Well I have Holl01 beat in race 1, T1 time but I don't know how he can get a
T2 time thats is that good because i'm about 2sec's off:(.

turning left for an hour in an audi R8 is the worst part of this week.
nascar drivers are masochists.

I may be missing something but to me it looks like Holl01 got them beat (in leaderboard). I think its because Holl01 has no Race 2 splits yet.

Yeah but as I mentioned, their T1 - T2 sector is noticeably faster than holl01 (by 0.3) and anyone who can beat holl01 by that kind of margin anywhere on any track is like a super-freak :crazy:

I doubt that :sly:

:confused: But, in your leaderboard standings it's showing...

B Series Race 1
T1 0'22.166
T2 0'44.688

Holl01 Race 1
T1 0'21.673
T2 0'44.481

@NightmareHunter
First it's Angel with a el not a le, next I don't know as the board does not
make any sence to me.

@MisterWeary
Your right, I thought he had a 22:6xx and it's a 21:6xx, oh well.
Anyways here are my splits.

Race 1
T1-22:471
T2-46:793

Now if I can find out how to take the corner after T1 I think I can
get a better T2 time but I still don't know how to take it fast.

T1 0'22.166
T2 0'44.688

Holl01 Race 1
T1 0'21.673
T2 0'44.481

It's obvious holl01 is beating B series at T2, however...the track is split into three sectors right?
  1. Start --> T1
  2. T1 --> T2
  3. T2 --> Finish
And my point is that the middle sector from B Series is 0.3 faster than holl01 did that sector. In other words B Series did sector T1 - T2 in 22.522 and holl01 did it in 22.808...I don't know how to be any clearer :confused: Is anyone else able to explain my point any more succinctly?

Was perfectly clear the first time you explained (to me anyway). 👍 Just rmk700 who seems a little confused. I had noticed this too but i'm certainly not breaking any rules to get these times? I'm happy to send my replay to Cyril for him to check.

I wonder if holl01 is not using the whole run-off area (beyond the rumbles) at the right after T1? That might account for it...

That's what I'd say too, you can get an easy .3 there if you miss the big lump. However, it's dirt, not tarmac. Go ahead, drive over it slowly, you see the big puff of dust come up.

I don't think it's possible to go over it that fast with two wheels on the rumble either.

I make the assumption that Cyril assumes that part 'inside the the first right-hander' is tarmac, when in fact it's not.

I stopped the car on that section to check if it was tarmac and found it was gravel so I've been avoiding it...I might have to take a new line through that corner.

well i will have to change my line through there too then, Colby can you pull my splits from that lap until Cyril has clarified it...

EDIT: never mind, just beat my old time, doing it without cutting that corner, with slightly slower splits...

21.919
45.083

22.0 (21.8)
44.9

conclusion: holl01 is definatly not using all the track as i've caught time in sector2, and my sector wasnt anything special.

analyzing my replay, i did have a slowish T1 T2 section so the times from B series look fine to me, and from speaking to ron last night, he had a 44.1xx T2 from a 21.6xx T1 split so yeah, fine

I still don't have splits, since, I dunno. Didn't have time, not today, not yesterday. I aquired the NSX-LM only yesterday... I might do a couple of laps today. My partner has fast splits anyways ;)

I guess I'm lagging behind, with a 0'17.8xx T1... I thought that was fast, but turns out it's crap. Back to the controller I go. I'm still at the stage where a good lap shaves off a whole second...

I stopped the car on that section to check if it was tarmac and found it was gravel so I've been avoiding it...
Actually I had stopped too, and that section didn't look like dirt or gravel. I had assumed it was only dirty concrete, and therefore legal.

Oh ****. I just realized I've mixed up the tracks. I raced the NSX LM at the Stock-car, and the NSX-R Road at the Sports... I started to wonder where those 0'37s came from.

So your saying you can cut the first corner after T1 (ie in side the curb) stock track?

Iv just done a test

T1-T2 out side but on the curb of first turn after T1: 24.445

T1-T2 inside the curb first turn after T1: 22.5##

If it is legal then i missing a trick?

Alrighty, splits for the right track. Bad ones, but bad ones are better than none.

0'17.702
0'54.381

So let's quote Blackadder. Baldrick: "My father was a nun". Blackadder: "No, Baldrick, that's impossible". Baldrick: "Well, he was. Every time he had to fill out a form, he wrote "none" in the occupation-blank"

I've never noticed a gain when braking late and landing outside the rumble. I always found that a well-executed city-street-style turn produced better results.

Oh, and by the way... Is it only me, or can I get more grip on the Sports Course than on the Stock course? My T1 are much faster on Sports, for some reason. I've seen 0'17.1ers and faster, while the best I could do, even when cheating, was 0'17.8 on the stock course...

why are you using the LM nsx on the stock course?
you should be using a stock 02 nsx
And dose it matter cos we all will be running the same?
but no iv not noticed Gingida :) :)
