GT4 track you hate most

I've been racing Suzuka since F1 on the 486x, and I think that's the point. It's one of the most technical tracks in modern racing. Good challenge, but not much fun if you're playing around.

Seoul seemed to serve no purpose at all in the game. The scenery reminds me of the Tokyo track and the track itself is way too short. I kind of like that right to left turn after the 90 degree right, but that doesnt make up for how bad the track sucks

My son has a "trick" for the 90's Fuji, the one with the small curve right in the middle of the big sweeping curve before the main straight. His trick? He just continues on, through the grass, all the way to where the track continues.

:D

Hmm, tricky...

Well i am in limbo over the Ring - love driving it, but i hate the bumpy bits, especially in racing, you can be leading, and then one bounce and bang - in the grass and losign places. Maybe if i spent my whole life in front of my PS2 i might learn to love it more....
On a sperate note, lynching ppl and saying "oh u obviously h8 driving then, ricer boy" jst because they dnt like the 'Ring is pretty patronising and offensive.

Top 5 HATED tracks for me are:-

1) Autumn ring MINi - GRR, enough already! Why do you have to do it in races for lowe-pwered cars when the curves are so power-sapping anyway?

2) Most of the Montegi tracks - far too long and yawnsome for my liking.

3) Tsukuba:- Although it's good for testing a car's handling, having to do it so ofen and its lack of prettiness has made it so, so boring!

4) Seoul:- YAWN. Same goes for New York.

5) Monaco:_ I like the fact that its realistic, but the turns are such a pain in the ass!

Top 5 tracks i love the most:-

1) Costa Di Amalfi:- know this course like the back of my hand now, great high-speed turns and drifting hairpins.

2) Le Mans:- Long, challenging, and a blast for speed:- Got a Citroen Xantia V6 to do 170mph here once!

3) El Capitan:- Again, a v.pretty track, and i am getting veyr good at turing in fast laps here in all kinds of cars.

4) Nordschleife:- I have to say, altho it's frustrating, annoying, a bit too long and too bumpy, it's fab 2 drive on, love the scenery and the turns are so rewarding to get right. However, racing on it is still a pain in the ass, probs becoz im a **** driver. I need to drive here more.

5) Laguna Seca:- Again, tricky at first, but i have masterd it now, and can even get the notorious corkscrew right.

Fuji 05 is still my most hated track. Fortunately you don't use it too often. Otherwise, I love all of the World Tracks with the possible exceptions of the Motegi and Suzuka short tracks.

Also, where's the 'random course' races from GT2 gone? They were good because no two races would (obviously) be the same ...

That's because it's a way to try to get you to understand how to corner without losing too much speed.

Hmm well at the risk of getting flamed I'll say my least favourites are: Suzuka - very technical, too twisty and complicated for my liking, I've been racing it on various games for years so you'd think I'd gotten the hang of it by now, but no. Nurburgring - for similar reasons and too long. Ok, I probably need more practise and I'll probably end up loving it like everyone else but for now...no. Tokyo R246 or whatever it's called I've driven it since GT3 and can never quite master it, one corner in particular always catches me out. Probably my most hated track though is Monaco, its too narrow so its almost impossible to overtake, it twists like mad and the buildings are too distracting: I can never seem to find a clean line to take through any of the corners. Ugh. Even in GT3 where theres that licence test in the GT-One despite practising forever and a day could never manage better than a bronze. Oh well.

Tracks I like: Tsukuba, Infineon Raceway, New York even though I'm not great at it, Special Stage route 5, Apricot Hill, Autumn Ring mini, in fact most of the original tracks (takes me a good while to learn the new ones) and yes, I actually like Hong Kong. A lot. Oh, and Luguna Seca I love, it's probably my fave track.

Ah, once you do "master" those tracks though (Nurburgring and Suzuka... Tokyo isn't anything special, but it is pretty cool), you'll love them.. you should anyway

Yup...I think that's a +6 secs. to the time of your opponent if done at full speed...hehehe

I like most of the city tracks (except New York and Citta di Aria). They have lovely scenery, and the corners are more interesting than the runoff-pit adorned safety curves seen in many of the real tracks.

After today I must say, i really really don't like the 2005 Fuji.

That thing is just so... unsmooth to drive... I prefer tracks that are smooth to drive and feel natural. This is just... it is as if someone put some parts of a track in a mixer and put them together like they came out.

Seoul, Tsukuba, high-speed ring, George V Paris.

That's all that I don't like, because those are the only ones that give little satisfaction when you string a good lap together.

Test Course, boring.
I wouldn't really consider that a track. I think PD included this course way too many times in the game than what was necessary. It seems like they did anyway. Great for high speed racing and drafting techniques (I guess), but it shouldn't show up so much to actually RACE on.

I like every single track :sly:

The only ones that make me mad :ouch: are:

La Sarthe (I or II ) because it has very tricky corners that I hate :yuck: (I'm not talking about the chicanes)

and Nurburgring because when driving an uber-fast car it's almost impossible to overtake without going to the grass

P.S: this only aplies when I'm driving very fast cars (R92CP; 787B; Formula Gran Turismo; etc) with other cars I have no problem with these tracks

LEAST favorite???

hmmmmm........let me think about that......i think ill have to go with George Paris.......i love the scenery and love the city, but the streets they chose are way too damn tight to race on.......it is impossible to pass on it first because you can barely fit two cars side by side on most of it, and once you finally get up to passing speed to make your move, you have to slam hard on the brakes..............oh, and i do like it when its just me on the track :P

Dislike: Motegi, both Paris circuits, Suzuka (all - although I love this track in person), Fuji 2005 (what the hell).

I love all other tracks. Especially ice and rally tracks (not a rally fan though).

Hong Kong is a cool track. I love it.

I used to hate Infineon, but that was because I found it a little too difficult for my skill level. But now I love it after learning the correct line and the braking points for several cars.

I probably have El Capitan as favourite, then Nurburgring Nordschleife.

I miss one track from previous GTs. I'm having a mental blank right now... Special Stage Route 11 or something.

Oh my god i cant belive it
I hate nurburgring how can they expect u to do 24hours around the bloody thing no 1 can b bothered to do the track.

I also hate suzuka circuit(the whole thing)

Luv super speedway, high speed ring fuji 80s test course lol
