- Players will be able to smash their cars to smithereens all the way down to a single bolt during a NSCAR race (most likely in WRC as well).
* That is very cool. The way NASCAR should be, but I hope all cars have at least FM3 body style damage.. Not to mention ALL cars should have Mechanical damage, as well Internal like suspensions, brake fails, etc etc..
- His team have implemented improved body roll physics (the swaying motion when you turn left and right and most likely roll over as well)
* Roll Over FTW!!!! (during a race For the LOOSE! haha) YES!!!
- Kaz said the PS3 is the only console powerful enough to run GT5's physics and that a good PC would struggle to run it.
*I agree, I have a GOOD PC, and I can not run game as iRacing and it wont look as good as GT5 does on my 300 Dollar PS3!
- He mentioned something about efficient streaming of physics data using the PS3's Cell Processor and how it would work over the internet (meaning Online)
* The smoother the better, I remember he mentioned this once they were working on the PSP game, that they learn how to manage all the data much more efficiently
- He went in to more detail explaining that with improving Broadband speeds they are able to let more players race each other online.
* More players? So does that mean over 16 player races? Or does that mean more 16 player dedicated servers will be out there? The more the better!!! imagine a 24+ NASCAR race, or a LE MANS!!!!!
- He says that wall bouncing & spinning was a major problem in Prologue but it'll be fixed 'for sure' before GT5 releases.
* YES Finally after.. lets see, GT1, GT2, GT3, GT4, all the other GT games they made!
- He mentioned something about GT5 featuring an Auction house that will enable players to get hold of rare cars (rare cars probably means GT5 cars that are only available in other regions).
* Auction is great, I hope you sell and buy Tunned cars that have saved suspension and gear adjustments. I hope to see some small body kits models and livery editor. That would have been perfect.
- Again he has confirmed that GT5 will feature 20 Tracks.
* 20 tracks, over 70 variations. I wont complain, In GT4 I never RACED all that much anyways. It will be better for online as well, because we will learn all the 20 tracks with 70 variations much quicker; therefore better experience with other players (if they know how to drive each circuit).
- Day & Night has been confirmed but not all tracks will have it which means there'll be no dynamic Day & Night cycles (but there's still a possibility)
* Maybe its going to be DYNAMIC for only the tracks confirmed? DLC should fix it if we complain a lot about it!
- There's going to be new updates for Prologue up until GT5's release.
* That is good, as long they improve to most recent physics, maybe add damage, I will be happy. Oh and private room support with voice chat.
- There's going to be support for microphones during online play.
* I hope it has a SEPARATES button for a voice chat. I like to talk with no buttons as well, but when i have my surround sound blasted, I do not want to bother other players.
- He said that Pit crews will be fully implemented and ready in GT5 when it releases.
*ready when it releases? Maybe stuff like this was holding GT5's release date?
- The game will have region specific cars (as I said before the Auction feature is most likely there to get hold of these cars)
*Something like FM2, but you will be stuck to the region you live in, just like in real life. oh man.. getting some rare Skylines, or Rare Ferraris will be even more expensive and more rare then in previous GT games! YES! I love stuff like that, will make much more fun for CAR HUNTING
- He said GT5's release date will be coming soon.
* Soon, soon, soony.. I hope its before E3, and not just a week before, maybe this month!!!!
