The custimization should be similar to that of GT4... it was still very sophisticated, Forza's custimization was too arcady, which is not GT's style

Damage and bodykits what more do you want! I already can see my self drifting a R32 GTS-T with a BN-sports kit around Ebisu!

I don't see how it's "arcady", all the parts except for the Forza parts(race style body kits) are available in real life. Also it is amazing how realistic people can make cars, their tons of really good looking race cars. You really should play the game before you rush to judgment.

Only if you can only customize the looks. Even then, I wouldn't want to see a spoiler on a ferrari. It would be great, if you could put the engine in the middle of a Mazda or something, but you really can't upgrade a ferrari. That's why I think they should only implement full customization on the cheap cars. Then, they should narrow the variety of the customizations till just the paint job for the super cars.

What's wrong with wings on cars, they are critical in racing to provide downforce.

Ferrari's own race/track versions have wings (spoiler) on them.

I am NOT talking about the fact that you mustn't put spoilers on the ferrari, but I don't want to be able to tune a car and then send it to Top Gear as " The most ridiculous tuning on a car".

^ Then don't do it. Problem solved. ;) However, please don't be like some of the whiners who say, "If pink and orange colors can be touching each other, it will be baaad because my eyes will be all like PAIN!"

I think drifting is ignorant, personally. But what's in Prologue? And people are clamoring for touge too? Would I be a tard for getting into a drift server and throwing a disruptive fit, trying to school these guys on how eevil and heretical they are for not racing like Andretti does it?

Race modding cars, or creating semi-pro tuners, whether it's a Mustang or a Saleen S7 involves aerodynamic body kits. You really just need to get a grip, take a breath, and realize what the subject is, and what it means.

Gran Turismo fans and devotees have always seemed to have been a much more mature, true simulation loving crowd. I doubt we'll be seeing half as much "rice" styled modifications to cars even if it becomes available in the game. I sure if you put up a poll with two photos, one of a GT class Le Mans racer and one of a highly modified "tuner"-style import of some sort, the GT car will get the higher score from the GT community.

But in the end, i would LOVE to see full body, paint, and sticker modifications available in GT5.

By the way, I was thinking of doing a car in a blue, gray and white scheme remotely like the Tafel Racing Ferrari. If I can wake up some evening from this stupid job of mine, I really need to paint up some cars.

Personally, I think PD should take a leaf out of EA's book and include something like the Autosculpt feature, except that players should have a chance to tune the parts to better aerodynamic potential. Something like a wind tunnel while tuning, along with an air current diagram would be really cool...

Why do you think a game which is so heck bent on authenticity would have such a cartoony feature? Even Forza 2 didn't have something like that, and I doubt any serious racer ever will. Nah, give us name brand body kit parts, as well as some Polyphony designed parts.

All I want is to be able to make a clean awesome GTP livery so i can apply it on all my cars!!
