Not had much time this week to do any real racing w/this setup for this weeks race, however, since it's Friday and I'm almost off from work (Less then 30mins to go) when I get home, ya'll (Southern for 'you all know'

well, I came to the WRS's for a bit of a challenge and a way to hone my skills...
Possibly not this much of a challenge tho' lol
currently running T1 at 25+ and T2 at 50+ so I threw B-Spec Bob in the car an asked him to show me the braking points and correct racing line... poor bastard's 2-3 seconds slower than me... don't think I'll be taking too much advice from him yet...

Wow, some of those times I am seeing from the lower divisions make me happy to be nothing more than a racer in this series.
When I was mod there was a different set of rules for me regarding questioning a lap or asking for verification.
However, now that I am just another racer I can actually ask about things like that simply because I have the same rights as everyone else here.
As the race admin, things had to be worked out with care and consideration.
As a racer all I have to do is ask.
Being a normal racer rules!!!
Btw, I'm still working on my lap, haven't run it in a while.
However, my main concern is the possibility that I ran wide on the back stretch.
Gonna check that on my current lap, then try to beat it regardless of the out come.
Catch you all later on when Im done with my runs.

ZeratulSG@Kolyana: You're doing a pretty good job of dogging my heelsI think I may have a serious competitor here...
I've only really put in one session with any gusto ... the combo still eludes me, but I can see plenty of areas that need improvement and won't be happy unless I shave some additional time off with a semi-decent finish ... I *hope* that I can snap at your heels a little more effectively than I am right now

I work the grave-yard shift for a internet security company...
Well, I must say this about this weeks event....
Now I know why this kind of car should only be used on an OVAL! :-)
My god this beast handles like a bear on a high-wire!...NO...Wait...I've seen bears handle themselves with more grace on a high-wire then this car! LOL!
This car + This Track = Why I hate 'muscle cars'....and why I love those fast, road-hugging, European Exotics MUCH better!
But for what its worth, here are my sorry a** times so far!

Ho Hum.....might try and get some faster times but this combo already has me biting & throwing things around my office right now that I fear if I continue, I'll put my hand through the wall.....AGAIN...and I've not quite yet fully patched the last one I added!

LOL!! Sometimes I wish I could turn off the clock like I can turn off the ghost. I have the same problem of cracking under pressure when I see a good T.

I'm terrible at this track ... sports car or stock car versions ... me and this track just do not get along. I'm really, really, really bad at it for some reason. I'm working my ass off here for a .1 gain, when I can obviously see more ... but can I hit any corner right? Can I hell.

Man o man I know there is atleast another halh of a second hiding in this track but Im still shooting to get it all together. I nearly had it in a session today, but I just missed it. I sound like a sailor when a session goes bad lol!
Im gonna put in another session tonight but firsts im going to relax with some laps around monaco or Grand Valley. In what you may ask? oh maybe my 1992 honda NSXR

I HATE THAT T1 - T2 RUN!
It's impossible for me to get any time there.
I seem to be at the sharper end of the field with 22.711 for T1, then by T2 i'm almost at 48, I've only seen 46.9xx once, and then I screwed the last corner up.
I just can't get a line for that right after the short back straight...

as usual, i'm here to help
that corner is critical in order to get a good t2,
depending on how well u came out of the corner b4, i usually brake right in the middle of the skid mark on the left o the track, ofcourse, position the car as far left as humanly possible by putting two wheels on the yellow line, meaning that its just legal.....
but try and focus on EXIT speed
meaning u have to drop u speed down to 68km/h to take the corner optimally, dont turn into the apex untill late and do NOT jump the rumble strip at all, to achieve a fast time, u need tcs, but u also must limit the effect the tcs has on the car. hope thats of use, peace 👍 just adding, i think this will b my last race for a while, ive decided to focus on other things, but i will definitely b in the bc in september

Thanks for the tips. Hmm, I have 3 days to beat a 46.619, which means I need to extract another .3 at least...
Edit - I knocked off a hundredth...lol...still slightly worse T2 time

dont think i'll be submitting a time this week. nothing to do with the track or car, just havent had the urge to even turn gt4 on!

Funny you should mention your lack of desire to turn GT4 on ... I really haven't raced that much this week at all ... half an hr, three times maybe ... rest fo the time I've been quite happy doing completely different things (including grabbing some golds in the license tests, I admit)
