I'm struggling myself. I beat my previous best by 0.5 of a second, but there was a miniscule teensy weensy off in it :ouch:

Here's a tip. Pick one of the really old Skylines and just cruise round at the back. When someone laughs at your time, blame the car.... 👍

Concidering i only got DF pro yesterday, and that it's trying to rip off the thumb i dislocated last week, don't think i'm doin too badly.

Still no suspension installed :)

T1: 30.637 (I can do this fairly reliably, although I've been quicker)
T2: 58.372 (I've done 2 tenths quicker, but this was faster at the end)

My last corner was weak, so I'll not be leaving it at this run and I want to install the suspension at some point and start playing with Toe, Ride-height and etc ... but this is ... satisfactory :)

It's going pretty damn good now! This Purple Skyline '00 and me have come to an understanding and she's looking after me :P Think I may be able to run a sub 58 T2 with a little luck this weekend.

I really need to get around to putting a damned suspension in this car, but she's handling so well without it!

But what I actually meant was a sub 58 T2 ... I got all upsidedown.

How's it going for you this week anyway, SRD? You've been quiet after the stomping you delivered unto us last week.
 
Ridiculous. Whatever I did @ T3 during my lap must have been incredible, 'cause I can't duplicate that sector to save my life. Have beat it by up to .3 @ T2, then I either brake too early, too late, lose traction on exit or just something ugly. Might have to get a new DS2 by the time this weekend is up. :embarrassed:

Edit: So I just matched my T2. Exactly. Still didn't finish faster. :\

HAHAHAHAHAH! Please girl! It was just the luck of the Irish is all!
(OK! So it really wasn't that but to give everyone else in Div 3 credit...I really didn't think I'd ever get a podium finish...especially 1st...considering my driving ability and the lack of it...)

This week I've been trying to get some good quality times put together but unfortunately, 'tuning' and 'big heavy 4WD coupes' are not in my current vocabulary... :D

I'll still trying though but it's not looking good at the moment...

Will post back probably later tonight if I can and let you know whether or not you should be worried about your current lap times! hehehe!

I've dropped the suspension in and lowered the right height to around 95/100 ... on the principle of wanting slightly greater grip at the front. I haven't touched anything else, but I suspect that some toe and etc could help me improve my time even more (I've shaved off a little with just the ride height, but nothing worth posting).

I don't generally do any tuning to my cars, but for this I felt there was a lot of understeer in the car, so I increased the front spring rate to 11.5 and decreased the rear to 9.5. This seemed to work pretty well, reducing low and mid speed understeer without introducing unmanageable amounts of oversteer. I also lowered the car to ~100. Don't know about any of the other settings though, I hope I'll be able to learn better how to use those in the future. I've got to read a setup guide or something.

Yep, those are good times for a div 3 driver. Take a look at Luxy & Small_Fryz's leaderboard to see how your times stack up to everyone else.

Wow... somehow managed a 28:882 in T1. T2 wasn't too good. A few tenths left for sure. T2 was around 57:304. Felt VERY fast. I barely tuned anything. Just to get rid of some understeer.

EDIT: Even if I did win, I can't verify my replay.... Oh well..... :guilty:

How in hell did you get a 28.882? That's nearly a second faster than anyone else!

Damn I go AWOL for a few days (just got hold of GTR for the PC, and was giving it a go to see what all the fuss was about) and come back to see I'm getting hammered on the leaderboard (though nothing new about that). Still abit of time to improve my sectors. Some amazing Div3 times :scared: posted, think those guys must have forgotten to take the shopping out of the boot of the M3 when doing thier qualification runs :rolleyes:. Pulls on the GT4 helmet see ya'all at the finish line folks, Good luck 👍 .

Hey Steve, yeah, it's hard to fight for the podium when we've got D2ers and D1ers rampaging through our little division here. I'm doing my damnedest to give a good D3 representation here, but feel free to join me ... I've been missing the competition from my ususal D3ers this week :guilty:
