No! Forgot to submit! I had an awesome time though :P, div 4 worthy, even if i do say so myself.

EDIT::dunce: :dunce: :dunce: :dunce: :dunce:

Flat-out
deadline is tuesday 28th march 9pm GMT
Clocks went forwards here, my mistake :P. Move along, nothing to see here.

Deadline is only in 25 minutes, you still can submit.

Edit :
All Europe switched to DST last week-end. So it's one hour later for all european drivers.
That's why the deadline is defined GMT.

Yay...first REAL post...and I'm happy with 4th, I knew Luxy and shockwave had me, I would have been interested to see iceman's time but not to be. Nice racing folks 👍 here's my replay.

can't run a clean lap to save my life! The car is a bit "unsettled"....or is it the driver? At any rate in GT mode we could tweak the car and get it drivable, but I hope everyone had fun wrestling this scary fast little pig of a car. Can't see how this car carried Rally Champions to victory, it almost seems that taming the beast is half of the battle.

Flat-out
You're right, I'll delete all 3 posts above yours

Well you and Randy jumped the gun, posts before the final laps are put up are DQ'ed (in my crazy world anyway :sly: )

Third place?!:scared: Not bad for my first race I guess. :)

Wow ROB we had VERY close times. I guess I had a little breeze going my direction :sly:

This was a very fun race. I enjoyed trying to find the perfect way to drift around every corner! I had to restart so many times that I finally got pretty good at the first S-turns. I got a T1: 26.453 which is pretty respectable IMO. I just kept messing my other T-times up :dunce:. This was such fun, I would even vote for another rally WRS in the near future. Good choice Flat-Out! 👍 👍

I'll upload my replay when I get home from work too, incase anybody would like to see it.

This doesn't make much sense -- if I'd been in Div 2, I'd have had a Silver time. But my time in Div 3 is Bronze? Isn't Div 3 SUPPOSED to be slower than Div 2? Seems to me, everyone who got a slower time than me should also have Bronze, since I got a Bronze... I count 5 folks who had a slower time than mine, one of whom got a Silver in Div 2...

And is there any way you can post what the Gold, Silver, and Bronze times are before the week is finished? This is the second week in a row that I've missed the next-highest medal by a relatively small amount. Missed Silver this week by 1.006 seconds, and Gold last week by 0.289 seconds... Had I known I was that close, I would've gone a few more laps to try to break it...

I noticed that the cut-off times for div3 are higher than those for div2. Mainly due to my crap time, sorry.
The cut-offs are calculated based on all submitted times for each div. So there's no way anybody can know them before all times have been submitted. I just round the figure.
With 4 drivers only submitting in div3, this system reaches the limit of its relevancy I think. Perhaps I'll demote myself since I can hardly put much time in any combo.

I see, so it's like a bell-curve... The Gold/Silver/Bronze times are based entirely on the submitted times, so you can't know what the distribution will be 'till you have the actual numbers...

And it just occurred to me, if you were able to post cut-off times, that would be almost like discussing lap times anyway... We'd all be saying things like "Well, I've got a Silver time this week so far, but I'm only two-tenths away from a Gold time." Then everyone would know pretty much what everyone else's lap times are...

Damn you Weary! ;) I knew my final sector was pretty good, but obviously not good enough...

I'll post my replay shortly. Can't wait to see Dan's.

I love BRRRRRONZE! :^)

Well done to all that could grab the gold. I had plenty of just dirty 1'26s but I couldn't even dream of any lower than that. Amazing...

👍 👍 👍 Congrats to everyone who submitted a time.

 To Holl, Weary, and Shockwave for the stiff competition, and one of the best races I've participated in :)

I found this one particularly tough for two reasons ... One, the turbo lag makes it an all or nothing proposition. If you're a fraction too early with the power, you'll run wide. A fraction too late, you drop below 3500rpm, and you're cooked. Every corner had to be just right. Two, most of the corners are blind drifts (in bumper cam, anyway) or worse, linked blind drifts

From the splits I saw, a 1'21.5 was possible in theory. I have a dirty 1'22.1 that really broke my heart :ouch:

Here's my replay ....

Big congrats indeed to all 21 racers who submitted this week. That was an absolute mayhem, I must agree. But hey, that's what the WRS is here for : make you race combos that you wouldn't race :D

BTW, for the lazy NTSC replay checkers (not that they are less lazy than the PAL ones, both are lazy ;) ), here is Luxy's replay in Max Driver format

Here's my replay (NTSC). It was a fun race (my first). Very challenging to reach times anywhere close to Div1 👍

yay!...first post and first podium for me!

Congratulations! That's a pretty impressive time!
Didn't see any splits from you during the week, is that why you were keeping them quiet?!!!! ;)

Congrats to all the podium finishers, and to everyone who was able to tame this wild, slidey beast enough to submit a clean lap! I'll have to post my replay later, we've got guests sleeping off their 9hrs of jetlag and booze after an 11hr flight in the spare room at the moment, so I can't get at the PS2! :nervous:<------trembles with GT4-withdrawal sickness! :ill:

Well, I've been doing quite a few things in RL, and didn't get to have another go at this combo, like I wanted to. And, I forgot to even submit the original run that I did when the race was first posted, which was done with NO power increase. For what it's worth, I managed a 1'31.392.

KLR142
Well, I've been doing quite a few things in RL....

I know the feeling, but RL is more important!
Due to circumstances I mentioned above, I doubt I'll get another crack at Wk50 race after my little session last night, where I was unable to keep a lap clean, but had tremendous fun, with AI on N3s at +10, was going to try for highest A-spec points win, :P even if I wasn't going to be fastest because of my car choice! :guilty:
Maybe next Monday evening if I'm lucky, but there's no guarantee of a clean lap even then. :nervous: Disappointing sure, but it's not the be-all and end-all of everything!!

Hey, congrats to all the podium finishers, and to luxy for a solid effort. This car was the ultimate challenge IMO, theres no other car in the game that is more difficult to drive than this one, cheers!

Should be able to.

Edit -> Go Advanced - > Manage Attachments.

I'll try it on this post just to check. :)
