IF there is a rumble-strip to the right of the line on the entry to the corner, then the rumble is still the track, if there is not................?

Track is INSIDE of solid yellow lines, UNLESS there is a rumble-strip, then the limit's of the rumble-strip would be the limits of the legal track.

Same rules as always really, two on the track at all times (including rumble-strips)
Given, that the solid yellow lines are the definition of the track, which by CFM's post's seems to be the case.

Not that hard to understand!

No probz

You two have just caught me after the pub, 7 pints of Guiness and a couple of double JD's & coke for the worse!

I tend to get a little pedantic and rightiously indignant at these times, so no offence meant........ well.............?
How are you getting on this week?

I am finding that if i just relax into the weight transfer and let the car do the work then i can go with the flow, and be a lot faster!

SMOOTH with a capital SMOOOOOOO! is the key!

Neil

Just a fun post, not entirely off-topic!

If you want to keep your PS2 cool in hot weather, get one of those bendy/flexible/laptop-hyped mini USB fans(£5 or less from a computer fair).........plug it into one of the usb sockets of your PS2 and curl it back onto itself (ideally pointing back towards your PS2) and...........

Instant cooling fan for your overworked,hot,tired,long-suffering PS2!!!!!

Mite stop tho's rear's overheating a little too

Also you can use it as an excuse for turning the sound up!!!!!

BONUS!!!!
:sly:

Leaderboard Updated

I don't know,

I miss one week, and suddenly i loose my d2 status and controller type on the un-official leaderboard......... :grumpy:

Have adjusted sig so it's easier to spot for whoever is doing it at the minute. :D

You know, it's REALLY hard to be sarcastically funny in text, never mind!

Neil

@balls ... sorry for the mix-up ;) I was late leaving for work this morning while I was updating the leaderboard (what priorities?) and made a typo, you division's fixed now, but the controller's still not showing up ... I'll have a look into that when I get a few extra minutes :P

Some questions about the following corner again?

rules25kp.jpg

Keep your two right (passenger side) tires in contact with the innermost (right side) yellow line. The extra yellow line to the left here is meaningless. Treat the yellow line that extends all the way down the back stretch as the edge of the track as you would anywhere else on the course, aside from where the rumble is. Are we clear now, or will I have to come back tommorrow with a 30 camera angle montage?

@ hotboi - Stay within the rumbles on entry, no corner cutting this week. The rumbles are the boundaries of the track as usual.

Ahh ... beer and computers, what a delightful combination :P ;)

Hey.......

It's the only,......., barely legal way to Drink,Drive,Smoke and FLY all at the same time!

LOL

Don't spoil my fun! :dopey:

Hey CFM!

Mate,

You could have just said.......

Ball's is right!

BIG LOL!!!!!!

Would have saved time,.......and bandwidth! lol

Haha edited, i was running on sports softs, i just got confused. Will run now on sports hards. :D

CFM, i´ve sent you 2 PM´s about our Maxdrive tradement. U should read both, as i´ve paid you now. 👍 :)

I made some improvement.

T1 - 23.084
T2 - 47.610
T3 - x'xx.xx9 (ouch) :P

This is the first time I've been able to use manual on a combo, I never really learned manual in GT4 while racing at my limit. Well this car only has 4 gears and it isn't very intense racing, so no better time to learn :) Took me some laps but now I'm just as fast manual, maybe even faster with engine braking :)

Ran a few more laps. Still can't nail T1, but jammin' on T2 and 3.

T1- 22.912
T2- 47.242

More importantly my car setup which is key to this hot lap.
Color is Moulin Rouge with big fuzzy dice on the rear view. :sly:

Wow! You just took the D2 lead 👍

Hehe. Used ta bomb around in cars very similar to this a "few" years ago. So I got some seat time.

Glad to have the lead for at least a few minutes anyway. I'm feelin' the snout of your beast on my rear quarter. No T-bones now Kenny. :)

T-boning you would slow me down, I prefer to pass on the left (if given the chance to)

Anyway my dad is watching a movie on scifi called Momentum

Well everyone seems to be drinking, so I poured myself a glass of red wine and suddenly everything started to fall into place. Apparently I should drink and drive more often.

T1: 23.294
T2: 47.791

I really don't know what I'm doing on this track - it showed in my qualifier - but hopefully I'll get better as the week goes on. There's lots to be had here for sure.

Naturally. Alcohol helps you relax. A relaxed driver is more alert and has a clearer state of mind. I recommend drinking and driving to anyone in the pursuit of finer driving on the street - after all - wouldn't YOU want to drive at your best for the sake of everyone else on the road? :dopey: :)

...thats all thats needed to be said...
...gulp!

I'm so glad that I have space for a wine glass on this cockpit. Excuse me, I need to go pour another glass ... I'll stop when I start hitting the people in the stands.

After last week's rally disaster, i couldn't wait to get back onto tarmac. Unfortunately, for the most part of my 2 days off this week my internet modem decided to play some tricks on me so i didn't find out this week's combo until today's afternoon. Anyone else have a sister that insists on watching ALL of the soaps when she's home? Arghhh so much so that i know what's happening on many of them now... I'm so ashamed :yuck: .

Anyways, snuck in a little 10 lap session and i'm pretty pleased with my progress.
T1: 0'22.799 (screwed up the first uphill right)
T2: 0'47.785 (still dont know the two tight right turns very well, in comparison with the leaderboard, looks like i'm getting my ass handed to me in this section)

Hope to find enough drive to play after work this week. I find that this track (and it's other version) has alot of rhythm and i think it'll be very helpful to me this week.

sorry, but the run i posted is illegal.
heres a legal run i did
T1 22.648
T2 46.615

T1 23.078
T2 47.838

/w TCS on

I don't mind the handling of this car, but it's annoying how quiet the engine sound is from the bumper cam.

ballstothewall
DFP is the only tool for the job this week, you can FEEL how this lovely lady is behaving before you can hear the tyres squealing!
Awww :-P LUCKY!!! I bet! Oh well, maybe someday...
