I love how El Capitan can punish you if you lose concentration haha.

Nurburgring in a 900+ bhp car with no wing... Forget about any rollercoaster you've ever been on. :D

Apricot Hill, hands down.
Not the track, itself, perse, but how much better the Ai drives this one course... which would be nice, but it makes 200point races so much harder

I have raced every track at least once, but its not like i want to, so far i DON't like Hong Kong's Sharp Hairpin, at 1/2 to 3/4 of Nurbgring, Fuji 2005 & GT, Opera Paris, Grand Canyon, that first track in special conditions event and Infineon.

i disagree a lot on you all.
rennie, i disagree with all yours, el capitan is great, hong kong is fun, suzuka is fantastic, laguna is nice to drive, grand valley is brilliant, the changes to it are great.
the nurburgring is absolutely fantastic, love it.
my most disliked tracks are the following:
Tsukuba, i dont hate it i just dont like it.
seoul, way to short for a city track
fuji 90s
all the rallies and snow

I'm assuming your all Tarmac and no Off road.. "all rallies".. I bet it's because you're not good at it. Am I right?

Apricot Hill reverse. Love the normal, detest the reverse.

I find alot of the city courses challenging (Especially the Paris tracks first time round) but I don't hate them.

true I live for corners, the art of cornering is my specialty in Driving so city courses offer gains for me, but like water its a mistress she'll reward you if u treat her nicely, if not:grumpy: , YOU PAY!! and man do you pay with postion and time :ill:

My favorite tracks are TokyoR246 and Suzuka they are a gold standard to me and I use them as test track to compare my cars to each other. :)

The Ring or shall i say "Green HELL!!!!!!!"-Jackie Stuart(actual pro racer) is something I stand in Awwwwwwe in and each time I start a lap its nerve-racking with all the tiny bumps on the starights:nervous: , oh sure I have memorized the track but still:nervous: and I you make a mistake :ouch: your likely to pay it at high speed than at the turns with optimal speed.

And the George 5th Paris track is great for Kei cars:sly: thats how I fell in luv with the Suzuki Cappuccino (EA21R) its like a mini-Miata hehe

Well, I dislike any track I'm not good with, Suzuka, maybe another.

I absolutly despise the whole of Fuji 2005, the conversion is butchered. I often get lost, because the whole thing just looks BLEH.

Apparently I'm the 999,999th visitor. Second time i've been the 999,999th visitor on this site. Must be lucky.:P

Lol, I thought this site would have had at least ONE other person it between you and yourself:sly:

Oh, and I also realised I hate Grand Canyon, too long and I'm no good at it

Yeah I agree with there wit the Fuji tracks, its so wide you can barely make out the approaching turn and before you know it you, your on the grass, ironic really considering all that asphalt they've laid down and you end up on this thin strip of grass on the outside of the turn :boggled:

any track that is an oval or has more than one 90* turn. I hate 90* corners, they're just not fun you have to slow down too much :(

and any of the rally tracks. The rally tracks need to be fast, long corners, not this garbage they have now: hairpin, straight, hairpin, straight, hairpin, hairpin, straight...

The George Paris Track. There's no track I hate more than that one. I also dislike Midfield Raceway, I've gone around it too much.

Favorite tracks : the Nurb, Cote D'azur (Monaco), El Capitan, Suzuka, Tsukuba, Tokyo 246 and Opera Paris.

The first thing I said when I first played GT4 is : WHERE'S THE ROME CIRCUIT FROM GT3 ????

Loved that one.

Man you brought this thread out of the grave lol.

Anyway, my least favorite tracks are Paris, Costa Amalfi, Hong Kong, and New York. None of them have much room.

I don't hate any track....I'd have to say in GT4 I "strongly dislike" a couple though.

Tsukuba gets on my nerves because that track is used so much in GT4 :yuck: I just get sick of driving there. It seems every other event has to have a race at Tsukuba. I know in real-life, PD's headquarters is close to this track and they are able to visit there most frequently so maybe that's why it's in the game too much.

