Not my cup of tea, this week. I'm gonna pass on this one, but good luck to everyone who's running 👍

I'm not gonna be around next week, either ... I'm going on vacation to Cuba!! :D My wife says I'm addicted to GTPlanet, and I need some time to recover ;) Anyway, Small_Fryz has graciously offered to take over leaderboard duties while I'm away 👍 👍 Thanks, Dion :)

Take it easy on him next week guys and gals ... it's going to be baptism by fire with 11 T-times at the ring :mischievous: :)

Damn and blast . My DFP stated playing up, throttle dropping down by 15% or so. I followed some hints and tips on the DFP pedal dramas Thread , now the 🤬 thing isnt going at all, no brakes ,throttle or steering. Seems to calibrate ok on power up but when you enter a race its all bad. Just when i thought i might cut another .5 sec off my time :grumpy:. Ive left a help call on the DFP pedal thread, but to say im annoyed right now is an understatement!!!

Steve

Try to call or email Logitech, as I have heard that they are aware of the pedal troubles and have been very helpful about getting you back on the road again.👍

I've decided that we're only going to discuss T3, T6, and T9 times for the Nurb. 11 splits are too many to keep track of.

Ok,think i'm reaching my limit here!
Just can't seem to get any faster round T1-T2 than this

T1 27.487
T2 1,03.586

Though i have taken well over a second off overall

I can get the car set up for fastish T1's and fast T2-finish, but can't put a decent T1-T2 together with the same setup!

Any suggestions?

I don't see why some people aren't using max downforce. This has helped me get much better times than anything else.

T1: 27.254
T2: 1'03.046

I figure I can get a few more tenths out of T2, as my L-L-R-L combo is somewhat lacking, as well as the third turn after T1. Also, I have found that taking the first hairpin of the lap so deep as to almost hit the perpendicular wall with the front-right panel to be the best line for this car; you will gain at least 4 mph on the next straight over a safe racing line.

Div 2, DS2

T1: 27.263
T2: 1'02.838

Finally, I saw the light on how to gain some time between T1 and T2, but had a very sloppy finish. :(

Yeah, that's the only thing I took from Luxy's settings. I improved my average T2 by 1.5 sec.

I can get T1 under the 28, but for some reason I can't find the right line on the last few 90 degree corners before the straight at the end of T2. It is killing my T2 times, best I can do is 1'05 right now. Still some work to do.

Loosening the springs, setting the car higher and maxing the front downforce has helped. Rear downforce doesnt do much for me, so I didn't max that out to get me some more topspeed on the straights.

I ran 5 more laps tonight, and the Dodge just reached 250 km.
Time submitted : 27.947 / 1'04.541, that won't scare anyone in div2. :sly:
See you at the Nürb for the ultimate wall banging experience.

Maaaaaan, I bet you want that sub '27 T1 sooooo damn badly, I know I would!

ive actually been hittin the 26's pretty consistently sumtimes a 26.8xx
but when i do get the 26's i have so much more x-tra speed at the end of the straight. It doesnt seem to help me for the right turn after t1~

Well, I ran a few 27.1's and even a 27.030 (!) which is a major improvement, but not one I could keep through the rest of the lap :(

I have been tweaking a few settings and while I can match my sub 1'03 time, I haven't beat it yet ... I'll have another go at it later, or tomorrow, but for now I need to see what this Forza is all about.

Would you mind posting your settings hotboi, i'd much appreciate that, and when u say that you should take the corners after T1 in third, does that mean every corner thats left to the finish, or just the next 2 or three?

holl01
ok, made some improvements with the setup and knocked off another .25

T1 27.036
T2 1'02.160

SETTINGS that have been adjusted

LSD 10/46/15

hope these settings help!

pretty sure this is the setup, but with 30/30 downforce~

and yes the 3rd gear corners are only the 3 after t1~

thanks hotboi, although i doubt it i'll ever manage to match your T2 of 1'01.4xx. thats crazy ****, well done

Nice times there Hotboi and Hollo1.....

Can anyone explain why this diff setup works? It should plow like a horse, but hit the brakes, get the oversteer, hit the gas, and the power is there like right now. I was just playin around and found it worked for me. I just don't know why.

ROB 256R
After playing around with the settings I've managed to improve a bit. Although strangely, my T1's have been getting progressively slower, but my T2's quicker!?! Wierd!?!

T1 - 0'27.519 (poor)
T2 - 1'02.394

Also, i hope you don't mind Luxy, but i added a link for your leaderboard to my sig coz i always have trouble finding it.

Good idea Rob, I'm going to do that too b/c it always was a pain for me to find a post by him

ls2_297
completely off topic fellas.. but my bro was just stuffin around doin a lap around NY in my SRT and i noticed something and thought i would bring it up...

hold the gas and brake at the same time to get the revs up.. then release the brake and and notice the accelaration to 60km/h.... now do the same thing but in REVERSE... notice how much quicker it accelarates???? prolly already been brought up in another forum.. but hey i thought it was pretti random??

@LS2 but do note in the OLR rules (Link in other thread) ~ This rule particularly includes the use of the reverse gear button to shorten shifting times. This is explicitly prohibited!

I had a feeling that that would be possible. If only I had the nerve :nervous: .

I am really curious how you got the l-l-r-l combination before the end of T2 in 3rd gear. Time for some bold lines I guess...

no, he only meant the next 3 corners after T1, i agree, he could have been more clear- take that combo in 2nd, and then change to third just before u take the left which leads to T2. ok

I'd definately agree with that theory. My best lap has a shocking T1 of 0'27.5xx and even though i can now consistantly get T1's that are .3 quicker, i still can't get to T2 any faster. I've more or less given up for this week. Not made any improvements since Friday :grumpy:

Updates from Tele Enterprises

Looks like I've got to start posting more so you guys won't have it so rough ;)

The more links the merrier 👍

Why not just put the leaderboard link into your favourites/bookmarks?

That's what I'm screamin. 👍 I did that when I first saw the leader board. Some people spend so much time thinking outside the box, that they forget about what's in the box. LOL ...nevermind.

But at least my way, everyone can benefit. Putting it in bookmarks/favourites only helps yourself. I'm only thinking of others ;)
