You must be king of the one line post's please backup your posts with hard fact's dear god !
so please explain why Forza doe's not look special and also one of your earlier posts mentioned that GT4 was more accurate than Forza please back this up.

Thank you !

I'll explain it to you
Please , take a look at the new GT4 graphics...and then compare it with Forza.
You will see the difference

Kinigitt, lets see if they can do those animations with 6 cars on the track eh ;)

And cosmic, lets see how good gt4 would look if you added damage, twice as many cars on the track, oil spills, higher detailed scenery, 5.1 sound, a physics engine even more complex, cars that can actually flip, higher poly cars and scenery, interiors and drivers in all the cars :P.

why do u guys keep posting photoshopped developer shots of Forza when there are real ones from TGS?

just look:
firza05.jpg

LMFAO other cars have no shadows

and compare it to this:
xbox4_08.jpg

simple eh? but where is the shadow or wheels of this car? a Back to the Furure car?

and this:
xbox4_04.jpg

look at the background - and ppl complain that GT has low-res backgrounds, Forza has super low-res backgrounds!
i mean a REALLY LOW res - this is even worse than N64-low, this is mega low-res blurfest!
isn't XBox like 4 times as powerful as the old PS2? even the car itself isn't in the same league as the ones GT4.

but the developer has something to say:
xbox4_12.jpg

"Just look foo! j00 can add da flamez!"

We really do need to stop this ****, it's getting pathetic, even those that say they aren't Forza or GT fanboys seem to be coming out of the respective devs ass and defending theirs till the very end, even if it means spouting bs.

Quite funny actually.

Yeah I just saw those vids of game informer, looked just like Gtp, but with motion capture (very good motion capture I'd like to say).

Cobra, lets not be a dirty great big graphics whore for a change.

Gt4 makes sacrifices for it's graphics, while forza has features like damage, oil spills, decent AI, higher detailed cars, better customisation, more cars on track at once, true 5.1, etc, so I mean, go ahead, judge it on it's graphics (even though technically they are better) like the typical 12 year old ps2 owner, who probs has never owned a machine before the ps1 :P

Call me a forza fanboy, meh, I just say what I see, and atm forza seems to be doing the stuff Gt should have done back in 2001 :P.
Those weren't motion caps, all ingame. How could the b-spec be motion cap? :dunce: and you said that looks like gtp? Hope you kidding me.

Cobra, looking at the animations, the look motion captured. This is not a bad thing you idiot, motion capture makes the animations look more realistic as it's taken off real people. FS, get a fricking clue, I obviously meant the pit crew and driver animations. And yes, the graphics look the same as GTPs, which is no bad thing.

Have you actually seen the cars flip? Just asking and I doubt the physics will be more realistic than gt4's when they are more forgiving

The graphics dont look same as gtp's. Kaz said he wouldn't use motion caps for the human characters in gt4.

Both games will be thest on their respective console, both games are proper sim,s both games will be great, no argument needed. At least save it until you've played them both.

Cosmic, read what your saying man, your coming off as a bit of a dumb fanboy, I don't know sometimes, shhesssh.

Front, MS paid him to be happy :P :P hahah beat ya too it cosmic

Cosmic
I think Microsoft has payed them to play the game , but they doesn't look very impressed
They don't look impressed!!!! WTF, cut the crap Cosmic, your smarter than this. Theres pics of KY when he doesn't look impressed, does that mean GT4 wil be under-par?

cobragt
Might be laughing at how sad the game looks, j/p
Cobra, shut up fanning the flames, Forza looks good theres no denying it, okay the lighting isn't as right as GT4's but it's still damn impressiver compared to every other racer on both XB and PS2.

yeah I read that too. Supposedly all animated by hand.

Hand drawn animation has the potential to be amazing or disgraceful. They have done an awesome job I must say.

Mo-cap stuff usually looks truer to life, but it is limited in scope, and you need good actors.

I was just kidding :indiff:
Edit:
He doesn't need to look impressed beacuse inside him his is impressed :)

Thing I admire in Forza is the fact that even the spoiler's shadow is reflected onto the cars body. In fact I wonder if the shadows will be reflected onto the other cars and scenery. No game I have seen so far has done this successfully.

Tbh I think if you want to compare pics of each, get in game shots and replay shots together of the same scenario, no photomode's and using the same car, shouldn't be too hard as Forza has a lot from GT's inventory anyway and some that are not.

I'd rather read his impressions that judge by a stupid picture at a gaming event.

Somebody could have told a funny joke and that's why he's laughing. This is stupid.

PGR2 had dynamic lighting. The spoilers cast shadows, the A B C columns cast shadows onto the seats, driver and dashboard. other car's shadows were draped over your car if you pass them on the side that the shadow is sitting. Dents from damage and flailing body panels cast shadows.

It's a constant lighting engine incorporated into the game. It takes up lots CPU power, so it could be a big factor concerning the 30fps frame rate.

Real-time reflections are old news now, even Grand Theft auto has em. Every game worth it's salt graphically has reflective surfaces and water effects.

Umm how does that like arse? Please explain. I don't understand. I'm quite good at judging what looks bad and what looks good, and to me, that looks pretty good.

Shadows in pgr2 were very good. I loved how all the dents etc shadowed correctly etc
