Nice there!👍 I figure you would beat your time at least by 1 second using DS2... that's a huge advantage over DFP

I'm about one second slower with DFP and another second slower when in 900 degree mode. (compared to my time with DS2 not Dan's :-)

Last sector isn't pretty after a wiggle just after T2, but it stayed clean and submissible, which is the important bit!

"Taking a French leave" - interesting title, does that mean we all get 8 weeks vacation or whatever you French folks are up to nowadays?!!!!

Fab-o Combo 'Cyr-o' me-o likey-o mucho. Spent about 15 min today just to see what all the fuss is about and its a great car on a challenging track, so far I've manged a 1:17.9 with prolly another second or so if I hit those double rights and double lefts well b4 T2 lol. This car I think is not about braking but throttle control and countersteering. The car is nice to drift when braking and turning it just takes practice to perfect it and "Be The Ball...."

Gosh, my GT4 disc(s) gave up on me, just now. The old one, which didn't work for a while, then did, then didn't again, doesn't even get past the main screen, and gets stuck when you enter "Arcade Mode". The other one gets cleanly into El Capitan, but once you exit the current lap (re-start, whatever), you get - a new DRE. So no splits so far, but I'm the only D3 so far, too...

Hope to get it fixed ASAP, but I haven't got too many hopes...

The funny thing about the expression "To take a french leave" is that the french equivalent is "filer à l'anglaise", which means literally "To take an english leave".

On a side note, I only have 5 weeks vacation each year but never have time to take them all. So I'm actually having 3 or 4 weeks only and I'm happy with that. As you probably already noticed, I just can't stay idle.

Hell freaking yea! I was thinking the same thing last night! We might need to take it a step down on the tires though even, because we'll have less power and will need to keep it challenging... Normal tires anyone?

If you're looking at someone's ghost data, is there a way to see what tires they used?

Yes there is, when the replay starts it shows the power and tyre compound, e.g
500BHP RS/RS
This equates to 500 BHP and Racing Soft tyres on both front and back. Sometimes normal tyres show as RD/RD.
You will also notice that replays show no weight, so the weight is always -10% (or minimum in GT Mode) to prevent cheating.

I'll be happy with atleast -.8sec off on splits.

And they also don't show any upgrades made in GT Mode, therefore all races (at least under Cyril's reign) were "all non-power upgrades allowed" (including Nitro). And any top-speed, too.

Ahh, Nitro was never allowed normally. You can tell it is on a car by the speed increase, and I think it shows on the display too. I think I may be wrong though?

Also, Sonzilla - Don't ever be disheartened by being seconds behind Dan. Div 1 drivers are nearly always 1.5 or more seconds behind him. He's unstoppable, plus he says that this week he has had his best EVER GT4 lap.
