Yeah it does seem pretty good. My T1-T2 time is faster than hot604boi's! (which I'm quite pleased about given the talent he clearly shows) If only i could nail T1 I'd be flying. Here's my settings:

brake b. : 2/3

spring : 7.9/4.9
ride : 137/147
bound : 7/6
rebound : 10/9
camber : 2.0/1.0 (not tried increasing this yet)
stab : 5/3

tranny trick with final @ 3.700
ASM : 1/1
TCS : 4

Downf. : 30/26
LSD : 10/46/15

weight balance : -10

Hi guys

I have some problem with that combo :/
Im using holl setup (from yesterday not from today) Im geting constantly T1 between 27.100 and 27.350 but my best T2 is 1.03.400 :(
Can you tell me what is yours line at L/L/R/L combo ? cos I feel that most of time that Im loosing is right threre :/
Im doing that combo with the line from the doc(sorry 4 doc but I dont have paint in my windows :P and dont know how to make just strite line in photoshop :P)
Im doing first L so wide cos if im cuting it than 2 L is almoust imposible to make (IMO)
Also can u tell me what gears do u use on that combo? Im using AT but I can hold any gear with R2 button(as we all know)

That is exactly the line you want. The problem is actually taking it. Setting up for 2L is critical and the most difficult because you cant see to left (2L) while your pointed towards that wall. After 1R, I accelerate for a split sec and let off to get the throttle off oversteer for 3L, then I just keep it in second until leaving 3L. This has put out the quickest times for me.(when I can pull it off)

You can practice this part of the course in the IB-8 License test. (in a FR Crossfire)

I´ve got some work on it. I think i can down in the total time, like 0.3 or more.

T1 - 27.192 - i can turn a 26.9
T2 - 1"02.212 - i can turn on .0 or even in 1"01´s too

I will improve this today. :D
 
Wow, those walls leave no room for error :-( I had the spring rate up to 10 and the ride height as low as 110, but the track seems to be too bumpy to be able to do that. And as soon as I hit a kerb... Wheeeeee! Crash!

The faster I go, the more afraid of the walls I become. Hopefully I'll get that T2 knocked down some.
 
My first race in the WRS - oh boy, this is really tough.

My times are all over the place, but best so far is
T1 - 27.354
T2 - 1'03.066

Can't really see where to make up all the time, but I think I need to avoid the kerbs more carefully as I'm losing a lot of speed on the exits and I can never seem to carry enough speed through the first right-hander after T1.
Back to the drawing board...

Oh, and does anyone else get an irritating dip in revs at about 6500rpm in 3rd gear? Is that from wheel spin or the TCS disengaging? I wonder if there's a way to fix this.

Unfortunatelly i didn´t own a Max drive til now, think it will last a couple of days cause of the payement burocracy @ the bank. 👎

But i hope we all have a good fight @ the track. 👍 :)

Ten more laps and I improved my T2 by 0.1 (1'04.541 for Luxy's record) but my final time by a full second.
Ok, I'm still on a slow div3 pace, but I don't think I'll be much better this week.
...
And I'm not looking forward to racing in the Nürb.

Funny....I'm just the opposite! I can't wait to get to the Nurburgring I tell you! This week's challenge is just driving me bonkers! Having to tune cars was never my forte! (Spelling?) Just put me in a plain race car & I'm good to go! :D

I hope the car CFM selects for next weeks race is at least either RWD or AWD....:)

Yes i remember that topic, it was a big especulation, but its the past. :)

Im happy with that lap tho, it was my toughest ever. Yes, i don´t have a max drive, but i ordered it and im trying to find someway to pay it cause i tried to pay @ bank and i couldn´t. I will see another way. :indiff:
 
going to the track for my first session of the day, im pretty optimistic that i will improve...

i mite decide not to submit my time with the curb cutting tho... :indiff:

i dont like the idea of cutting the curb... if it were a real race i dont think the marshalls would allow all 4 over them

but this is the WRS and thats how it goes~

Since somebody has to bring up the rear of Div 3, I'll have to admit I've yet to improve on my best time of just a sliver of a hair under 1'04 at T2.

Still haven't finished the FGT series, currently on race 13. Hopefully i'll be able to run this race on Sunday after getting a cool 3 mil and a Sauber C9.

1180 km ran so far~ teej6o4 ran some times today so that made the kmz high

4.17km being the track distance means ive done 282 laps so far :crazy:
 
Hey all, just got back from holidays, been dying to get back into the WRS, 1st time back since wk.1!!! just ran some early laps

T1 - 0'27.581
T2 - 1'03.729

i know thers at least a good second i can make up through out the lap

after another 10 laps or so ive brought the time down yet again

T1: 0'27.456
T2: 1'03.118

going to go another 10 and see if i can get into the 1'02.xxx

I forget my settings, :dopey: ,can u please write it down again, for me and for others also :) i had a go with the settings i think i had originally, and i managed to cut .242 off my time, but the finish should have been better :grumpy: i came extremely close to hitting the inside barrier on the last corner, which caused me to go airborn for a split second, and i lost some exit speed, oh well, i'm over it. also buggered up 2nd corner after T1.

completely off topic fellas.. but my bro was just stuffin around doin a lap around NY in my SRT and i noticed something and thought i would bring it up...

hold the gas and brake at the same time to get the revs up.. then release the brake and and notice the accelaration to 60km/h.... now do the same thing but in REVERSE... notice how much quicker it accelarates???? prolly already been brought up in another forum.. but hey i thought it was pretti random??
 
Damn and blast :mad:. My DFP stated playing up, throttle dropping down by 15% or so. I followed some hints and tips on the DFP pedal dramas Thread , now the 🤬 thing isnt going at all, no brakes ,throttle or steering. Seems to calibrate ok on power up but when you enter a race its all bad. Just when i thought i might cut another .5 sec off my time :grumpy:. Ive left a help call on the DFP pedal thread, but to say im annoyed right now is an understatement!!!

Well i got a chance to start on this one just then.... Im lovin the car and the track, nothing like a crazy over the top fwd car, hahaha I have one with no traction too.

Hey guys, this is my first week in WRS, and i think i'll be pulling up the rear of D2 this week unless i pick it up a little. :lol:

Anyways, the T times are
T1: 27.587
T2: 1'04.215


I can get T1 down to 27.2xx, and the last corner pretty well also, but those 90 degree corners are killing me.
