Well, I guess that Minolta88 is the same as Minolta_88 who raced week 66 in the GT-One at Trial Mountain, and he's a fast guy.
But I agree with Ron that 20.9 is really fast for such an early run. Angelo, I suggest you double check that you ran with +0% power. If that's the case

Been tootling around in the F1 car as of late and haven't been in here for a while and totally missed this team thing, such a shame looks like good fun too :) Knock 'em dead for me Rob!

Excuse me guy but I use the sports tyres.... I don't understand well english, excuse me... 👍

Tomorrow I prove the Race 1 with normal tyres... 👍

For now....

Race 1

T1 20.968
T2 43.265

👍

nope, cant be done mate
race 1 with normal tires and 0 percent power
21.673
44.481

could see another .15 left in the lap, mainly in the last 2 corners, my opening 2 splits were close to the limit. just managed to dive under that certain second barrier;)

I have not looked at my splits yet, all I do is work on driving as smooth
as I can with my DFP. I guess I will have to take a look:).

If the alien himself is a whole 1 second behind it is impossible.

Ignore this. Thought i was posting using my Team account. Will have to wait now before posting splits so as not to give the game away.

Hey guys, I'm back;

I've been out of internet for quite a while but I'm on 2 Mbps right now 👍

Biggest news is that I've got a DFP since yesterday and I'd like to ask you aliens some questions:

- Is it possible to drive in 200° mode in GT4? If so, how?
- Is it easier to drive on amateur or simulation mode?
- Should the power assist be on or off?

I began with a Toyota sports 800 on Tsukuba, went well. Afterwards, I took the Esprit V8 to Laguna Seca which was adorable to drive with the DFP.

The problem is that I can't control it, once the cars starts to drift, I'm out. Is this so hard because it's on 900° mode? Or do I need to turn faster?

I just don't want to be too hard on this wheel...

Anyway, expect me to re-join 👍

Wrong thread I'm afraid. There's a thread for chit chat right here.
The DFP is a rather expensive device, did you took the opportunity to also purchase a Max Drive ? That wouldn't have added much to the bill.

I've looked but no results, the only option is internet to buy it...

Oh well, it'll come some day 👍

I've looked through those forums alot but it just isn't as active as the WRS so I though in here I would get faster answers...:D

The thread I linked to is also in the WRS forum, and most of the WRS-ers take a look at it.

Man, that's a nice combo. I rather like the NSX LM one. I just learned, that braking while pointing the car anywhere but forward will cause extreme oversteer - just the opposite of the road-car, which understeers under braking (MR, like the Ford GT).

I think I'll be running race 2 this week. I've seen some 0'17 T1s...

And Cyril: Those huge areas of asphalt in the Stock-car course shortcut - are they allowed (Those huge braking-areas)? And what about the Sports-car course hairpin (which then joins both tracks)?

Im preety sure he said that all concrete areas are allowed as per usual. Well i hope anyway because ive been using them. I havent got fully into this yet. 30mins un efficient driving so far. I dont even have braking points sorted let alone fast splits
22.0 (21.8)
45.2

Not concrete... Those uber-wide asphalt areas that, while obviously not part of the track, aren't separated by a rumble-strip either...

All tarmac areas are ok. So you can go wide in the hairpin before T2 on the sports car track. As long as you don't go wide enough to hit the wall...

Look at this times on Race 2:

T1 17.506 17.362 17.261 17.329 17.410
T2 52.821 52.915 52.924 52.743 53.076

And I've managed to get my fastes lap in the last race, with that T2 53.076...

Did a try at this, yep, a try.

Conclusion: Meh, WTF?

To push it, the DFP is so hard, oh well, I'm probably just a dumb newbie anyways

Is it sandbagweek? :D

Where are all the team splits. :mischievous:
