GT4 WRS Week 86: "T Minus 10-9-8..."

If I missed the total time after I finished the race....how the hell do I find it again? I saved my race, but when veiwing the replay, the total time keeps ticking even after the race is finished.

Also, since any street sport tires are allowed, are we allowed to change this up between the front and rear, IE, mediums in rear, softs in front. etc....

First time through with S3's all around
1. 49.328
5. 42.825
9. 41.621

If you saved the replay, you can go to where load it in the replay thing in GT mode.(but don't load it)
Then the total time will be at the top of the replay. And thats all there is to it.

If I have some time in the moring, I'll will get a time. It most likey won't be very good, but I'll do my best. So that BigRacer has some one to compare to.

Laters.

PS. I don't think it'll mader much if you chang the them. But you should ask MisterWeary first.

Yup, cause of me being well, me and oversteer happy.

Though you will likely run better times with S3's all around, I've been fiddling with S3/S2, and it turns better, but overall is a little slower I think.

I don't think im gonna run this week, iv only manage to to pass the Ai once cleanly. Only to find out that i cut a corner just and iv had my fill of the Ai now. My best lap so far was a 40.630 but no use to me :(

The WRS can be a very humbling experiance if you are use to just use to winning against your friends. No one I know in person can keep up with me, but here, I am just middle of the pack You learn alot, and you'll push alot more. Its amazing when I consider how I was driving a couple of years ago compared to now. You improve alot in this enviroment, so just stick with it a bit.

This is true for me as well. I could beat the people I raced with like they where
nothing unless they had a faster car. But when I got here I could barely keep
up with the top of div3. So as Azuremen said, just keep at it and you will get better.

Me too. My buddies aren't exacly drivers (when they do play PS2 games, it's fighting-games), and so far, the ratio was Ginetta-Elise111R. I had to get myself a major handicap to get a close race, or spin out intentionally. Two of them improved, though - one kept up with me in an SUV Rally-race (1 second difference!), and the other one lost by 0.170 yesterday, in a Pontiac GTO Coupe Vs. Shelby One Series S/C. Funny thing is, he lead by a bit, but spun out on that last corner of Trial Mountain - he crossed the line spinning. We were door-to-door throughout the 2nd half of the lap.
I knew, however, that my times were no good (at first), and actually asked Cyril if he'd open up Div4 for me.

hey i qualified in Div 3, but racing here long enough (and perhaps not putting much effort into the qualifier :sly: ) you can get quicker...

At first I was going to blow this off since was pretty busy last week, there are too many combinations to try, & the no AI contact rule ends up ruining a lot of runs & eating up a lot of time. I ended up finding some time this weekend though...
L1: 0'50.556
L5: 0'43.381
L9: 0'42.914

LMAO! Damnit! That's my first drunken typo... Although, I don't think I was all that drunk anymore... I usually catch that kind of stuff even when under the influence though! DOH! I'll leave it for the sake of things... :)

Agreed, I spent a good hour trying to get in a fast clean lap, but the AI always bumps you in some way, some how..... If you don't get a good fast first lap in....your time is basically going to be garbage....

South Lyon eh....I'm about 20 minutes away in White Lake!

I got another clean race start but I got so excited again that I drove like an idiot for 8 out of 10 laps. Lost at least 5 seconds in total.

New splits:

47.828
41.480
41.296

Total 2'10.604

I found a good lineup (+6 Sport medium) so I might give it another shot to get those 5 seconds back.

Charger - I can't wait to see that first lap :-)

Yeah, that was fast, but I got lucky with AI. I don't know how it had happend that time but they were exactly there, where I can pass them with no time loosing... I'm so afraid to turn off console, 'cause I think that tomorrow they won't be so "polite" to me)))

Improved a bit:
L1: 0:46:222
L5: 0:41:311
L5: 0:40:901
Total time: 2:08:434

But there are problems with stability...
I'm sure that Colby run every his lap at 0:40:6xx-0:40:7xx, while I stil see 0:41:0xx-0:41:3xx. But there's still time to make it better, so good luck to everyone who's brave enough and have courage to run this so "restartable" combo)

The Ai BEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just had a clean race til the last lap when one of the Ai hit the wall and spun out in front of me :( :( :(

ps, every lap was under 41's except the first

Nope. I didn't have the time to get a time.:( Sorry every one. It's like I let you all down.:(:banghead:
I was going to take a picture, but in making my pot holders, I poped my thumb out.:ouch: And had to ware a thing to keep it from moving. And I'm right handed, and I poped my right thumb out, so I couldn't do anything today.

So, I'm very sorry. For letting you all down. I feel so bad, and I don't know why.:indiff:

Hi...

GRRRR,, AI=:yuck:

Finaly got a consistant average lap with those AI´s as spectators:sly:

L1 0'47,727
L5 0'41,593
L9 0'41,736

Hope its somewhat good enough...

TIME SUBMITTED...

had a time slightly quicker but it had a corner that i wasn't 100% of so i submitted my fractionally slower time... great race this weeks one!!!

Lol, anything against putting the AI on economy tires? lol, we'll see how this plays out...

Finally got a halfway decent lap, I think I used setting 2 with super soft tires, I lapped three of the cars too, just got lucky it was all on straightaways.

Still baffled on how you guys are getting such fast first lap times.

1. 48.399
5. 41.447
9. 41.654

I tried AI+10 on N1s, with a pretty hilarious consequence. I reckon it's a good idea, since they are quicker than the +0 AI, but rather than bumping your back and making overtakes difficult, they spin and go wide on most corners, giving you a free pass against those Corvettes and TVRs

Yeah, I did as well, now I'm running around with the +7s on N1s... I may stick with this for a bit further, then maybe stick'm on S1s...

I'd think on S3s and +10 they'd still be in the way. Maybe. I'm not THAT fast on this track, so maybe not. I'll give it a whirl.

OldDriverDan did that, and had to simply follow them for the whole lap. Not recommended, unless you wish to start your Div1 career as a back-of-Div3...

N1s, when they're overpowered, makes them spin out of the way, which is how I made my only clean run this week.
