Is it me or does the green Honda NSX Takata car look non-premium to you in the TGS video at 0:51?

Ha ha I see what you did there. There is not much time left for sound re-engineering though. The sound will probably only be improved for select cars. The game needs to go gold in about 3 weeks.

Isn't the game out in 7 weeks not 3?

It's definitely a premium model.

I have a question that I don't know has been mentioned.

Regarding the NASCAR race cars, I know only 16 cars will be on the track at once. However will the game include more than 16 of them to choose from? If so (coming to my main point) will they include any that have beer sponsors? The reason I ask is the EA NASCAR games all changed the beer sponsors to a fictional sponsor to keep their E rating. I notice GT5 still has it's E rating so I am guessing they are just either not going to put those cars in or change the sponsor like EA.

Anyone know about this?

This might be a bit unrelated but I was looking at my past posts and I had posted a Gamestop link January 10,2010 and they had the release date set as November 1st...Just a coincidence?

Well yeah, it was wrong lol. Besides every date has been covered.

I really don't know what track that is.
But I'm sure that it's not from SSR5 or CSR5. I just looked at the map and videos of these and that part is absolutely unknown to me.
Now I'm not familiar with SSR11 so I don't know if that could be a part of it but if it isn't, then we might have a new track here.

most likely it is, though. GT5 is literally the LARGEST game ever made. And MGS4 used up 25GB of space (as the creator mentioned they had to remove stuff from the game to make it fit on the Blu-ray disc.) So, I would assume GT5, being bigger than that, is on dual layers. Then again, it could be on the new 33.1 GB disc, I guess.

MGS 4 was printed 50gb disk.
MGs4 had 9 hours HD video but in game engine. I think GT5 could be single layer disc. Im sure GT6 will be 50gb .It will have more premium cars and more tracks more n more contents

From what I remember, they would not even have Coors Pole on the sides of the cars much less the beer sponsors in the EA games so it appears they could be on the cars as in the E3 trailer last year, you could cleary make out "coors" on the sides of the car. Also with that new License trust, I expect beer sponsored cars easily in the game.

Alright cool. Yeah pretty sure it was the ERBSs call for the beer sponsor thing needing to be changed to keep it at an E rating. Just was wondering about it in the case of GT5. Like maybe the rules have gotten more lax.

Speaking of NASCAR, could Kevin Harvick's #29 possibly make it into the final game? I know we haven't seen all of the NASCAR Stock Cars for the games[we've seen most], and not all of them will be in it, but could the 29 make it before the final release?

only this part from the trailer made me believe this game is ultra realistic

come on guys remember driving on the highway in the night + rain

170km/h at night under hevy rain :) My friend told me that he drives with me for the last time ;)

Are people seriously complaining about the shifting animation?

Really, get a life. This game is past ANY expectations, complaining about something that happens in a split second, and you will only notice it on some premium cars, only in cockpit view.

Somebody PLEASE ban people who complain about an animation. Seriously they dont deserve to play GT. Its not a game about animations, its about driving.

I think the shifting animation is nice. The hand of the wheel tells it's about time to shift so no need keep an eye on the RPM indicator all the time.

Anyone know why the needles on the dials don't appear to be moving despite the car going down through gears and by the looks of it slowing down considerably?

I can't see the needles at all. The white part by the 3 on the tach says "rpm x1000" and the white part by the 100 on the speedo says km/h, but in that gif they look sort of like static needles. They're not, really, but the needles themselves are white as well, so why they're totally invisible in that picture I can't understand.

I wonder if the car will always read km/h or if they changed the dashboard units for different regions, either the car or the game
