For once, I might take part in this one!
I'm qualified in Division 3, as of a long time ago :)

EDIT - After about ten laps, I've got...
Dark Elite / Division III / WRS60
T1 - 0'38.187
T2 - 1'13.813

I like this car, and it suits GVS well. Sounds excellent in a tunnel, shifts as near-as-dammit instantly and the brakes are very effective. If you go in hard enough she'll oversteer nicely too. Typical rally-car :)

Man It's been a while since my last post.

I'll just post my best T2: "1:14.3xx". I'll have to practice on this track since I dont use/like it much:yuck:

just a noob waiting on his qualifying/placement results

ran a 38.057 and 1:13.980 tho

not bad for a controller...? :scared:

a note on the concrete stuff as I am around alot of club racing on the administration/timing and scoring/race director levels:
the concrete bits on this track would be in play if this was real life. They really aren't shortcuts, just a little bit of extra track width

the concrete areas here are similar to the exit of turn 5 on real-life Road Atlanta. You're allowed to swing way out across the curb and onto the pavement beyond during qualifying, you can use it to pass, etc. And this is true for lower-level club racing like what I'm involved with as well as stuff like ALMS....

Was practising my BC race and decided to have a go at this again for a break and smashed my old time by 0.9!!!

T1: 0`37.641
T2: 1`12.181

Pretty happy with that one, maybe 0.1 - 0.2 left in it for me but I probably won't get back to it before submission time 👍

Board Updated

first session:

0:37,980
1:12,337

lets see, if i can get a 37,5 at T1
cause than a 1:11,x at T2 is possible for me

edit:

here we go

0:37,536
1:11,749 👍

MADFORCE
here we go

0:37,536
1:11,749 👍

Nice going MF.

Division 1 really is full of aliens. :sly:

Still no improvment in my times yet even though I'm now chasing my ghost with an extra 9 BHP? :odd: Not had much time yet this week, I've normally done over a hundred laps by now, I think I've managed about twenty so far.

Firing up the PS2 now, back with some better times soon, I hope.

i think did bad somewhere bad in T2 as i did the fastest(i think?) T1 and a worse-than-average T2? probably on the 2 RH before the hairpin. now Flat-out's back(ish), maybe i might be divisionised so i can submit my full time!

Nice work MADFORCE 👍

As for your "question" Floor...you can submit your race even if you don't have a division. If you've submitted your qualifier race then it will all get sorted out at some point by Flat-out so don't worry about not having a division.

Nice combo! I figured I had time to sit down for a quick stint. Lap 7 was a quick one:
T1:38.242
T2:1'12.772

And, now that in BC6 everything is legal aside from dirt pretty much, and that's how they've competed in the past I guess, maybe we should start doing this all the time because that way we won't be at a disadvantage next time when we compete with other boards. I mean, if they race like that all the time, then they have the experience of running the tracks like that. So, I vote we should do it all the time, even if I'm against it. At least our playing grounds will be more even.

Hello all,
It feels like it's been a long time since I actually raced in the wrs.
Been rather busy lately and Half Life 2 isn't sharing my game time well. :sly:

Lucky for me and the PS2, Forza really does suck. 👎
So for racing tonight I came here and to the PS2.

0'38.012 T1
1'13.854 T2

I don't expect much here. :(
Time away from gaming as well as GT4 has killed what little skill I had (hence my new running of the wrs on all tracks).

Will catch you all around.
Until the results,
-

(after seeing the leader board I may have another go :mischievous: ;) ).

got back behind the wheel again, different gearing to my last run, now on 250 instead of 240... dropped 0.4 through T2-Finish so still some time to go yet

37.665
1'12.156

well, I was wrong.
T1 - 37.5
T2 - 1:12.011

I ran a T1 of 37.398, and set a new best, but then this was even better, and this is how it ends.

aloisis goal was just he icing on the cake, japan had given up, cahills 2nd goal was world class, and probably gonna be the goal of the tournament i reckon, and dont sound so excited shockwave....!

Neue splitten! - just getting into the whole Deutschen vibe -

37.467
1'11.916

Not the greatest finish though :ouch:

Seems like a low turnout this week - for various, obvious reasons. Very happy with my time though and that'll probably be it for me - far too hot here to concentrate on anything except cold beer

final improvements, submitting in a second

went 38.343 and 1:12.952 early in the session. wasn't happy with the first sector time, kept after it and improved to:

38.000 (I've only been sub 38 2 times... and just barely, that'll work)
1:12.899
and then I finally felt like I got the last turn right :sly:

good enough for goverment work and my first weekly race series :D

New Splits:

250 gears, RM tires, no aids...

T1: 38.461
T2: 1'13.694
END: about 1.2 seconds faster than before...

Still don't see how y'all are getting sub-38-second times on T1 though...
