That's pretty fanboyish if you ask me. To say a game will be better because it's online is crap. 👎 That's like saying Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal (best name for a game ever!!!!FrontForza will have better AI than GT4 the simple fact it can go online ensure's that, i'd rather play online anyway.
AI in forza no one know's yet speculation mainly about "learning AI" it sounds promising no one has said it will be better than GT4 because frankly no one know's.
But online play against real people is what draws me to this game over and above any other feature's you can shove your emotional graphics and Photomode.
Not saying GT4 will be bad BUT a major pulling point for me is racing against people all over the world and mix in your buddies and it should be a great laugh think of Forza's races man..

Even if Forza will ever come close to GT, it won't happen with the first game.
And if there is just one reason why it never beat GT - is because it's not made by Japanese. Won't start the explaining process, reasons are more then known.

Simple fact is if I like to play online, in fact love it so much i've been doing it since 1997 on PC mainly, I like the way GT4 looks which is why i'm buying a PS2 and GT4 as soon as it come's out but I fear the AI won't be enough and i'll be left craving for more.
I've owned a multitude of consoles over the years and it all started with the ZX-81 and the only cosoles i've missed are the PS2, XBox and Gamecube mainly due to playing game's on the PC or not having money etc.... but both GT4 and Forza interest me.
GT4 Interests me because it's got some amazing visuals and it has a solid fanbase i've been playing GT2 on my PC through emulation and it's a quality game. shame I can't use my DFP with GT2 lol
Forza on the other hand has the features I crave Online, Tuning, Exotics i'd be a fool do dismiss it because it's not as pretty as GT4, Forza's graphics are great from a technical standpoint and the more media that's released on the game the better it look's.
I'll be getting both no doubt, i'm a fanboy in respect too interesting game's if it seem's interesting to me i'll support it, but in no wa do I religiously hold one game above all other's because that is just foolishness.

Forza has a few more exotics, if any more, only because of Ferrari and Porsche, which are both overrated and there are better cars, people make too big of a deal out of these.
Tuning so far looks simple, AI looks weak, phyisics look weak-er than GT4 (look like GT3), visuals so far are a bit over done (tire marks) damage is a bit foolish (at 150 and 40 damage was no different). Fewer cars (and according to my roommate, who works for an online editorial site, it's because they wanted to include damage, so they had to scrap some manufacturers). Online is decent, but we'll see how long is lasts, especially with a simulator, the fan base isn't as large with Forza, hell Microsoft has about a 33% share of the console industry, which means that out of that 33%, we can be generous and say....20% will purchase forza, about 17% will play it online, and about 14% will be serious about it...just guessing with these numbers, but you see where I'm going, online might be good for a while, but with such a small fanbase it won't last long, and as for "around the world" you might as well change that to "USA and Europe" because I doubt any japanese gamer will play this over GT4....
Everything is relative...I just think it's a bit silly.

I think both of you mean "Production Car" as "Street Car" just means road legal, and includes all manner of tuned vehicles

umm the fastest production car in the world in is the Koenigsegg CCR which has hit 242mph it's aiming for 250mph at the Nardo at some point but it is the current worlds fastest car
On a side note the world's fastest car is also in Forza which is obviously the Koeningsegg CCR

#1 They have not confirmed this fact they simpily cannot get the aerodynamics right it's spun out and also crashed on 2 test run's and it's also not a "production" car yet !
252mph (claimed) is correct for the Veyron not (confirmed)
The fastest production car in the world is the Koenigsegg CCR and is confirmed at 242mph and will be trying for 250mph at the Nardo sometime soon
