I think if you're really concerned about the lap Laurence that you could send it to someone to have a look at before submission time? I'm PAL so I can't help but there's plenty of folk who'll help if you put the call out I'm sure 👍 Otheriwse if you've taken 50 photos and can't get one that is dirty then you're probably alright :sly:

Well, put in an hour at the beginning of the week, ran JGTC thru the weekend, then picked up again tonight using TCS this time.

MAN, what a difference. Quite fun actually, and I shed time left and right (and left and right...).

Shaved off nearly 1.5 seconds in about 30 minutes.

I'm done, but very fun. Still LOTS of time left but I'm gonna hit La Sarthe for a while...

T1 15.479
T2 35.479 (strange, didn't notice the split congruity 'till just now...)

Yeah -- there's just not enough time before the deadline... Besides I already submitted it to Flat-Out.

I was very concerned about it, which is why I spent so long verifying it... I really do not want to submit a dirty lap -- but after all those really-close-up pictures, I'm 99% certain that it's good. (BARELY good is still good. :) ) It's hard to stop it at exactly the right moment, of course, but I went through it a BUNCH of times, and never could prove it was a bad lap. The chances of me having missed something are very low, I believe...

i think i'll settle with these split times:

T1: 15.647
T2: 35.952

Can't find room for improvement and that ghost is always ahead of me, my thumb is so sore, it's late and i have to go to bed now, well, see ya soon and good luck with the next test everyone

Time submitted from my only session this week of a half an hour... :yuck: Sad because I would've loved to spend more time on it!

I'm ready to submit my time. I've gone a bit faster than my earlier session, but after reviewing the lap it's as scrappy as hell! Looks as though there's at least a second left out there but damned if I can find it! :banghead:

Anyway, roll on next week. :)

Time submitted. Beat my lap I set on the very first day, just then, on the very last day.

~Sorry Colby, I've learned how to shift with my new and probably forever asymmetrical finger set-up, if you catch my drift ;)

18 times submitted so far : 6 div1, 8 div2 and 4 div3, and the only comment I can make it 'damn close'. Less than 3 seconds between the fastest and the slowest times !

May I suggest that the invisible racers who run the combos week after week but never submit (which is the reason why everybody thinks they are half-retired ;) ) stop being ashamed of posting their times ?

Edit :
Speaking about invisible things, it reminds me that nobody mentioned anything about the title of the combo this week. (Feels Like I'm) Walking on Water is a song by the british band Wet Wet Wet, which I found pretty appropriate this week.

P.S. : don't search anything hidden in week 54, there's nothing more than an assonance in the title.

SERIOUSLY!!! Jeez. I submit every week I can, even if it puts me back in the middle of D3. Unless I forget or don't run at all anyway.

I'd much rather see many people submit than less people submit and better times. That just makes me sad and gives the impression that the WRS is dying. :nervous:

Oh, and Cyril, I've never heard of them! Were they very popular?

I was refering to Cass's reply to my post about girls racing in the WRS.
I usually scroll down the page to see which users are browsing the thread and see old names who scarcely submit. I know they take a look regularly, I guess they give a try to many combos, which EXelero confirmed, but they never submit a time.

And no, the WRS is not dying. The GT3 WRS had an average of 18 submissions a week, and we have an average of 28 since I'm in charge.

Thanks a lot for doing all the hard work with the leaderboard, Mister Weary. Fantastic service. 👍 👍 👍

A quick checking showed me, that I actually never posted the splits to my submitted lap. They're very close to my old splits (and so is the final time), but I thought I'd better post the correct ones:

15.635
35.745

I never got a chance to re-run on this one :( ... It was fun the time I did put in anyway ... cheers

I hope the WRS is'nt dying off :nervous: , this was my first official week, although I wasn't too keen on the combo (sorry Flat-out but as I've said before, not played GT4 for ages,) I'm going to try and submit every week, although 11 hour work days and I'm in the middle of rebuilding my mini so spare time is at a premium lately  .

Happy with this weeks result even if I am at the lower end of division two (from what I can make out I only just scraped into div 2 anyway).

I'm sure with a few more weeks of regular practice I can move a bit further up the results. Gives me chance to get hold of a Max Drive before I start setting really hot laps :dopey: .

Oh well, off to Le Man's, good luck people!
