I've been trying for ages to beat my ghost and I can't, you have destroyed Div 2 this week...nice work man 👍
Thanks!
I don't know about me having it destroyed this week though... That was only the second day! There are still a lot of people who haven't raced yet, and hopefully they WILL, because it's an AWESOME race.

KLR, may I just say.. Holy Crap! I dont know where you found that .3 second but I need it! If I can find that through T1 I might be able to match your T2, or better yet break that "other" time barrier on a full lap... Ive been doing the same drift around the right hander that you mentioned. I only crash into the wall about 2 times out of 5 now..
Im guessing that was all with the A3... Thats an awesome car, I have no plans to switch, even out of the box it doesnt understeer nearly as bad as I had thought.
Im still not sure on the setup though, were you planning on posting yours?
Yep, A3 it was. I was planning on using that car from the beginning, and I don't really feel that it's necessarily the fastest... I still haven't tried the TT or the RSi, so I might have a try at those now that my splits are so down there... I think by the end of the week, if I have enough time, I can get through that other barrier... There's just soooo much time hiding in the last right turn before the right sweeper onto the Start/Finish straight, I can tell it's there because I'm not swinging wide or taking completely the correct line through it. Gotta get that figured out and I think I'll be there soon enough! 👍
Settings? Sure. Not far from stock actually, and this is on a new A3, not my 1600+mile one, which had stiffer suspension, I just hadn't tried out softer suspension with that one. Then I switched cars and decided to leave it near stock springs for any bumps that I might encounter...

Gearing, my custom version of the tranny trick: Move final to 4.700, move auto to 1, move final back to 3.000 and don't touch the auto again. Adjust initial final to wherever you need it to make it so you run out of whatever gear you want to end in(in this case, on the A3, 6th gear, I might do 5th on the Golf though, and I originally started out using 2nd through 5th on the A3 as well), and of course so that your gearing matches well enough with the course.

Suspension basically, just bumped the shock's bound down to 6 and 5, 6 in the front to reduce dive, bound is at 8/9, to reduce dive again, ride height is 86/85, also to try and keep the rear on the ground during braking, camber was started at 2.4, but that was too aggressive, so now I'm at 2.0/1.0, and I might get around to lowering that more, don't know if it'll help though. Sways are still 4/4, and toe is still 0/0.
The stuff to reduce dive was just in haste, but I think it did actually help a little. Give it a try I guess?
Now I hope this setup doesn't make people come back and kick my arse... But I do expect some people to be faster than I this week, so... Good luck! Haha.
bbq, I hadn't seen you before, but the past two weeks(I think), you've been making quite the showing... I was thinking your splits were pretty damn fast those weeks! Couldn't touch'm!
Edit: Springs are 7.5/6.0. The same general tuning theory and settings almost(move front spring up a notch or two, but leave rear spring rate stock), and then the same settings elsewhere, and you should be in a pretty good game with the Golf as well. But, it'll exit slower if you leave it the same... Gotta tune in a little less understeer on the way out of those turns, these settings "should" only make that worse actually, assuming these cars act the way you'd think they would in real life when responding to tuning... Which they, sadly, don't really.
