Thanks. I was hoping I'd be able to pick one up as a shiny new desktop background, but they're in the wrong resolution for my laptop.

If you let me know your screen resolution and the image you want for your desktop, I'd be willing to trim and scale the image for your laptop's screen.

I don't know about NASCAR cup cars, but in reality with normal road cars, at speed, the hood opened like that would smash against the windscreen.

Yah, well actually i didnt run any faster since the time limit was almost up so im not sure if it will detach at higher speeds. One thing i noticed is that the damage never showed up on the replay.

It sure is. Based on the description, it seems like it's a trainer for the Ring, both Nordschleife, and the 24H course. Using 2 cars as well, so probably the SLS, and a tuned verison of the SLS. On that note, I want to see the race mod for the SLS!

The hood would be a huge aerodynamic brake. 200 mph wouldn't be possible anymore, I think (even if it hypothetically came off).

Here's what should have happened.



And he never actually hit anything. In GT5, the hood popped up via an impact. In reality, that hood would have crumpled hugely.

Maybe the Lvl.0 events are accessible from jump, where as the others you need to "level up" (rpg style) in order to prove you got what it takes to school with Gordon and Loeb (and possibly Vettel.)

Does anyone have the zip for the latest batch of images (from this TGS)? I would love to have them to add to my Windows 7 GT5 Background collection!
