- Overfinch Range Rover (Overfinch is to Land Rover as AMG is to Mercedes)

Alot of those ive never heard of, i dont know what to put them under so help me out if you posted them. Some of them look made up also "Holden Astra" and "Vauxhaull Manaro"

Motorcycles are not gonna happen. Thats like asking for NASCARs. RAlly cars dont only race on dirt, they race on pavement, snow, ice, mud, etc. Rally is probably one of the most extreme motorsports out there. What other form of racing do you do 150 MPH through forests and up mountains?

I would like to see the mitsubishi galant vr-4's again, I realy like them
I was suprised that they weren't in gt4. And I'm not talking about that break version.

how is asking for bikes related to nascars? im not getting ur comparison...imo theres no reason bikes shouldnt be included...this is essentially a simulator so adding bikes would just be another element to the game.

NASCARs in a GT series game will not ever happen, if it does it will not be anytime soon. Same with bikes. This is Gran Turismo which means Grand Touring. The game is for cars, and that only. You know how much work it would take for them to put bikes in the game? a crapload. Its basically like making a Gran Turismo Bike Edition and adding it onto Gran Turismo. Plus they haft to buy licenses, Licenses that are already owned by other ppl who make bike games. It would be about the same amount of work to get NASCARs.

The Gran Turismo Series is a driving/racing simulator for automobiles. like i said above, Bikes are not going to happen. if you want bikes then go rent a bike game.

ahh ok i understand u now :) but since this is merely a wishlist, its just something i would like to see but i wont mind if it doesnt happen. im pretty satisfied with the amount of cars currently in the game.

another addition i would say is rhys millens gto drift car!

Hey,

I'll try and find some info on the Overfinch, it definatly does exist though, they reviewed one on Top Gear:

edit: i've found a pic:

And here's their homepage:

http://www.overfinch.com/

Hope that's of use.

i believe holden, opel, and vauxhaull are all under the gm flag. opel and vauxhaull are gbs chevy dealers basically whild holden is for australia. the holdan astra is an opel astra thats sold in australia under the holden name, while a vauxhaull monaro is a holden manaro from australia being sold in gb under the vauxhaull name. someone for england correct me if im wrong but you can buy a vette from a vauxhall dealer in gb. although i think it still says chevrolet there. i dont thing theres chevy dealers in gb are there? so all that said they should go just the way he said them, the astras under holden australia and the monaro under vauxhall england.

about the bikes, i believe some people pointed it out that it wasnt just a matter of putting some bikes in the game, the fact if the programming required and the physics of the bikes are completly different so they would have to nearly program a different game to include bikes in gt5.

one last thing, fords didnt have hemis

After reading the list, these are just a few of the cars on the list that jumped out at me as I said WTF?!?!?!!!!:

Chevrolet Beretta Z26
Chrysler LeBaron Coupe Turbo '89
Chrysler LeBaron Convertable Turbo '89
Chrysler LeBaron GTC turbo II '89
Chrysler LHS '93
Dodge Aries '80's
Mercury Capri V8 '86
Oldsmobile Aurora V8 '95
Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera '95
Oldsmobile Oldsmobile Delta 88 '89
Plymouth Laser RS-T FWD '92
Plymouth Laser RS-T AWD '92
Plymouth Reliant 16v Turbo '92
Pontiac Grand Am SE '94
Pontiac Grand Am GT '99

Dodge Aries? Are you kidding me? The infamous K-Car? What are you guys smoking? Why on earth would you want to have one of these cars in GT5??? They are all examples of American junk.

None of these cars have anything to do with speed, performance, handling, style, or even enthusiastic driving. I know there are a few people out there who are enthusiasts of these cars, and I've probably offended those people. But, come on, including these cars in GT5 would be a waste of megabytes and time. And they're bloating an otherwise very good wish list of cars. Including cars like these would likely force GT5 to have TWO discs. Can you imagine having to swap discs just to load up some cars? What a pain in the butt that would be...

Don't get me wrong, GT4 includes some cars and races that certainly don't raise the hair on my neck - most of these manufacturers races seem like a waste of time other than contributing to your completion percentage.

Nothing is a bigger waste of time than the Ford and Daimler/Mercedes cars from the 1800's. And to add more and more cars and races like this (Imagine this: the "K-Car Cup"!!!) what a freakin waste of time. But, don't get me wrong, the Auto Union Streamline is an incredible car, way ahead of it's time. Cars like that should no-doubt be included.

Would be glad if u put some cars in the first wishlist...

Volkswagen Gol 1000
Volkswagen Gol GTI I
Volkswagen Gol GTI 2.0 16V II
Volkswagen Gol GTI III
Volkswagen Saveiro
Fiat Fiorino
Fiat Tempra

Fiat Brava
Renault Twingo
Chevrolet Montana
Chevrolet Opala
Chevrolet Comodoro
Chevrolet Omega 3.8 V6 '04
Chevrolet Omega 3.8 V6 [Australian]
Peugeot 206 Convertible [Cabriolet?!]

