Sneaky buggers...and it's a 2010 car, too. Virgin Racing F1.

Now, since that shot has no purpose at the Red Bull campsite (unlike pictures of the Ferrari F1 at McLaren's place), it's got to be at the PD HQ somewhere.

An Virgin F1 car? I hope you guys aren't jumping to conclusions. Remember, Codemasters has the F1 license.

That looks like the Polyphony F1 car...

Wing is too high to be the F1 car. Besides, it says "Virgin" in big white letters on the Rear Wing.

I'm trying not to jump to conclusions... just explain to me what a Virgin F1 car is doing on GT5... or at RedBull?

Its on the TV at Red Bull's headquarters? Or its a F1 2010 picture...which many might be disgusted with if thats the case

African Kat
Is it Virgin Racing though? Can anyone find an image of the real 10' Virgin Racing car?

If it is not GT5 (who knows?) then it has to be F1 2010. Why they would have that on some random TV with Kaz in the building I have no clue... but its not real life. Driver do not sit in the car while its in the team garage. This is not a pit garage, this is a team base garage...

Same location as in the RedBull trailer...

And there we have it? GT5 will feature 2010 F1 cars... just how many now?!

EDIT: Studying the image you posted a little bit closer shows that the car under the cover is NOT a 2010 F1 car. The rear wing in 2010 regulations must match the height of the car (always being the roll over hoop and engine intake). So yeah.

Google it an you'll find out. Virgin designed the car without the use of a wind tunnel but with use of fluid dynamics software I believe. Newey was one of the people who seemed to take notice and he said that tech is 20 years off from replacing wind tunnels. There's what ties the car and Newey together. Thinking any more into it would be pointless.

You're ridiculous. Just stop making rumors out of nothing.

So to you it makes perfect sense that Newey (the man behind the fastest F1 car in the 2010 season) is streaming video of the slowest car in the F1 paddock to his conference rooms to become inspired by the tech they used to make the car... I'm sorry... but what the hell are you talking about?

It's been suggested that the covered car may be the X1, but yeah.

In the new uploads you can make out some text on the pages in front of Vettel:

I can only make out the last couple of lines, can anyone enhance the rest?

Yes it's really looks like a script for Vettel speach ingame. I can read some words on the last part :
"You can tell that this car just keeps on accelarating, right?"

oups not the faster :)

but did you notice on the picture with Kaz and Neway drawing/writing , most of the documents are blured on purpose!

I can read parts of the left column:

- 19: xxxxxxxxxxx if you go.
- 20: [...] forced induction(?) engines [...] a lag after you step on the throttle, xxxxx the engine's power comes on.
(The X1 xxxxxxxx displacement(?) engine and [....] Thus increasing the challenge and xxxxx xxxx of mastering this car).
- 21: Whoa, you've given it too much throttle.
- 22: Notice that the bulk of the power comes after a slight delay, after you step on the throttle pedal.
- 23: You can tell that this car just keeps on accelerating, right?

Blurry, but good find. Looks to be a script?

I think you're right. I'm wondering if Vettel is doing the License commentary, just like Jay Leno for GTPSP.

Except maybe more involved... Like Tiff Needell in Ferrari/Supercar Challenge. Telling you what you're doing wrong, right, etc.

Notice how the bulk of the power ????? ???? a slight delay after you step on the throttle pedal

You can tell that the car just keeps on accelerating right?

It does look like a script, some kind of instruction or test.

This has got me thinking, did Red Bull write the script for Polyphony to create a scenario in the game, or the other way?
