can't understand a word you all said, so I'm going to leave this here and expect replies about if tracks are accurate or not.

Only thing I can say is that iracing tracks are way more accurate than their gt5 counterpart, just by watching videos.

I don't think it comes down to how accurate they are, because they are all pretty accurate. I think what it comes down to is the programming style of the employees that program them. PD is good at attention to detail, but I'm sure some will agree with me that their tracks don't feel "alive". There needs to be more crowds and race-day related tents, buildings, etc. The grass, walls and the track surface itself don't look used.

They're too perfect IMO.

People praise iracing but I don't see it the graphics look pretty mediocre the tracks may be accurate but I think that if people are going to nit pick the over a few inconsistent devices on track. If people want accuracy take a loan and enter a pay to drive job lol

PC games are best known for and praised for their extreme levels of realism. Like physics and the like.

Oh you mean like GTR2? ;)

All in a matter of FOUR posts.

I don't know, I can't get into PC sims for lack of computer power.

I don't know what you're talking about but... umm... sorry?
He stopped it before it took off. 👍

today i rang up playstation support on1300365911 to ask why my gt5 dlc wasnt working and i told them my track pack wasnt letting me play the spa track so the told me to try somthing and call them back if it didnt work 10 minutes later i rang back and quoted the ref number they gave me and it was a different guy on the phone, he said "SO ur BATHURST TRACK ISNT WORKING" i said "bathurst" ? he said the maintenace has only just been done today for it u shouldnt even have that track yet. i then corrected him saying my spa tracks not working.

This is a mid post mine but I brought ps3 grid so I can get the dlc but it looks like that the dlc with Bathurst is no longer so I assume that was the mix up cause it isn't one the psn store anymore

Bathurst is a personal track with lot of relatively unknown history to people outside Australia. I really hope PD does something other than just give track as download. I would love to see two races with period cars from 70's(near end of classic muscle car era) and from 90's (near end of gtr-era) . Could just be two different cars on each races to highlight the most epic rivalries from both periods.

Touring Car Racing enthusiasts tend to know about it, and more American motorsport fans are getting to know it as well, thanks to SPEED and others. It's remarkable to think that with the exception of "The Chase" the track really hasn't changed much at all since it was built. It's a brilliant combination of long straights, high-speed sweepers and tightening up and downhill tests of bravery. Even if PD just make the track, and do nothing else, I'll be ecstatic. Surprised too, but ecstatic!

Agreed I think it would be come a online hit for the many Australian users I assume that you would see countless rooms on this track from people doing endoruo and drift

If this track is coming to GT5 as DLC, wouldn't it be great if they included these bathurst edition Audi r8's ....

Any premium R8 LMS would be great, it's surprising that it was a standard model in the first place.

Now that you mention it, a GT3 pack with 458, SLS AMG and R8 LMS would be a good idea for a future DLC pack...

And the GT-R Nismo and the Advantage V12 GT3 and the Mclaren GT3 and the Z4 GT3... and so on and on... they are all beautifull great cars and we could use some current gen GT cars in the game.

EDIT: and the R8 LMS could be the R8 LMS ultra (their new car)

This thread is in desperate need of sources. Lots and lots of sources. I'm calling bird poo poo until someone shows me an article confirming this. :)

With Nissan entering the V8's next year what's the bet that we'll either have the V8 Supercars License in GT6 or a few Nissan V8's as dlc early next year?

I'm betting both as extremly possible, Forza 4 took Top Gear from GT5 so what's to stop Polyphony from buying the license for the V8's with Nissan?

It's possible, but V8s have had a very long deal with Microsoft and Xbox - but I guess anything can be bought with the right price.

To my recollection, I don't recall them actually having a series license, just the cars. Come to think of it, I don't think anyone has had the V8 Supercars License for a game, just the cars themselves.
