GT4 track you hate most

I don't really know why but my bro seems to hate tahiti maze... :shrugs: I like all the tracks, no matter how small or big they are, good driving practice :D

I pretty much hate all the little city tracks(Hong Kong, New York, Seoul, Paris, etc.). Right angle turns are no fun, I like courses with some speed in them, a la Grand Valley, Nürburgring, Sarthe, Apricot Hill, Suzuka, etc. The little rally street tracks are fun too, just gotta drive the right car, no LMPs there for me.
Lates.

Fuji Speedway 2005 GT.. Too much tarmac which sometimes confuses me as to where the racing line is..

Too true... also, it doesn't penalize you enough for going off the racing line... You can run fifty meters wide and still be back in the race, with merely a few tenths lost.

I kinda hate some of the City tracks, too... Specifically New York, Seoul, and the Opera... Nice looks, but they should take a cue from Clubman and Seattle... more variety and length! New York and Seoul look like they were designed as an afterthought. HK, I can dig... it's difficult. :D

I hate Fuji Speedway 2005 GT. The mass of black in front of you makes it hard to tell where the corners are. I always mess up on this track.

Fuji 2005 ist one of the most challenging tracks in GT4!
Defining your own racing line with individual apexes is - i think so - one aim of Fuji05!
Once you get real fast through the blind curves, you'll be more satisfied than passing the Nür in under 6'xx!
And don't forget: Spa is famous for blind curves too, so give it a chance!

Hong Kong is one of my much hated tracks. I find it way too narrow, and just plain confusing :guilty:

I cannot do it 'at all', in reverse mode (In a Race car). :ouch:

Seoul I dislike the most (saying that I hate it would be too much...). It's dull, too wide and the straights are too long. :yuck:

I do like Opera Paris however! It has got some tricky bumps, especially the one following the back straight, at around 100 meters before the 90 degree right hander.

When I first started I hated Opera and Hong Kong. Now that I've played quite a bit and ran those tracks many times they have become two of my favorites.

Me...I like all the tracks. They all offer different strategies and technics. It seems that the majority hate the Hong Kong track; I find this track to be really fun and hard to master. Going arround that track in a really fast cars without making any errors is enjoyable...

Anyways...if I had to pick my least favorite track, I would have to say..........hong kong...lol...no no, just kidding...

seriously...maybe...the test course is pretty boring when lots of laps are required...but this track is good for determining high speeds...

Tokyo...hated it in all the other Gts, no reason GT4 should be different.

Seriously, it is even worst now compared to all the amazing circuits there are to drive.

Oops. let me retract. I said I hated Opera... I actually like it! I only hate Seoul and New York, merely because they aren't imaginative enough.

I'm also, strangely, disappointed in the "new" Midfield. They made it too damn wide and easy!

Dislike:
Hong Kong
FUJI 2005 GT (The 80's one is the best)
Motorland Short Oval (WTF!?)
Seoul (Very boring)
New York (They should have used Long Beach, but i might be alone on this one)
Circuit de la Sarthe(With Chicanes)
Ice Arena
Grand Valley Speedway
Trial Mountain(The old narrower was better)
Costa Di Almafi
MidField Raceway (i agree with niky)

LIKE!:
The Nurburgring
Citta d'Aria (Especially with a fast car, very challenging!-my fav of entire game!)
Fuji 80's (They killed this track in '05)
Opera Paris(Day time track feels like an actual street course to me)
Autumn Ring (Especially the leaf covered chicane)
Circuit de la Sarthe(Without Chicanes)
High Speed Ring(Reminds me of the good'ol days of GT1 & GT2)
Grand Valley East Section
El Capitan(Love it both ways)
Swiss Alps
Suzuka Circuit(I can't wait until I unlock the F1's)
Infineon Raceway(I did hate it, now I like it after i got gold with the Audi R8)
Cote d'Azur(Again, cant wait till I get the F1's)
Tokyo Route 246
Deep Forest Raceway

well thats my choices...the rest of the tracks are fine or are like whatevers...

Nurburgring. :yuck: *bracing myself* wtf? it is not fun to drive on a track that long! gah!

Sacrilege! Thou shalt not take the name of the ring in vain!

Nobody bashes the ring on this site! NOBODY!!!!! :nervous: :nervous: :nervous:

I'm gonna burst a few bubbles here, but the Ring is way over rated... I can't stand it... 20km around, DAMN... I thought I'd love it at first, but after many laps around... YUK

Don't get all the fuss about Hong Kong either, It's a short technical track that requires almost every driving skill needed to challenge, perhaps that's why so many people hate it, hehe, lack of skill??? lol j/k

My other hated track is that little italian track where you do the lap run in the Alfa Junior (called something else in the game) That one that goes through the buildings and is like 1 car length in some places... grrr, what a crappy track..

lol

The 'Ring isn't exactly overrated; it's just not like a pilgimage to Mecca or something. In fact, the 'Ring has only reached a truly huge audience of slavishly devoted fans in the last decade or so. It's always had a solid place in motoring history, but it's only reached mythic proportions since the advent of the internet.

I personally like it because it's the only place that you can approximate a free, open country drive in GT4.

Nurburgring. *bracing myself* wtf? it is not fun to drive on a track that long! gah

I saw the topic and was just going to postthe same as you :), i cant stand the track, too long and dull, at every juncture ive tried to avoid it. it reminds me of the god awfull complex string rubbish in GT3. on a lighter note it dose test if your car is worthy of been driven and shows up the handeling problems better than other tracks, but i still hate it.

And you like HK? I love "that Italian track" (Citta d' Aria).... I hate racing on it, though! :dopey:

Exactly, the 'ring and a race car, ergh... the 'ring and Datsun 510, an Alpine, or (insert a slow crappy car here), and it feels like I'm driving around the hills above my town. It's heaven.

Another good point. Some cars feel spectacular on track, set up stiff as rocks and low as skateboards, but go all to pieces on the 'ring. That's probably why people hate it, it makes their favorite cars look like ****. I hated it the first couple of times, but after taking the time to truly learn it, it's grown on me.
