I would guess it stands for "Team" as it has been mentioned that we'll be able to control more than one B-Spec Bob. And probably we'll be able to have one of them with us. in some races.
I like the Team idea. So when high-lighting a name, a number of combinations of A, B and T could be marked: A or B, AT or BT, but never T alone. It seems to me that your team can consist of both A-spec and/or B-spec drivers, ideal for endurance races. Would be nice. :)

and considering it's on the GT Online menus, it also implies that we'll be able to form teams with friends...probably like clans or something. And I'm sure there will be team races.

What I think sucks is they are bringing back the used car lineup like they did in psp where you have to wait on a certain day to get the cars. I don't like that feature at all. I wonder what the benefits are of doing it like this? Maybe replay value?

Where has anyone hinted at that?

Actually GT4 had the used car lot that changed on a day to day basis as well.
Its just there were more cars to choose from.

No. It changed on a weekly basis and not all cars changed in GT4. With the PSP you have dealerships that appear and switch every day or every week. So you have to wait for who knows how long for your Make to finally appear.

Not only GT4 but GT2 had used cars also.
No one said GT4 was the first to have used cars. He was talking about the cycle.

Maybe that's what the delivery system is for?

But there's already a USED DEALER block on the main screen.

As an avid GT "Car Hunter", I'm okay with this. I don't mind sitting around, sipping a beverage while I scour the lots for certain cars, and if it's not there I tend to just do a few races to get a couple more bucks before I check out the refreshed lots.

^^ Same here, I always felt very satisfied when I was searching through the used car dealers and found that low-mileage jewel at a reasonable price. :D

Also, the Citroen GT Race car looks pure evil, it is one the most badass-looking racing cars ever conceived.

No problem. It's probably not the exact feature you were talking about, but it's probably for the better. Sure it would be nice to practice that one section that trips you up, but what if the line the session started with isn't the line you take. More beneficial to either drive a whole lap or reverse around far enough to set your line.

Ay, that is exactly why I like to take myself back a fair bit from the corner (often past other corners as well), however, when the circuit is a bit sized, I don't want to go all the way around the circuit again because I may forget what I wanted to try differently and then loose the opportunity; wasted time and literally driven m-a-d :irked: :banghead:.

Turning around is an inconvenience, but I'm not going to climb back into the womb over it. ;)

Pay for the car, it gets delivered in a few days?

If I had to guess, I'm betting the delivery truck is used for gifts from online.

My guess is they are cars he has won via events but hasn't bothered to go through the "You've Won a Car" sequence for yet.

same here, i love to just browse for realy cool but totaly useless cars, and then tune them to make em drive better, not full tuning, but just a bit to keep it challenging.

^ Me three. It's nice that some parts of the game can stay hidden for such a long time. I'm not one of those people who wants to just see an exact list of all cars in the game and exactly how to get them.

That's what I do to this day. I just started a new "career" on GT4 yesterday. The PSP system though is terrible. I don't think I could put up with looking at just 4 dealers for a week.

GT5 Latest News and General Discussion Thread

I just recently read it and thought I would talk about it incase everyone didn't know.

Yes, that's where we are now. Where did someone say the GTPSP dealer system is going to be in GT5?

Sorry I thought you were asking why I brought it up.

I am trying to find the link but I read it this morning. arghhh

I believe gtpsp said almost the same thing

Used Car Dealer
Save some credits by buying used. The lineup changes depending on when you visit, so keep coming back to discover rare finds.

This isn't what I read this morning but this is what I found.

Thats used car dealership cycles like in GT4 (and GT2), not like GT PSP's dealership system which doesn't even have a used section.

From the Red Bull trailer.
What's the car in the back? It appears partially for a few frames:

... Hope this doesn't feed the rumor mill.

Wasn't the function of GTPSP's minimalist dealership to give a purpose/motivation to play a game with no actual career mode?

Isn't that because that part of track is already illuminated enough (so the difference is subtle)? The GTbyCitroen going down the straight doesn't look odd for example. All in all, they make a difference, but like the tire smoke\dirt they are "limited".

I actually only saw that vid after posting the above but yeah the Citreon lights are quite illuminating on the Mulsanne.
