Well... You guys are somewhat "new" to the WRS. You just happened to come in at a time where this is what we're doing right now. Next week we'll have some sticky. Look at the past weeks and you'll see that we recently did a muscle car race that covered pretty much every muscle car out there. You'll also see that we do race race cars as well. Just wait for next week! 👍
Yeah, my first week was a super-sticky, super-tough Week 66 - Toyota GT-One Racecar. The next was a rally-week on a track that took ages. The next was highly-overpowered V6 roadcars. Then a week in an understeering racecar. So much variety
Well, I can certainly see the point in it! It's fun to race around in something that's not always meant to be raced around in. I drive a Volvo, I love to drive it aggresively, I'd love to autocross it, I'd love to turn it into a race car. It's fun! Using street cars can bring us the fun of driving our own car around a track, as opposed to racing around some multi million dollar car that we'd never have a chance to drive in real life. Granted, that's what makes using those cars fun as well! There'll be a time, there'll be a time. Just patience. I must say that I do enjoy the street cars as well though!
Wait 'till I get my licence, with that Greg-style Peugeot 306 1.4l Twin-Turbo W16. Sedan.
I agree with C-H-A-R-G-E-R as well, for times to times to try some stock cars, that would be ok... but for racing there is cars that fits better that porpouses, I can't understand why so much people even care to try to race with non race cars...
Why race cars are use in real races?
What is suppose to do with stock cars? Shopping... go from Point A to point B, not really racing! I can't understand the logic of trying to call a race using stock cars, sorry!
I'm agree with Charger!!!So many cars and we drive MINI!!! It's isn't racing!!!!
Wait 'till Darren sees this. If you don't get 3 links pointing to different series done with usually-slow/everyday cars, I'll give him a negative *
tick*.
EDIT: MINICOOPER:
Seller: "The Frogurt is also cursed"
Homer: ""That's bad"
S: "But you get your free choice of toppings!"
H: "That's good"
S: "The toppings contain Potassium Benzoate"
(Thanks MINICOOPER)
H: "Huh?"
S: "That's bad"
And to finish this mega-post, could anyone help a bit with the hairpins? I can't get the last one sorted. For the first, I go from the outside gradually inside, still full-throttle, and when I get to the most inside, I brake to ~60-63KM/h, and accellerate while gradually increasing the radius of my turn - I've seen 0'25s that way! For the second, I used to have a line, but I can't repeat it anymore. The last hairpin still gets me. Do you brake early and go around the rumblies, brake late and turn on the left, to create a longer straight, or do you brake into the corner? Same with the second one.
