My English exam is in 2 days. But WRS is much more interesting!

Yeh the English exam is going to be my first one, i can't believe it's only 2 days away. I do agree that the WRS is much more interesting, yet i can't seem to convince anyone else in my household that it should come before studying...oh well.

Anyways, I've studied enough for today. So what else to do but have another GT4 session. Knocked 1 second off my time...i can still see more time coming off it though.

T1 - 35.569
T2 - 1'18.277

These are your final exams? Good luck boys, you’ll live through it. ;)

Yeah. I don't see the point of studying for english. It's a pretty easy subject, I know my texts and I've got pretty good marks through the year on it.

Which is exactly the reason I'm going out and getting smashed tonight

Curious. Which texts are you doing?

Good luck on the exams Brad...

I'm left to suck my exhaust-gas here? I gotta get some laps today, if I get a chance.

First laps on this combo. Four sickeningly dirty laps then this one. :embarrassed:

T1 0'35.566
T2 1'20.522

Still dropped a third wheel onto the grass on the first flat out turn at the end of the start/finish straight but I'm expecting a much quicker lap once I learn the car/track combo a little better.

Grip levels are going to take bit of getting used to after last weeks race...N-tyres, you're a wicked man Cyril. ;)

EDIT:

T1 0'35.935 (Lost a lot here for some reason? I'll get it back) :dopey:
T2 1'19.631

Darren.

I’ve only done about 5 laps. None clean. i’m not enjoying this so far… :indiff:

I'm not having much luck with this one. I think I'm gonna dust off my old DS2. I'm not very good at countersteering with DFP.

T1: 37.783
T2: 1'22.073

A very frustrating but enjoyable combo, the car is very light and it's very fast, even with such low power. The DFP is really killing me here. Without any aids, this is impossible, with TCS, it goes better. But still; the chances of a slide are enormously high, forcing me to add the ASM as well. This thing holds me off ever so much, you can just feel how the ASM destroys untill you feel, you're literally dying. I know I can improve alot, I just feel it. I might use my DS2 this week, but then, it's less fun, though not slower. And, sliding is much easier to correct...

The track itself on the other side, is astonishing. The first right hander immediatly takes you by going in flat out, the most stunning thing about this corner is that when coming out, you immediatly go into the far more slower and sharper left hander. What I like to do is driving like I'm drunk here, flat into the fast right corner, sweeping in one move into the left corner, ever so aggressive, you get he feeling you're trying to pull something stupid in hope to do a 90° drift. The next connection is just as much fun as the first ones. Though it goes slightly to the right, followed by a left, longer left, I take these two in one line so that you get a feeling like: "Ahh, yes yes yes!". The next combos of corners are quite silly, followed by a dumb tunnel. The hill after it though, makes you thrumble! This whole combination after the tunnel can be easily taken flat-out. Then, the remaining pieces are becoming quite boring, untill you get into the left which guides you towards T2. But after T2, oh dear me, how boring...Execpt for the very last left corner, which is biiig and longgggg.

Anyway, one sweet combo 👍

I don't use any TCS or ASM, of course, they just remove the spicy touch from this combo :)

Well, I'm not sure wether you're using a DFP or DS2 on this, DFP probably. Maybe you are good at drifting with it, but me? No thank you

Dan shouldn't that be 34.644 and not 24.644 and Charger are you using the right car or tyres. The splits you posted are very very quick???

I'm happy since this is probably the last time I say this :
@ Charger : you're certainly using the wrong tyres. There's no way someone who qualified in div2 can be 0.7 faster than holl01.
It's simply impossible, since Dan wouldn't have posted split times if there were an easy 0.7 to shave off.

Board Updated

Nice lot of splits so far, keep 'em coming guys.
My splits after about 30 minutes with DS2, DFP is dead.

T1-35.031
T2-1'18.874

Not too bad really, I feel a fair amount more yet :mischievous:

Got me some new splits, they don't look like much but 7 tenths at the line ;)

T1: 35.108
T2: 1'17.985

ps. i think i still lost 4 tenths before the finish

Going over the hill after T1 is brown trousers time in this car...

managed:
35.337
1'18.453
very poor finish though.

👍 to the combo - lots of fun.

Ren's update

T1: 35.282
T2: 1'17.809

and .775 fast than my old splits on the finish line

Small_Fryz checking in..

1st clean lap.

35.235
1'17.971

Loosing time in all places as normal. Buggered if i know how fast i can go this week. I generally suck at this track.

Edit..

35.081
1'17.792

Improved at the line by .8!! Really nailed the last sector i think.

C'mon Fryz! You can do better than that! Just pretend it's the Abarth :sly:
j/k mate. But you better bring your stuff this week, 'cause there's no way you'll catch me and my old DFP!

Dont count ya chickens before they hatch!

That last sector is mighty tricky and your only .3 ahead at T2.. :dopey:

i'd say the dfp has a slight edge over the ds2 particularly in t1, but u have to be quick with ur counter steering in the fast hill section after T1, all in all a very fun combo, common hotboi post some splits!

34.342
1'15.743

ds2, best lap i have accomplished ever in GT, what a time to do it on flat-outs final race:)

so much for using "just" DFP this week... :sly:

that is one smouldering time you have set there... i have no idea how you are so fast between T1-T2?!?