That's it! ^^

Yes, nope not kidding, i guess, i smoke marlboro lights, ill tell you in a minute.

Ok, american junk? is the Dodge Neon SRT4 junk? hell no! neither are any of those, most of them are old dodge turbo cars. Most of them are pretty rare to. I persoanlly added like 4/5 of those in the list you have above. Just about every one of them are better than alot of cars in GT4. and i see you included the Laser RS-Ts i hope you know those are 1st generation DSMs the rarest DSM ever made actually. So NO they will not be removed. They are also not a waste of space. I dont know if youve been reading up on the upcoming Playstation 3 but i have. Its expected to be 4.0-4.6GHz 8 cell Processor with a core on each cell. thats like having 8 4.0GHz processors. It is more powerful than most servers today can do calculations in TERAflops. the media Sony is using for the PS3 is the BD-ROM known to most as Blu-Ray Disk ROM. using this a single sidded single layer Blu Ray Disk holds 26GB of data. Sony plans to use 8 layer which means around 200GB per side. So lets put it together. A CPU that can do physics with ease, and a media interface of 200GB. damn, id haft to say your far from right.
Also i never said that i wanted there to be races just for these cars, just that id like to see them in the game.

For the record you are the first person to question cars on the list.

OfUnknownOrgin: No im not putting Movie or TV Show cars in the List. I dont want to see that kind of stuff in a GT game. It would be pretty rediculous. I dont have anything against monstergarage as i watch it alot, having that in the game would be literally a waste and cool for a couple minutes. ya know?

they NEED to put a few more Skylines in GT5!!!! Maybe a few more Civic variations as well......
(can you taste the sarcasm?)
really I would like to see a few more Mustangs, Dodge Magnum, Hemi Cudas, less crap like that Model T and Dalmer Chrysler thingy...

Oooooooh....I forgot to add the TechnoPro Spirit MR-S to the list! That little thing hauls some serious ass around Gansai Touge. I'm also thinking that the Boss and TechnoPro Spirit AE86's would fit in well too...they own Maze Circuit and spank the crap out of all the heavy yet more advanced cars like R34's and stuff. BEST MOTORing have great clips of all of these cars incase anyone is interested.

OfUnknownOrgin
well, how'd Jay Leno's tank car make it in? all i'm sayin is that it's possible
The Jay Leno Tank Car was built by hand, he also built many other cars that are amazing. Hes a well known car builder/collector who happens to be a late night show host. The boat/car built on monster garage is a TV Show car and has no real purpose like everything else on Monster Garage and has no reason to be in a GT game. The closest to a TV Show/Movie Car as its gonna get is the Shelby GT500 Eleanor car. Its under a different name, but there is a place that mass produces those and are very performance oriented.

For the record you are the first person to question cars on the list.

I never said the SRT-4 was junk. It's far from it. Actually, there are a lot of those that can smoke my Evo 8 in the quarter mile because they still had money left over for factory-warranted mods, whereas I have no money left for mods and if Mitsubishi catches any mods on my car, they void my warranty. But, put those same two cars on a twisty track and I am long gone. Still, the Dodge is an impressive machine and I have nothing but respect for it.

The turbo cars on the list...yes, you are correct, those are pretty rare. I just saw "LeBaron" and was like WTF??? This is a racing game...you can't race a LeBaron!

But, those other cars, the Oldsmobiles, the Berettas, the K-cars...I can't see any reasoning for putting those cars in the game. The only way I'd use RARE and K-CAR in the same sentence is to say "It would be rare to see a K-car still able to operate on the roads with a vaild state inspection sticker." This may be nit-picking but you'd have to pay a programmer to model those things, get the driving physics right, and for what? So a few enthusiasts who own those cars can say "My car is in GT5!"??? Would you actually race the thing? Do you race the 1887 Daimler Motor Wagen? That thing might win against some of those on my list.

I will concede to the fact that there are already a ton of very slow and pointless cars in the game, most of them Japanese and us Americans have never heard of them except for this game. I'd like to see more meaningful and historic cars in the game rather than the cars I listed. And a lot of the cars I want to see are already on the list. The list is very comprehensive, I'll give it that!

If I am to be known as the first to bash the wishlist, oh well. It had to happen some time.

And thanks for the info on the new PS3. That's some serious power in that thing, if it turns out to be true. I seriously have NOT read anything about it because a lot of it is still speculation. I am a newly-converted PS2 guy, got mine for Christmas and now I'm addicted. I'm not sure how I held out with the Xbox for so long.

Anyway, hope this makes you feel a little better.

Peace.
