FL 00.076 faster...Faster's better I suppose.

The only problem is I ran wide coming out of the final hairpin before the final drag up and over the hill to the line, I went past the rumble strip in the tunnel and onto the area that looks like tarmac beyond it, I'm assuming as it's tarmac it's legal?

Not going to be around for the next few days so I'll get my last session in tonight. 👍

All concrete and tarmac is legal Darren.

Gonna be close between us, as usual. Maybe I'll have another go at it later too. We'll see, I'm having to struggle round Laguna Seca in the JGTC with low power and high weight, so that's taking a lot of my GT4 time up.
I am second in the driver's championship at the mo, so it must take priority cos I want to do GT500's next season.

Got some faster splits for the board!
T1 21.845
T2 43.332

Got a lap that is faster to the line, and beats the second barrier I have been aiming for handsomely, but the T2 split is 0.04 slower!
But concidering that a car length is 0.051 @ 198mph at the test course, 0.04 at these speeds is considerably less distance than a car's length. So I'm not overly fussed.

Don't think I can beat these splits, or the faster lap time, so going to submit, this has got to be my best showing for a while.

Thanks Cyril, it's a fun and demanding combo, makes for a good break from Laguna!

These are my latest splits but i have at least .5 i can get out of it yet me thinks

EDIT: Another 15 min with rmk's setup, very sweet indeed well done man!
Now I'vem got more in me as I stuffed the end by .2 or so but that is because, well I'm human what can I say, lol...had to stop prematurely cuz I gots'ta eat. With the F1 series and me not even beginning to do any actual races yet I may be out of time and can't even put in one lil' hour, there goes life...

Well I have heard that holl01 does not like GTmode much, as for the
other div1 driver's I don't know. With out them the board look strange.

O well I decided to trade sleep for GT I straightened out my bad ending sector actually I lost .4 at the end not .2...ouch. But I did leave .1 out there in the sweeping left (.1 slower T2, meh no worries) but I'm done and NEED to get in the F1 car this weekend. Great combo Cyril, truly enjoyed it.

Yeha! I can break my barriers. Shockwaveracing's setup works like a charm, and taking that LSD off helped, too. I've improved the total laptime by 0.5 without even improving the splits, and on other occasions, I managed to get clean 0'21ers on T1 - I usually screw it up by T2

i was upset at another run i did with faster T times that i screwed at the hairpin. T2 was insanely fast about 1 tenth faster than this one... it made me sad =[. but anywho i can still improve so im gonna keep at it =D

ATTENTION: BE SURE TO CHANGE OIL!
if you notice your car isn't able to keep up with your best lap, let alone beat it, then I suggest you check the settings screen to see if your HP is at 290. If it's not, then it's time for a trip to GT Auto.

ummm TIP: Do not buy cats every time they lose power... reset your PS2 and make sure to set autosave to save everytime you switch cars... soo yeah there you go.

Ren-tech: For sector two, umm ok. the double right hander you want to brake just after the strips on the side starts, you want to turn in while braking, but dont go too far to the apex you wanna stay a bit on the outside for the first turn. I brake down to about 120-115 then back on the throttle and turn in to the apex of the second right hander, be careful not to get wheelspin there or youre pretty much screwed, if you hear your tires getting out of hand just adjust your throttle so you dont lose it.
next the sweeping left, this ones a little tough but one thing you dont want to do is slow down and coast. you want to go in brake and get on the throttle. so yeah thats sector two. I'd explain how i take that sweeping left... but i really dont know how to explain it.

Here's a tip to myself: Stop driving other cars before restarting. Now I've got two Cats with 1000KM on the clock. Oil couldn't help them anymore.

I'm beating my own splits by far (0'44 is considered a lot in my opinion), but my ghost has this uber-awsome hairpin which always beats me, even if I'm 0.5 seconds infront of it.
