is one of the most exhilarating tracks in the game. I was like :dopey: the whole way. Just because you can't drive doesn't mean the track sucks. (Besides, the turns are nowhere near as bad as those on Motegi or Monaco)

I hate the Test Course because it's so boring. It actualy makes me sleep sometimes. Hong Kong is bad and the runners up are the Grand Valley Speedway and the Opera Paris.

Woolie Wool

Not that I hate it, I just don't like it (I hate Opera Paris most :) ). The thing about nurb for me is that it is too long 👎 and therefore too diffcult to remember all the turns (or most of them). And Monaco turns are not bad at all... :yuck: at least you can see them and break before you go airborne or "lawnmower man" ;)
