http://www.luxy.ca/wrs/leaderboard/Well I downloaded that registry fix program and it found 419 errors in my registry  only problem is it'll only fix 16 in the trial version...such is life, I've pretty much given up on this computer, it runs well enough to do basic things right now and I guess my new one is coming so I'll just persevere.

You should use HijackThis. It scans the registry and you can select and delete all the bugs and worms.... It's free. Also use "msconfig" (Start > Run) to check if any junk is running. You can turn the bad stuff off for faster boot times and it will prevent worms from relaunching itself. Works for me. I don't use anti-whatever software anymore becuase the above tools are much more effective.

Well, I definitely did better in this session... :)
T1: 15.713
T2: 36.187

Laurence, Laurence, Laurence, why do you have to make this hard for me?:grumpy:
I got the individual turns down. I only have to put them together and I'm sure I'll be pushing your time...

Update:

15.810
35.778

Didn't take many laps to decide I couldn't go without TCS.

Board Updated

Well I did get Hijackthis and I've fiddled with "msconfig" but I don't really know what I should/shouldn't be switching on/off so I ran Spyware Doctor, Ad-Aware, CWShredder and SpyBot as Malware removers then I ran the latest Norton Antivirus, but whatever is hiding in the system reappears when I reboot. I've got the full version of Registry Fix now so I'll give that a run, but I just don't care any more. I've spent the day sorting through my personal files and burning CD's and I'm nearly ready to format the little blighter and just delete the problem that way. But I think I will do as BTTW suggests and use this machine as an Internet server when my new baby arrives

Man, I've been wanting to have a go at this ever since it was first posted, but still haven't gotten to yet! I don't have the car unlocked, so I went out and bought a lowly Toyota 1.6L FWD lightweight, and hopped it up to do the series. Did the first race in A-Spec mode, and let the S2000 pass me on purpose, then didn't catch it by the end of the race, so, thinking it was just a normal race(not a championship), I just quit the race instead of finishing in second. So, no points instead of 6. I had to turn the PS2 off for that night, and came back to it last night. Ended up just using B-spec because I wanted to get it over with fast, so I could get to racing. B-spec SUCKS driving fwd cars on Sports tires. DAYUM! I tried to stick it out, but I didn't make it. Finished the series 3 pts behind the S2000. So much for an hour of play time. I'm going to hop in my RGT later this weekend and let B-spec make quick work of it. Hopefully I'll have time, I'm going to be doing "some" work on my car this weekend(Details here), I REALLY want to give this a go! And, I need to put in some race time for the JGTC. Dangit, this isn't a good week for me. GT4 wise anyway, everything else is going GREAT.

Like the cutie from Germany that is my little sister's exchange student... :dunce:

Well it looks like TCS is the way to go this week, so I've jumped on the bandwagon and beat my old lap by 0.65, so here's my new splits:

T1: 0'15.442
T2: 0'35.502

Every sector was pretty close to my limit and even 0.05 would be tough to find for me. So I'm pretty happy 👍

sup, managed 15.362/35.092, time submitted

In a league of your own there mate  .... how the hell do you do it? :dopey: ... I'm sure you have a different game :sly:

i avoided drifting on all corners, and used TCS, gear 2 for all hairpins, and tried to focus on smooth exit speed, that is the key to this combo- avoiding the tcs kicking in during the hairpins. cheers!
well, i had 0'15.734 / 0'35.875 without TCS
so i ´ll try again with it, but i thought its slower when ur drifing in that corners before T2 and in the last one?

the slow corners are definetly faster to go out

ediT: i saw T1= 15,387 and 15,372 :scared:

new time:

15.379
35.265

i am more than 1sec faster with tcs 👍

I might have another few laps on this on Sunday if thats ok with Cyril? ..... cant be having last place in D1 due to lack of effort :sly:

But if submit only once is in play then I'll be happy to accept the wooden spoon :P

:odd: i thought only soft tyres were avaliable? not SS, im sure i dont have an option for supersoft...

And ill try TCS on tonight, my current lap has all aids off..

I'm sure MrW's "ss" means sport soft ... arcade mode no supersofts on offer.

This is the best I can do. I tried for about an hour to beat these splits, but for the life of me I couldn't:

T1 '15.953
T2 '36.282

I think my last two turns are my shoe-in for a Top3 finish in Div3.

👍 This first part of the message is a shout out to Cyril "Flatout": Two week a go combo was wild, the Lupo was insane..., and this one is just a plain all out blast!! :sly: :dopey: :) I am having so much fun with this combo that I haven't stopped smilling. Alright for those people out there, I'm not worried about winning. I am having so much fun with this one. Using ASM and TCS with the sport softs, you are looking at (this is a D3 driver for those you don't know) my first lap was this: T1: 17.033 T2: 39.017.... But my second lap was faster T1: 16.671 T2: 38.288 basically finding some speed. I'm not done yet but I'm keeping this setup because I have tried the ASM off and TCS on, and I was having fun.... Doing 360s!!! :dopey: Alright back to racing then off to work... :( oh well see ya guys!

made a small improvement, but it looks like a little counts for a lot this week..

I've always accepted a second submission from people who had been submitting before the week-end. So you can indeed practice more and PM me again when the week-end is over.

I picked a good week to join up, , spent nearly two hours last nite trying to better my time, managed to shave a whopping .020 off of the previous nights times, (now got a T1 0'15.915/T2 0'36.772) both slower than my previous post but FL time was faster, just need to get them all done in the same lap??

At least we have the weekend now so I'm off with my bag of haribo to get a bit more practice in.

Anyone know how long it usually takes to get put in a division after posting your qualifying times?? Just need to get hold of a max drive so I can confirm my times.

It's usually only a couple of days. 3 or 4 max I'd say.

But keep on practising, you'll be in a division by the time the results are posted for sure. :)

Well this one I couldn't miss it, I love low friction racing since I beat the hell out of the SSR5 Wet with the Lancer TME on one of the weeklies, fun racing :)

On this one, I haven't been that fast, but I can see some room for improvement, I just need a little bit of throttle control practice ;)

Nice times Laurence5905. Before you know it, you'll be in Div2 battling with me again. 👍

I'm sure the rest of Div. 3 is hoping you're right. :)

Of course, I'm hoping that I stay in Div. 3 awhile longer. :sly:

Actually I would have done it tonight, but there seems to be a database problem when I'm trying to access my PMs. From what I remember, you must be div 2.
I'll update the drivers list and PM you when I can read my PMs.

May have a go at this one, love the track and the lil honda's are always good for a laugh, especially when my goofy @$$ is drivin' it :) 35.8 is my goal but we'll see if I can find the time.

Right after T1 there's a curb at the right side of the track. First the curb is red and white, then it's concrete gray and then red and white again. The curb is the same all the way, only the painting on it varies.

Is that grey curb area also part of the track?
