I also hate suzuka circuit(the whole thing)

Luv super speedway, high speed ring fuji 80s test course lol

No no no, you gotta love the 'Ring, it is INSANE. I bought the game BECAUSE of the ring.

What's the point of a circuit where you only turn left???? Rubbish.

Go back to NFS or Midnight Club and leave us alone.

I just figured it out. I'm a genius!

I love the Fuji 2005 GT track a lot. I'm mean, A LOT. I race on it all the time. I usually race against the JGTC 500 cars at the Japanes Hall All Japan GT Championship Race, or whatever it's called. I couldn't understand why so many of you hate it so much.

I noticed that so many of you hate the course, and I couldn't figure out why. All until now, that is. It has always been a fast and very fun course to race on. The AI can be passed at the several steep turns, which all go uphill. Awesome! The long straights give you the opportunity to draft, which really helps getting ahead of the AI cars. This truly is a fantastic course to race on, with a much lower HP car than the compition, which makes for close battle races. I've used stock JGTC 300 cars to race against the GT 500s, and won! Even the Honda HSC with 410 HP, rear wing and a racing drivetrain make for an thrilling victory against the JGTC 500 cars. Try it!

No, I don't think you're a bunch of whinnie retards who can't play GT4. I think you guys can't properly see the course while racing on it. You don't have 1080i activated and aren't racing with the aid of a HDTV set.

I recently played the game in my sons room on his 25 inch TV. It was horrible. I couldn't tell where I was going. The graphics were really bad. I still like the course, but admit openly, it wasn't as fun as with the HDTV and 1080i.

Another reason to buy a HDTV set now. Enjoying Fuji 2005 GT to the extent you should. I really hope PD understands that the reason why so many hate it is the difficulty seeing the course. I hope it makes a comeback in GT5. I really love this course!

Personally, I don't care if the Nurb makes into GT5. That course is so overrated, and isn't much fun with a controller.

I disagree. Why do you think it's overrated? Don't tempt the Green Hell Ghosts!!

In a sad way I find it funny how people are arguing over which track is better, it's like you're trying to convince them that their OPINION is wrong.

*sigh*

I have no clue why, but I hate Apricot Hill Raceway with a passion. I hate the downhill esses at the end. If I don't nail my line perfectly, I WILL slide through that area and spin out.

Citta Di Aria, or however you spell it. The worst track in Gran Turismo history. New York and Seoul aren't well liked either. Too boring. I love Suzuka. Where's Red Rock Valley Speedway when you need it.

Sorry i offended some of u im just sayin my oppinion its just like u sayin u hate hong kong but i luv it.

p.s hate both nfs and midnight club

I actually like Hong Kong  In fact, I don't think there's any track in GT4 that i really don't like for one reason or another.

I've played the hell out of GT since the GTdemo and here's my list:
DISLIKES:
For a reason I can't pinpoint, Grand Valley fills me with dread, I think because I must have raced thousands of laps there and it seems to get dull a little more than other tracks, although I must say since they changed it up a bit this time, it's less boring.

Seattle is cool, I like the angled turns, but I never have liked the way they lit the track, harsh on the eyes to me

I also dislike Midfield, it just doesn't have anything special about it except the sharp turn into the tunnel at the end. Plus it reminds me too much of a Apricot Hill ripoff, which I love.

At first I hated Hong Kong and George V, but that because I was born in the mountains and flat city tracks put me at a disadvantage. I had patience though, and once you find the line, they are really fun, especially with a AWD.

Also I don't enjoy Suzuka, although I respect it. I have to be honest, the reason I don't enjoy it is because I suck at it, I can pull a decent lap, but its one of the more technical tracks in the world, imo.

LIKES:

Monaco, just sexy, any once you master it, which takes a while, your untouchable against AI and your friends.

Trial Mountain- do I need a reason? THE Gran Turismo track. Pleads to be drifted.

Tsubuka- 2 words: rx7 oversteer

Laguna always keeps you on your toes

Special Stage! who remembers this being the Gran Turismo demo track? How could you hate it??

Infineon allows for a smooth flowing line, which is my best style.

And last , but def not least, Nordschleife. Gotta respect Deutsch engineering and design at it's finest.

That demo video with an orange NSX in it, am I right? A great track on its own, too.

i also like Infineon a lot, but for a very different reason: I use it for drifting :)

And yes, definitely not the least, the Nordschleife is an all-time masterpiece of track designing. I can't remember whose brainchild it is, but that "F1-track guru" Hermann Tilke is still far behind what comes to challenging race courses.

he did pretty well with turkey though. The Ring is the greatest track ever designed. I would love to go there, and hopdully I will soon :D

On topic, I think the Ice tracks are horrible, I jaust can't get a decent lap on them. I also really hate the oval, it's just so dull.

