so far, i know that my time is 2´5 seconds behind hot604boi, maybe the biggest gap since i´ve been running WRS seriously... but, it would still put me in a top 10... looks like its hot, holl, veil and cfm... the rest of the pack a bit behind... i´m very curious to see those replays...

And yet again, a perfect example of why having a max drive is a good thing.

I encourage all of you to put in the money and effort to get some sort of replay device. 👍

Not only do you get to support your own work but you get to learn from other people.
Plus, you get to verify other people's work if you are hesitant to accept their claims at face value.

The reasons for getting a replay device are numerous. 👍

On a side note,
Best of luck to all of you this week. :D
Also, today might be a good day to do some suggestions in the proper thread. :sly:
I love suggestions but I hate how they dry up mid-week and come back hard at the end of the week. :indiff:

you can see both PAL and NTSC replays with the same PS2??? :odd: :odd: :odd:

Yup! I saw Weary's and he's using PAL down under...

@Randy: Wow way to keep at it, excellent splits for sure! As for me, I haven't really REALLY gotten into this one as much as past weeks. I think I have clausterphobia or something...lol.

Hmmm...replying to myself...iv not done that before...lol
unavaliable coz the race doesnt start for 2.5 hours lol, im a muppet.

Finally getting somewhere...

T1: 0'45.882 :yuck:
T2: 1'19.007 :)

I love the T1-T2 section through the buildings, it's a wonderful exercise in weight transfer. But I still haven't really worked out the bottom hairpin section, I always feel like I lose too much speed.

EDIT: I've just done a bit of number crunching, and worked out that my second sector split is about fourth fastest outright!! I guess I'm doing something right through there. Now if only I could get the first sector on the pace.

guys, dont know if i should give the secret away...

but for that uphill left that every1 seems to be having trouble with
- you need to use the x-tra little bit of space on the right side of the road give youself a bigger arc to turn in~

that is what I have been doing since the first lap in the miata thanks to my hrs of practice on this track :)

anyone else ride the right hand side curb almost the whole way up that long right hander?

Well, I just ran my fastest lap of the week. My first split was terrible, but I really made up for it at T2 and the final sector. I have a lot more practice left, but for now I'm happy:

T1: 46.555
T2: 1:19.636 (first time under 1:20)

That was the best I've run the second sector. Now I just need to get my first and last sector as fast as my second sector.

WOW

That second sector is faster than mine Lewie! And only 0.04 slower than Holl01!

If you put it all together you could have a D1 podium in D3 :)

First week in WRS, finally got some splits I am not embarrassed to post. Having fun with this combo though, very important to be smooth and maintain momentum.

T1 47.356
T2 1'21.603

more to be had if I have time.

had a 2 hour session and this is the best i could realistically hope for this week with the DS2

44.593 (seen 44.495 once)
1'17.320 (seen 1'17.15x once)

i think i pretty much nailed t3 also, i know i absolutely slaughtered the shickane after t2- didnt drop below 100km/h there- one of those fluke corners- i then lost .050 at the hairpin and did the last crappy left ok- hit the line at 111.5km/h, or something like that, and the speed was 99.5km/h at the slowest.

but this week, the dfp is far superior and i will have one more session tomorrow (or tonight possibly) with the DFP and see if i can slash a few tenths off the time that i'm most likely gonna submit. i can see me challenging hotboi for the win as i know i can be faster with the dfp, cya later drivers!

holl01...you and hotboi are machines!!! I can't understand how you could possibly put down splits like that, I did a 45.2xx once at T1 and it felt perfect...how on earth you could cut another 0.8 off of that is beyond me...

oh no, that´s just  had 44´9, then 1´17´9 and finish the lap ok... then, check the replay and i crash the wall twice! :banghead:

stupid me

now i can´t get back to that lap... strange thing, if i could put togheter all my best splits, i would have 1´17´1 in T2... :banghead: but i will probably not lower my 1´18 time...

is just me, or almost all div 2 drivers disappear this week?

another hour still on the fight...

Time submitted.

Final splits:
46.079 / 1'20.411

I'm off to spend the rest of the day in the Mission Hall :dunce:

C you guys at the next race!

Well, I'm here this week...and there are quite a few on the leaderboard. So I'm sure you'll have someone to beat!! ;)

And @OnlyMe: You do know that the deadline is tomorrow, don't you? You still have more than 24 hours....but feel free to spend that time on other activities :sly:

well, good, i just didn´t see many of the "regular" on the leaderboard...

just got to work now, 2 hours ago i fluked two laps in that last corner... in one i had 1´17´9 (seems to be my limit) and the other 1´18´0. i´m so clutchless that i look like Patrick Ewing... :dunce: sometime i will have to get it right when i´m fast...

there´s no way i´m going to submit the time i already have... i could beat it by more than a second, so tonight its going to be crucial... just have to be more relax and make that last turn like i do everytime i start a lap... (crossing the finish line at 113-116)

VTRacing
I don't get it.

Have I lost something in the translation from Portuguese? :)

no, no, i was comparing myself to New York Knicks center, jamaican born Patrick Ewing, who was known to be a fluke in clutch time... just couldn´t make a shot when they need him... (in my case a turn when i need it :yuck: )

just a wrong analogy (or off-topic analogy), but NBA fans, or anyone who follows basketball knows why i compared myself to him...) i hope its clear now...

and just to add, yep, that´s what i was thinking, i need to figure T3-to finish tonight... :ill:

a lot of fast rounds (well fast for me that is...) but not too many clean ones.. that middle part between T1 and T2 scratched a lot of paint of my car.. best clean one so far:

T1: 47.216
T2: 1.21.107

Thats with DS2

I need to find T3...I think I took a wrong turn up the back straight ;) Just kidding, I got your Ewing analogy by the way and I thought it was clever. For all the Aussies out there who don't follow NBA, it's like pulling a Greg Norman on that last corner...I certainly did that :)

oh, i'm in d2 as well if you were curious.

took another few laps this morning... eh, improved my final time, but my splits are still pretty medeocre.

T1 45.498
T2 1'19.304

i have no idea how you guys can get 44's on T1... eesh.
even when crossing the start @ 68mph (~110 kph) i'm still a full second off pace.
*shrug*

Looks as though T3 is killing everyone, myself included. This is gonna be one of those weeks where 2 sector times don't mean much, it'll all be decided by sec.3. My times have been looking pretty good in the standings, so I went out and bought a Max Drive yesterday, got the last one. Got home, opened it and realized I got the one for PSP...Doh!!! I'll try to get another today, just hope I'm not required to submit a relay.
