I agree with you... but then again, Sony and PD usually don't meet their own dates either. So I'd just wait for a tracking number from amazon.
If Sony/PD don't change their marketing ways, they will have numerous delays for GT6 too to the point where it is not funny anymore.

I feel the same way. There is just little to no info about this game being shown. Which is not a good sign at all. I highly expect this game to get bumped to 2011. Then after that we can just forget about it until the PS4 is released.
PS3 is the last playstation for me, I've been moving closer to just going PC only for my games due to the fact i bought the ps3 for gt5 and haven't found much else worth playing.

I don't remember in the GT4 days if that game got delayed similarly to GT5.
I simply don't care about the release date, I completed GT4 for the second time since I played it on 2006 and soon *hopefully* I will be getting a PS3, so this holiday season would be GTA: Episodes, Mafia 2 and NFS Hot Pursuit, GT5 is not even on my list.

We just asked Kazunori Yamauchi, the father of Gran Turismo, in an interview here at SEMA, the question on everyone's minds — when will GT5 finally be released? His response: "The discs are being stamped as we speak."
The picture above is Kazunori making a disc-stamping motion with his hands as he answered our query on the ever-shifting release date. We did talk about a number of different topics other than the release — and we'll have more coming shortly — but for the moment, we thought we'd at least bring you that response.