2nd choice would be Twin Ring Motegi. Again, I don't hate it...it's just a flat track with a boring background. Then again, I believe it is a testing track in real-life.

theres alot of poor tracks (the ring is NOT one of them)

suzuka is too long and boring.

not a big fan of laguna seca

If you dislike those, you cant drive them right.

I love all the real world tracks cause they post the biggest challenge.

Suzuka boring? Not a fan of the corkscrew? Wow those are two of the ten best tracks in the world.

The Nurb Ring... My most hated track, which is why I spend so much time on it. It challanges each and every one of us... I shall defeat it...

The only courses I don't really care for are the Special Conditions courses. As for the normal full tracks, I like them quite a lot. Certain courses like Hong Kong and Monaco really shine when driven with cars having less than 350bhp, whereas other courses like Sarthe 1/2 and Grand Valley absolutely ROCK!!1 with top-tier prototypes and high-level GT's.

I know...Christ...Suzuka is anything but boring. :scared: that track really has me on the edge of my seat every time.

I don't really like:

El Capitan-it bites me somewhere every lap, and that's not from lack of practice.

George V Paris-every corner is way too deceiving.

Infineon Raceway Sports Car Course-it rewards drivers with a light foot and kills those with a heavy one. I fall into the second category. :dunce:

I really hated Infineon at first, but after mastering it, I can beat AI cars with much more power! On the Bentley Speed 8 mission, I passed the Audi R8 on that track before even reaching Lap 3! :dopey:

The track that makes me sick is the Ice Arena. I ride on the walls more than I ride on my own tires on that track, and it's usually not on purpose! :indiff:

I love all tracks except Chamonix and the Grand Valley Ralley track !! Rallying never been my fav, but I'm playing GT4 for almost 3 years now almost since its release and I've learned to love many tracks which I hated at the beginning like Opera, HongKong .. just try to make good laps especially on those narrow tracks . I couldn't handle HongKong in the beginning, even had problems with winning the 18 lap race GT World Series .. but now I play it just for fun to improve my skills with different kinds of cars .. the Chapparral with this vacuum thing can be pretty good there because of its enormous tire endurance ;)

Hong Kong is no longer my most unliked track in GT4 (in fact, it's now one of my favourite), it's now Motegi Road Course. One mistake going into a corner too fast and the massive runoffs and sandbanks will leave your time worthless. I hate it, with a passion.

Opera Paris is my most hated track. I dunno why, it's not that it's exactly a hard course but I hate racing on it. My most hated rally track is Grand Canyon. You can't overtake without getting a penalty. My B-Spec Bob's most hated tracks are Opera Paris and La Sarthe

I used to hate Honk Kong too, but I just did a 35 lap race there in arcade mode, and it was great. I agree that Motegi is painful. It's impossible to judge braking points because it it so flat.

I actually like El Capitan because it's a speedy course(I don't even really play on it a lot). Infineon's first 2 elevating turns are like the premier hairpins. I'll even go as far as saying that those 2 are harder than any of Nurburgring's. And of course, I suck at rally races and that's why I hate them. Gymkhana is just too mentally stressing! It's impossible to find the turns on gymkhana.

i use Infineon for all of my car tuning. That's because it's easy for me. My most hated track is the Nurb. I always mess up somewhere on it.

I always mess up on the Nurb at least once, but recover quickly and keep on driving. I love the Nurb, especially when driving it in the 88C-V trying to get a faster lap than last time.

Anyway, my favourite tracks are:

Sarthe circuit (I and II)
the Nurb
Grand Valley (full) (where I do all my testing, mainly because of its wide variety of corner types)
Test Course (although the GT2 version with trees was way better)

My worst tracks are:

Fuji 2005 (both of them)
Grand Canyon
Charmonix
Seoul
Hong Kong