I have several:
1. Fuji Speedway 2005 GT: You still have the track sections from the other 17000 previous versions of the course leading every which dirction, and it is visually confusing where you have to point the damn car.

2. Citta di Aria: Too many protrudences and buildings that suddenly narrow the track. Nobody enjoys going from 126mph-0 on the final leg of the last lap; allowing the AI to fly by laughing at you as he takes the checkered flag 9 seconds later.

3. Tokyo: Almost every ****ing turn is 90 degrees or more.
There are a couple of others I don't care for, but these are the worst of the worst. And why DOES the game have 5 versions of Fuji Speedway?

As of Saturday night it's Midfield Reverse, that downhill stretch and pair of bends leading onto the start/finish straight is horrible. Not overly keen on it forwards either nowadays since they've changed it, yet I used it drive it a lot on GT2.

I can't say about GT3 (never really played it that often as I was late getting it), but in GT2 did the reverse version of Midfield get used very often? My recollection is no, but it's been a while since I last played it.

Im sorry but i have to say my most hated is Laguna Seca.. i havent read much of this post but im sure many will agree if you "mess up" a braking zone u get spanked for it big time by hittin the dirt!!!

It really annoys me!! although very realistic!

The full version of...yawn...Twin-Ring Motegi is my...yawn...least favorite circuit. No scenery, nothing to define one corner from another, too many similar 2nd-gear corners, and too smooth to have any character. You cant build up a rhythm on this track to save your life. Yawn.

I'd rather have the much-hated SSR11 from GT3/GT1 come back than race another moment at Motegi circuit.

The Paris circuits may be annoying, but at least that's a challenge to me.

Tsukuba is just a pointless circuit for anything other than kei cars. At least it has a half-gram of character compared to Motegi.

1) Autumn ring MINi - GRR, enough already! Why do you have to do it in races for lowe-pwered cars when the curves are so power-sapping anyway?

I quite like that track. Mainly because you can leap over the kerbs like there's no tomorrow -up :dopey: -and down :ouch: !!!

Speaking of all that - is anyone familiar with the Formula 1 Chinese track at Shanghai? I *really* wish that had been in GT4, it looks like another love/hate type of track.

Formula 1 Shanghai International Circuit

On that subject, i'd also love to see bathurst in GT5. I'm not sure if anyoue outside australia has even heard of it but it is the holy grail of aussie motorsport (an 1000km race). people have said "the only other track like it in the world is the 'ring". Does anyone have an opinion. If so, i'd like to know.

Don't worry, bathurst is well known all over the world, particularly to British motorsport fans, as a good number of British drivers have taken part in the 1,000km.

It a wonderful track and I love driving it in TOCA Race Driver 2 (called V8 Supercar race Driver 2 in Australia I think) and would also like to see it added to the GT stable of tracks. In fact long ago (before GT4's release) I added it to a wish-list of GT4 tracks, its a shame it did not make it, fingers crossed for GT5.

BTW I'm no one has done already, welcome to GTP.

As i mentioned in my First Post, My biggest dislike is Laguna Seca, as someone mentioned, misjudge one turn and it can all go bye bye.

Others that i "buckle up" for are Tokyo R256 (i think), SSR11, Suzuka (theres one turn that allways gets me!)

Likes? Trial Mountain, Grand Valley (East and Full), Tuskuba (little cars only), Apricot Hill, SSR5 and Nordschleife but i'm not very good at it.

Chaminox, snow, then pavement, then snow, then snow and pavement, when you have those transactions spin outs are easy and frustrating especialy when its 5 laps or so. It is a long corse and I hate it.

I'm glad you agree 👍

PERFECT BALANCE
DRAG STRIP why did they have to put two 1/4 mile tracks
the test course is enough.

do a comparison. Take a car to the test course and do the 400 meter. Then go to Las Vegas and do the strip. If I recall correctly, you will have different times.

Hmm... 400 meters vs 1,320 feet, right?

SSR5 - I just can't see well in the dark
Driving park - any version

I also noticed that it changes as you learn to drive the track. I used to hate Fuji 2005 but once I got the braking points right it's a blast.

Hong-Kong blows, I mean theres no sexy vibe in this track. Half the time you try to pass you makeout with a rail or the wall. Its too small and the road length is unbareable for me. Another is the El Capitan,...It has a vibe but when you go off the road its very annoying to ge tback on since there are huge sand pits. Thats just my 2 cents 👍
