Have they dropped the 32 player lobbies?Online Racing Between Friends
In the "My Lounge" set inside the Community, up to 16 friends can gather to hold online races.
... Hope this doesn't feed the rumor mill.
Wasn't the function of GTPSP's minimalist dealership to give a purpose/motivation to play a game with no actual career mode?
What I think sucks is they are bringing back the used car lineup like they did in psp where you have to wait on a certain day to get the cars. I don't like that feature at all. I wonder what the benefits are of doing it like this? Maybe replay value?

*I dont know if the cars would only appear for ONE day, and then would be gone from the game, however, if this is so, I certainly think they should have them on a couple days throughout the game. Giving a chance for players to catch them.
Does anyone know if the Logitech Momo Wheel will work with GT5. I know it works with GT5P, if so I will hold off to get the DFGT.
Thanks
It should work but you never know I remember the Momo wheel had problems with GT4 IIRC. Might be a good idea to upgrade to a DFGT anyway now they're well priced, you will get 900 degree steering.
It's just a cycle on endless repeat, just like GT4, remember the black cars everybody was trying to get?
If you missed them, or any other car, you just had to wait ( or speed up the cycle by buying wheels or race, etc. ) before they eventually popped up again.
he said that PD still working on the engine sounds and it will be implemented only in the finale version of the game.another video for you (sorry my English more)

I like the sound of that !
Ha ha I see what you did there. There is not much time left for sound re-engineering though. The sound will probably only be improved for select cars. The game needs to go gold in about 3 weeks.

We don't know though because they could have been holding on to the good sounds for awhile now and just don't want to release them until the final game as mentioned.
From what it sounds like, one might be able to turn their GT5 game into GT6 via a PSN update, but we'll see. I mean, didn't Kaz say that, for the first time, they WON'T be building the game from the ground up but simply taking what they have done with GT5 and adding more stuff to it. You would think that those updates to the game could be added via updates, but maybe not.We shall see, I guess.

He didn't say "still working on it" but he did say they will deliver better sounds in the final game. And the guys from Gameblog are funny but also professional, always have. Remember the PD tour and the damage/weather statements from year ago?He didn't say they're still working on it, besides that guy looks a bit dopey...
Or Kaz could have just been referring to reusing the newly built game engine itself to make GT6. However, I also do expect that there will be updates for GT5.
I'm sure GT6 will be an independent game but based on what GT5 has started.
I guess it could be anything. But it did sound like that GT5 will be the building blocks for GT6. Basically, taking GT5 and added to it what they want for GT6. Which I would assume would be a lot more Premium Cars, more cars in general, new tracks, better graphics, more features and other things. Still no word on Drag Racing. Although, I'm sure it's technically in with the course creator, but still. I'm sure there is a little too much information in GT6 to change GT5 into it via an update. I would assume GT6 will be on two Blu-rays. So...another 25-33.1 GB of information would take up a chunk of HD space. that said, I'm sure more cars and tracks and things will be added via updates.
most likely it is, though. GT5 is literally the LARGEST game ever made. And MGS4 used up 25GB of space (as the creator mentioned they had to remove stuff from the game to make it fit on the Blu-ray disc.) So, I would assume GT5, being bigger than that, is on dual layers. Then again, it could be on the new 33.1 GB disc, I guess.
