Wow, very good job! I think the gold trophy is the hardest part of getting to Platinum, you should have that easy. :) Just a little more B-Spec grinding and you're there. Congrats, and Happy New Year

No way in hell I would ever get the all gold or platinum trophy. Some of the higher level challenges and License is just impossible for me...

Nurburgring 24 hours // 18 hours race and stop running and i go to sleep. But the USB keyboard to USB keyboard is pressed when i sleep. The race should run away again, 1more race is most difficult.

Congratulations on that achievement. I think that as a DS3 user the Vettel Challenge may be my downfall for Platinum.

Interesting you have the all gold trophy and have not completed BSpec, so maybe you need to complete each race event in either Aspec or Bspec rather than all of them, or as yourself Aspec only ? That is wrong.

B-spec is in progress. B-spec to complete the day is My Platinum Trophy day.

My gear = G25 & Porsche 911 Turbo // I'm not Pad user ^^*

The completist in me needs to find 0.338 at Suzuka to remedy this for my save...

Indeed. Much like the "Beginner Events" or similar trophies, it seems you get it for finishing a single Spec instead of both.

Thanks for sharing, pkdwr!

LOLWUT?
An amazing job, and I believe the first person in the world to get it!
This either shows:

1) You spend more time than anyone else playing GT5.

2) You are awesome.

im fairly confident i can get this eventually, i dont even think i'll have trouble with the x1 event, the dupe bug has helped me so i've had an X1 for ages now and have done tons of practice on all the tracks, did a 57s on monza lol and can do consistant times on suzuka i think i'll only have a tough time with nurburg.

but for me the ONE trophy i think i'll have the toughest time with is the bloody alfa competizione time trial challenge at Eiger Norwand

i swear i have spent a good 2 weeks on that challenge time wise and still can't get gold.

my best time was 0.02 off gold :(

i broke my DS3 after that time lol.

i've even tried it in my racing rig with my G25 and it seems even harder!

STUPID STUPID challenge drives me insane.

Well done pkdwr. I am more impresseed that you got your A-Spec Level to 40 before B-Spec and golded it that way. You must have made a huge effort to get to Level 40 so fast on A-Spec.

I will probably get this trophy through B-Spec first then get the final Excellent Driver trophy last (Maybe the 1000 cars one could be last).

I golded the Grand Tour all in one go, i struggled with the 8C the most though. Then I put the brake bias to 10 front and rear and it really helped me. After two attempts I got gold by a good margin of a few tenths I think. It helps me go around the corners tightly with more speed and shortens braking distances. I had TCS 0 and ABS on 1.

wierd but ok lol will give it a go, 10/10 brake bias should be interesting.

Really good effort so far. 👍

fwiw; I got as far as bronzing Vettel before xmas, and then due to xmas activities decided to start a bspec campaign. When that is finished I will go back to the Vettel Challenge and aspec. Hopefully (all fingers crossed) maybe one day I can prove that you can get the all gold trophy without golding all aspec races.

The X1 you win feels very very different from the one in the Sebastian Vettel challenge.

really? i find that hard to believe, how can they have 2 different cars? maybe its just different setup wise?

I have no idea.
But I can no longer take Degner 1 flat out anymore.
I have to brake earlier etc.
I've read on the forum that the one used in the challenge is a tuned down version of it.

HP/weight is exactly the same on the 3 versions. The prototype and the colored one however have different gear ratios. 1st and 2nd gear are very short on them. 3rd gear is pretty much like the 1st gear of the S. Vettel version, I've tried launching in 3rd gear and it still launches just as fast as the S. Vettel it seems. So corners you'd usually take in 2nd or 3rd gear in the S. Vettel you can take in 4th and sometimes even 5th. That's the only difference there is, and I think it's very annoying too. Once we're able to change all the gears seperately I'll make them the same as the S. Vettel.

I know, but we don't know the setup used for the car in the Sebastian Vettel challenge.
Even though the Sebastian Vettel challenge challenge car and the one you win are the same, they seem to handle differently.

Didn't really notice a difference between the S. Vettels from the challenge and the one I have myself. The one in the challenge may have less HP though cause it probably didn't get an oil change. So if you did oil change with yours it's a bit faster. Don't know if there's any other difference but it feels pretty much the same to me. :P
