Top Gear will probably do a segment about this game. But Clarkson might need a pace maker surgery shortly after seeing this.
Interesting how half of the trademark junk is just for ferrari, teensy bit egotistic if they insisted on all that to be in the game.
Ridiculous, but typical for Ferrari.Credits for in-game screenshots or imagery

That's "Alfa 8C".I like the background blur of the Alpha C8. Makes the car look like it's moving fast but really it's not moving at all.
Honestly, no, the game would not be massively different. But, I feel this is more of a matter of principle. These 11 cars do not represent that much time expended by the PD team, but they are still gimmicks intended to increase sales. If you think about it, 3D and head-tracking are also just sales gimmicks intended to sell other Sony products, such as 3D televisions. And those certainly took a lot of valuable time to implement didn't they? Once you start using these things to increase attention and sales, whats to stop you from using more? I just feel that PD is headed down a dangerous road to becoming like some other game makers, where sales are more important than a good product.Their product is already special enough for people like yourselves to not go worrying about how things could have been if they had not designed those 11 "slightly different" cars based on "existing models". Do you really think the game would have been massively different or better if they had not bothered with those ChromeLine and Stealth cars? Do you think the planning of the limited editions and their other physical extras like a book, model car etc. also had any bearing on the quality of the game whatsoever?
Seems to me like the only reason why anybody would bitch and moan about more expensive limited editions is purely because you are jealous that other people will have something you don't, either because you can't afford it or don't want to afford it because you can't justify the extra expense. Grow up people, nobody is forcing you to buy anything, and if those 11 cars all end up as paid/free DLC later on, what do you care? You'll download them I'm sure, at least the free ones, and suddenly they won't be so pointless anymore... Go figure
Have to noticed how nearly all screenshots released by PD are of Premium cars. I think thats very misleading and devious, people who don't know about this premium / standard thing are going to be real angry when they buy it.
Robin.
On the Gran-Turismo official site it explains the difference between Premium and Standard cars and shows picture examples. Its peoples own fault for not doing their own research.
