Hey you guys I think edub is backing out of this and wants me to talk his place would that be fine or what
To be fair, if someone backed out one of the reseves would take their place. I apologise but that's only fair....
rumor.... 👎
Good to hear
my match is set for the 30th. Other wise i'll be out of town the 1-7 of january.
Got you mate

Don't you hate that crap 👎

Also,

I think Mr Dino has given me the green light to judge this battle, so unless any of you have objections with me judging then give me an add on PSN.

He won everything he competed in, except one loss to his friend SKR-Kaizer. No wonder he is favourite lol. He didn't take place in all VDC events, but the ones he did compete was a victory. He also won H2H Rd 1. There is a stronger competition in VDC then here. So the chance he wins is big.

King B and monserGAUZ are really one of the best I have ever experienced, but Sai is a special drifter.
Everybody has a chance at victory, i have a few drifters that i expect to go far but i like to keep it to myself to avoid adding pressure to anyone. Besides, i'd look really silly if i pointed out a facourite just for them to be upset in round 1.

in no shape or form am i saying he can't win.. But you honestly never know :)
This 👍

Exactly.. That's my point.. MAybe even powell could beat him! lol

Anyone can win a battle at anytime. He seems to be very consistent that's all but it's highly opinionated that VDC events are stronger competition when VDC is more limited (power limits).

Either way I'm upset I didn't see this post in time. I think I need to spend more time in here than on GT5 *eyeroll*. Would love to meet some "competition".

monsterGAUZ
Yeah don't you make little of him, he could beat him by hard with a though lag punch!

Did you not see my speed test results for my upgraded internet. I'm getting 4-5mb now!

Sorry Mr D but that match I was supposed to judge I can't do anymore cause I'll be out with the family, sorry bout that.

It's cool mate, I can cover it for you if nobody else can. I've got a bit of catching up to do 'round here today with moved times etc, so if I haven't fixed something you've told mr about, and it isnt repaired in 4 hours, please say something because by that time it's likely I forgot about it.

Yeah will do, I come back from my holiday on the 2nd or 3rd so I'll try and help you out with judging for a few battles then.

Important Information RE: Judging
I have decided not to go with pre-setting judges as it may lead to confusion and anger if one accidentaly forgets. So i've thought of a different system....

About an hour before a battle is scheduled to begin, i'll post a reminder here to the judges saying that a battle will be starting soon. When a judge see's this message and decides they can do it, they will add both competitors as freinds and message them when the battle room is open.

I'm sure some of you are asking, What if no judges respond? In that case i will open the room and judge. If however I'm also unavailable (and i'll post if this is the case)you'll have to follow the guide below.

While this is extremelly unlikely, it's favourable to know the procedure...
- One of the competitors will open the room
- They will message their opponent, saying that the lounge is open
- They run the room as is normal
- Every battle has a mandatory OMT, this is so incase of an actual OMT the competitors do not need to reschedule and hold the tournament up.
- After the battle the competitors must decide between them who is going to upload the replay (don't bother reading this guide unless you actually have to do it. It can be quite overwhealming)
- That person pastes the link here, a judge will view it in their own time and decide a winner.

EDIT: If you have GTP PM'd me in the past two days to change your time, i apologise but GTP has deleted all my messages :(. So i'll need you to tell me again.

This is way to complicated to me!

Trust me mate, you won't need to worry about it. Just make sure you have a spare spot in your friend list and all will be fine 👍

On a much brighter note, i found a fantastic site that allowed me to make countdown clocks for every battle in about 10 minutes :)
Their all in the OP inside the link listed next to your battle time. This should massively help everybody to know exactly when there battle is happening so they don't miss the time. They could even keep the little pop up open on their homepage as a reminder to practice. :)
I'm just really stoked that i stumbled on such a handy tool that will help so much!

PS: If there's any errors just say so and i'll fix 'em up 👍

Lol I never said no one can defeat him or he will win this event, in fact I even said his friend beat him in a competition in the final. I told why the others think he will win. So I dont get why you people say, that I say that he will win. If FC Barcelona plays you expect them to win, you can compare it with this, but never underestimate your opponent.

Honestly if you ask me who will win I would say someone else. But the fact is that SAi-66 is an excellent drifter and the chance he wins is bigger than I win.

🤬 i slept way too late. Did anyone judge GTDS-PL vs ABIOTIC? Heres a reminder. Next battle starts in 1/2 hour, i need a judge as it looks like i'm going for an un-scheduled holiday... Please judges, i need you guys to organise yourselves for a couple days. Just watch the countdown clocks in the OP and there shouldn't be a problem.

I apologise GTDS & ABIOTIC, I hope despite it all you still ran your battle and had some fun.

Currently watching GTDS-PL vs Abiotic91. No judges showed. unclear on how to upload video and an clarification of judging.

Competitiors will like you presence to judge if possible.

Hey Guys... RedSuns-The8th might not me able to be in the H2H tournament at least not now since he had some family issues to resolve trought this week, i wont be specific since its a personal information and i dont think im allowed to tell exactly what happened.. but yea wanted to inform this situation since he cant.

Understood mate, unfortunately as he didn't turn up to his battle today it is classed as an automatic forfeit. I'm truly sad to here about his issues and wish him, and his family all the best for the future.

I'll have the footage of GTDS-PL vs ABIOTIC up before the next battle. It was a close and great to watch encounter and i'm glad i (just) got to see it before i left.

There was some confusion about the amount of runs that are meant to be ran, the answer is here (from the OP)
After the first run the judge will make a decision based on line, angle, speed and overall style dividing 10 points between the two drivers. In a very close battle, the scores may be 5-5, if a driver crashes and his competitor finishes the run without incident a 10-0 will be awarded. After the 2nd run the same is done but in the event of the scores being equal from the two runs added together (10-10) a “One More Time” will be granted, and the competitors will begin another 2-run head-to-head battle. Multiple “One More Times” may be necessary to determine a winner.

Can I ask, for fear of 101 OMT runs. After 2/3 OMT runs, we do A sudden death where the driver of the last set of runs that won the first run, choose between heads and tails during a coin toss? Sudden death will have the driver which won the coin toss choose if they lead or follow in A 1 run battle for the death?

I have experienced way too many OMT way too often

That's an interesting proposal and a rather brilliant idea 👍. If a judge gets to the point where they know the drivers could stay evenly matched forever (probably after the 3rd OMT reslts in a draw) this could help save alot of time. The coin tss idea is brilliant too 👍

Hey man think you can reschedule my battle???? Something came up & I can't be there on thursday & I really wanna compete, have been getting ready for the battle for a week.

On my way right now guys. Your battle wasn't scheduled for another hour and a half, but seeing as your ready to go...

Team-Orange-00 vs Geti01

Can both drivers add me as i will be able to judge this battle.
