News section shows all different kind of event where GT5 is playable.
Just want to add that it's also playable at the Firstlook event in Holland(Firstlook is the TGS/E3 of holland).

Firstlook started today.

A videocoverage off that event will be online on http://www.gamekings.tv later this day.

Car and track lists are the important things to check on these demos guys.;)

I don't even care any more myself, in a tad over a month all will be revealed to me (everyone) in person. Just biding my spare time with other things for the time being :D

I don't care about car list. I want to be surprised by them in game. But track list? Hell, I'd love to see where we will race. Also photo travel places list would be awsome.

Hi¡
I´m going to be at the Gamefest (First International Videogames Show in Madrid, Spain) the next 8-10 of October and GT5 will be there for sure.

+1 Abraxas...I do want to save most surprises for 2 Nov...taking the rest of the week off to immerse myself.
The local Gamespot has the Tokyo demo, but has no wheel so it's not really possible to get a sense of the physics changes. The graphics are still far better than previous versions.

Id love it see a full car and track list. I still feel at this point they are keeping a fair bit from us.

Couldn't have said it better. Part of the excitement for me is not knowing everything, and that goes for cars, tracks, game modes, mods etc.

Which leads me to the question; why would you be on the internet, on the predominant western GT5 website, in the forum, in a thread regarding possibly the very latest information about the game at a show happening now?

Maybe you guys like the danger, will I look, wont I........ahh the excitement :nervous:

Agreed!

If the old VWs are in the demo, and someone can get me decent footage, with the color selection and all, I'll give you not just an e-cookie, but an e-cake!

GREAT first post!👍

I'm sort of torn myself. I really want some goodies, but at the same time, it would be such a HUGE rush experiencing GT5 on launch day (night) only knowing what I do now. So I keep coming here, playing russian roulette in a sense, and hoping that if there's a post with blockbuster news in it, I stop reading in the nick of time. ;)

I will be there on Saturday (tomorrow) making a bee line for the GT pods (Yes they have both look on Eurogamer site for pics of first day).

Right! sorry i've abondoned this thread! Wasnt very successful unfortunately!

Anyways my report for the day!

I attended the Eurogamer Expo today got in at 11am and went straight to Area C where they were holding Gran Turismo 5 Pods. There were 4 Pods set up running the so called latest build of GT5. This was very questionable to me. There seemed to be quite a few issues with the Build. Alot of the Courses when you first start Racing the Backdrop would just simply disappear this happened multiple times on the Rome & Nurburgring Nord Course. Surprised me and certainly made people criticse the Game immediately. The Eurogamer Staff naturally couldnt respond with much explanation. I asked about which Build this one and they responded with a (Pre Release Code) Slighty alarming. But I knew this couldnt be true. As a few more issues kept happening with GT5 which i'll go into in a little bit.

The Tracks they had on the Demo was the Rome Circuit, Real Madrid Circuit, Nurburgring Nord, Tokyo 246, Toscana I cant remember if there was one more. I tried all of the tracks eventually. This Build as a 2 Minute Time Limit :/. Only a few selection of cars. All Premium Models which suffered all types of Visual Damage, Damage was turned on on the Replays. Cars which were on this build were the Mercedes Benz SLS, Ferrari Enzo, Ferrari 458 Italia, Jeff Gordon 24 DuPont CHEVROLET IMPALA, Lamborghini Gallardo LP-560, Nissan GTR V-Spec, XANAVI-NISMO GT-R, Audi R8 V8, Chevrolet Stingray, Seb Loeb Rally Car, maybe one or two others but I think thats pretty much it!. There is a Single Race mode with Beginner C, Intermediate B, Professional A, & Time Trial Mode.

Eurogamer Staff were holding a Competition and will Continue to run a Competition over tomorrow and Sunday. They split the Competition into Daily Winners/Overall Winner. You had run a Time Trial on the Real Madrid Course in the Mercedes Benz SLS. All Assists on Standard you arnt allowed to edit them. That Means Automatic, No Steering Assist, TCS 5, Driving Line On, S3 Tyres Front & Back, I set a time of 1.26.096, Fastest of the day to my knowledge! Till confirmed by Eurogamer. You get 3 Try's over the day the Overall Winner over all 3 Days wins the Mercedes Benz Driving Experiance. It's definately worth a shot if you can try it tomorrow or Sunday! You cant miss em!

Now to move onto GT5 In 3D! Wow this was an interesting experiance for me. I myself hate this whole 3D Malarky it's amazing technology dont get me wrong it's just way overhyped and it gives me immense headaches or dizzyness. It's not for everyone certainly not for me! This Demo was the exact same build as on the Pods, These 3D Demo's kept crashing during the day. This wasnt just with GT5 though, Motorstorm Apocalypse was doing the same so it may just be hardware failure. This just concerned me with all the Crashing & Disappearing Tracks on GT5 it put off alot of people but it's definately not a final build in my opinion. Anyways they had these 3D GT5 Stand near the Pods which was handy and they had a couple random GT5 Machines dotted around the Hall which was good. Anyways! It's been a good day if your in the area try it out! It'll be the latest time you'll get to try GT5! Hope this doesnt drag on! lol

I'm pretty certain that the Eurogamer build is the E3 build. The fact that you mentioned that disappearing track (something present in the E3 build) is one sign, and I saw a video that showed a lot of sparks when touching cars (another sign of the E3 build).

Yup but the E3 Build didnt show the 'Violent Damage System' present in this build... Yeah alot of sparks were coming off each others cars when they touched. It's a bit of a weird one too be honest....
