Last splits from me. Probably won't have time to run again before deadline so I'll PM these in later.

T1 0'37.859
T2 1'13.132

Looks like I found all my time in the first sector, I was getting annoyed with it so just attacked the first chicane really hard and ended up with one of my few sub 38 T1's. Last corner was very untidy, braked too late, ran really wide and totally missed the apex so I'm not holding out much hope for a strong finish?

aloisis goal was just he icing on the cake, japan had given up, cahills 2nd goal was world class, and probably gonna be the goal of the tournament i reckon, and dont sound so excited shockwave....!

looks like old cyril will, whenever he can refind his time for gtp, sit you up with the other cracks in d1.

New Splits:

250 gears, RM tires, no aids...

T1: 38.461
T2: 1'13.694
END: about 1.2 seconds faster than before...

Still don't see how y'all are getting sub-38-second times on T1 though...

gotta max out the first turn as far as speed out of it, gotta get on the gas early in the second "S" turn, and gotta carry some decent speed out of the long carousel sweeper :sly:

casio must be challenging cyril with his new avatar.
getting philosophic at once, eh?
any arts background over there or just a nice picture?
cheers

I did advanced art at school a couple of years back. I can't draw at all, but I got 97% on the exam at the end of the year. So unlike most students, I like analyzing art, rather then drawing it.

For those playing at home. 'Ceci n'est pas une pipe' translates to 'This is not a pipe'. It is a painting by Belgian surrealist René Magritte.

Actually. I was just trying to impress Cyril. I hope he notices!

What do you call "decent speed" out of the carosel sweeper? I'm doing 105MPH when I exit the tunnel onto the bridge there -- is that about right?

The second S-turn, I'm thinking I can show some improvement there -- but no more than .2 or so, which still won't get me into the 37.xxx range...

And the first turn, well, I'm thinking I'm maxxed out -- I'm staying in 6th gear there... Would dropping to 5th help? The fastest I've ever taken that turn was about 120MPH at the apex...

EDIT: You know what, I just realized I'm not going to have any more time before the deadline to work on this race, so forget my above questions... I'm just going to have to submit what I've got...

He puts people in their place, :sly: lol, when he does the results now.

I almost forgot to submit again. Submitting now.

Gave this another 10 laps to stop myself seeing the Multi coloured rabbits with sparkly shoes of Infineon SP.

Got some new splits for the board

T1 38.347
T2 1'14.060

Fun drive!👍

what? where? I wanna see the rabbits!! XD

Time submitted, which were my first and only lap times I posted for the week. I tried several times to beat them but it seems that I've reached some wall with that car, talent wise. Nice combo that was with fairly challenging bends and really fast portions. I liked. :sly:

Board times submitted.

As I suspected, not enough time to do any more laps before the deadline.

At least this weeks was put up early. 👍

Niel.

If, as I suspect, you are a biker, the Italian national anthem I can understand. No 46?

But I have no idea what the rabbits are about? You may need to seek professional advice on this matter.

Yup, biker through and through!

And, as for the rabbits......

Think Homer Simpson, after Chief Wiggum's 'Insanity pepper chili'!
Link here!

Then you might be getting somewhere close to my sense of humour.

Just a bit of fun! Really! honest!

lol, as long as you keep up your end of the baragin on the spelling front, we shall together, lower the standard of english back to pre-school age...

obviously flatout doesn't have the time right now to write down the #60 results.
if everybody publishes his laptimes here then i'll put them in below matrix.
i hope it's not against the rules. i think not since the deadline is long gone.
i did a meager 1.58.507 in div3.
