Time submitted.

Run a grand total of 8 races this week. Just didn't have the time.

Same here, Casio... I had to submit my time that's been on the leaderboard since last week -- just didn't have the time to try and improve upon it... So, I'll be 3rd-to-last in Div. 2 if nothing changes... At least I'm not dead last. :) (Famous last words, of course.)

EDIT: I'm gonna MAKE the time for Week 59! I love that Forumla GT car!!! I can see spending HOURS this week.

The attached file is a replay from Midfield Raceway[Reverse] - Family Cup - Event Race.

So altruistic of you Jerry

And sorry to LeadSlead for being blunt, I just didn't want to fiddle around with my MaxDrive without being certain I was doing it for a purpose, it's a very fiddly device. It appears you've uploaded a ".max" file now so I reckon all will be well :) 👍

Hey,

All good things must come to an end, and its time to leave this great competition that i have been apart of for over a year now. with the BC, and the paris comp approaching, plus the world cup, i figured it be a good time to bow out and concentrate on those events. After that, i will sell GT4 and wait in anticipation for the arrival of GT5. :)

Oh no, a legend leaves the WRS! The end is nigh.

Good luck with the Paris comp, I'm sure you won't need it. 👍

I wouldn't worry about the world cup if you're talking about the footy one, you're an Aussie aren't you. No chance. :sly:

So let me get this right in my own head.........

That's the JGTC (mid-season, and letting down a team-mate) AND the WRS you have stuck two fingers up at, in less than a month!!!!!

You must have either a really tiny head, or a really huge a$$-hole! Cos you have one inserted SO far up the other.............Maybe, judging by the size of your ego, it will be the latter!

TTFN!

Neil

**** off. i left the jgtc cos it was boring and crap, and the post earlier in this thread wasn't intended to be serious- if u havent already realized, i dont give a **** what i say in gtplanet, as i dont give a **** about what anyone thinks of me to be honest, i only come here to race this comp- which is the best competition on the web as far as gt4 is concerned, mainly cos its in english, and most if not all of the combos r enjoyable, except for a few exceptions.

so good luck flat-out with the gt4 wrs, hope everything works out well, return, when GT5 arrives, i will:tup:

and in finishing balstothweell (or whatever the **** that name is), i could beat u driving one handed with no feedback support on the dfp, in auto, and with a few notches of hp slashed off, thats how painfully slow u r

i kind of see a point there, and after lots of talks to veilside and also some other players, i realise that GT is very adictive and also time consuming. maybe, and i just wondering here, you would like to dedicate your spare time to do other things.

in the last year or so, i haven´t been able to play anything else other than GT, because my PS2 time is so limited and GT so adictive. i will not stop playing because i still enjoy this very much, but i also plan to cut my GT time after BC. just JGTC and some WRS when the week is good. i realised i was almost becoming a prisioner of the game :scared: so i think i understand why you would stop GT even though you still have fun with it.

It's sad to see you leave holl, even though I haven't been here that long compared to most of the regular competitors. We'll miss you!

GT Mode just got more interesting now....no more "must use to go fast" setups from holl :)

Good luck in Paris and in BC 👍

same here, i cant remember the last game i played besides gt4, probably gt3:dopey: or this little puzzle game called bombastic, which is this little dice game where u have to link up dice of the same number facing up into chains to score points, awesome fun in multiplayer....moving on. yeah the game is highly addictive and, last year towards christmas, i was in a period where i was on it like 24-7, i'm talking 6 hours a day, usually at night, but i'd just play it untill my eyes hurt, doing those stupid puny little liscences:crazy: i still had some sort of social life, but diminished somewhat- gone are those days though, and now i will focus entirely on paris comp. i'll put a big effort into the bc also, and give everyone in our team assistance, if they need it that is (setups, top speeds, lines, gears...everything in all 10 combos)👍

It's been a honor knowing you Dan. I hope you consider me a mate, as I do you. You've proven all there is to prove in GT4, and have a great amount of respect from all of us. (Even those who won't admit it).

GT4 is very time comsuming. I'm in my final year of highschool, so I have loads of work (Mid Year Exams in...5 days), I work part time also, and I still have to find time to run WRS, JGTC, BC, and whatever else takes my eye. I can't imagine what it would be like for someone who works a full time job and a family!

Your Paris trip hopefully will turn into the icing on your cake. All that effort and commitment so far has not been worthless, but I think you deserve some physical award too.

Good luck in Paris 👍

Well said Brad 👍 You are the man Dan, you've left a legacy in GT4 that can never be usurped. You've also been incredibly generous in helping others, I wouldn't have reached the level I have if it weren't for your assistance, so thanks again buddy 👍 No becoming a stranger though, we'd better see you pop you're head in here occasionally and of course on MSN :)

@balls: If you want to have your parting comment be so incredibly immature and childish then so be it, but I consider that incredibly poor form...really really disappointing 👎 Dan may be blunt sometimes and he may be cocky but his generosity and skill are unmatched at this and every other GT forum I've seen.

P.S. @Casio: Love the new avatar man, really cool 👍

I was waiting for another comment from you about my 'questioned sexuality'

I understand how Niel may feel. For outsiders who don't know Dan like we do he probably does come across the way. But yeah, more time could have been put into the wording  (Maybe a few more 'you're ****ing idiot, and 'you dirty asshole'!)

OK,Ok!

My comment to Dan was unfair and badly worded. I agree that he is probably the fastest driver to ever grace this WRS of ours, and I appologise for the offence caused.

It just hit a little too close to home for me, as a very long term friend and team-mate has spent the last month pi$$ing everyone on the pool team off (including partners) and being intollerably arrogant(sadly for him, totally unfoundedly) and has now walked out on the team (taking another member with him) 2/3 through a season, and completely left a 1st division pool team high and dry, 2/6th's down!

I didn't mean to sound off, or let r/l influence things on here.

All I wanted to put across was my disappointment at Dan leaving, My bad! It probably didn't help that I had had a few gargles on-top of the painkillers for my bad back, and was feeling a little depressed at the time either.

Honestly, good luck Dan, for both the BC and the trip to Paris!

Neil

So I've submitted my time for this combo, and it doesn't show me on the leaderboard. I'm pretty sure that it was a 3:02.6xx. Oh well, have other comps to attend to. Later.
