as some others i used rmk's setup including the tricked tranny - tho my previous fastest lap was based on auto 25 - and i got a slightly faster lap. but my t's were slower. never mind, i'm the red lantern holder as it is anyway:

Well, my old time, I just came up with a new one:
T1:21.689
T2:42.476

As it turns out, the last 20 or so laps I did were almost impossible to beat my other best time with, because, upon entering the settings screen, I found out I had 276 HP. I had a good setup, to improve my handling, but I couldn't get a fast exit speed. A simple oil change changed that, and I found it rather easy to improve my times, but don't think i'm done yet ...


Just so you know, I am loving the WRS. I used to race every once in a while in time trial, but it was boring as I had no competition. But when you're trying to beat other people's times and have to push your car to it's absolute limit, the exitement is infinite.

Or if like me (using a DFP), I found it annoying to have the ghost on/off on the 'up' direction.
So I switched it in the options menu to 'down' on the d-pad, and put reverse angle on the 'up' direction.

That way I can very quickly check behind without any effort with my left thumb, but switching on/off the ghost requires a little thought, so i can't do it by accident.

Just an option!

This is my first week in the WRS. Im a full time student and work a full time 3rd shift job so my GT time is pretty limited. I got out of work early today so I thought I would go for a few laps. Though, I should be sleeping every chance I get, I can't hold out any longer... I have been throwing random settings at the car to see how it reacts. Its my first time in this car, and I haven't been able to dial it in yet. I prefer using my own settings but so far...I'm stumped.
