I can only make out:

21. Whoa, you've given it too much something something.

23. You can tell that this car just keeps on accelerating, right?

After that, I got cross-eyed.

22. i think says

"Notice how the bulk(?) of the power ..... .... a slight delay, after you step on the throttle pedal."

I think it´s Vettel´s script from doing the voice in GT5.

EDIT: bloody hell, to slow for this forum :D

I think you're right. I'm wondering if Vettel is doing the License commentary, just like Jay Leno for GTPSP.

Except maybe more involved... Like Tiff Needell in Ferrari/Supercar Challenge. Telling you what you're doing wrong, right, etc.

I think that it might just be for his section of the game or specifically for the X1. We know that they had Sebstian Loeb and Jeff Gordon recording audio also. They both have their own events in the game in the Special Events section. Could Vettel's event be the missing 3rd spot in the Special Events menu?

Oh, duh. Now that I look at it, that seems more plausible, thank you. Still cool, though.

I know this should be on the Car List thread but it's closed so...

Here's the ARTA NSX, sporting a different livery from the car previously seen at CES

Now look at the third car in the shot:

Someone might say its the Garaiya, but the one defining feature that says otherwise is the intake in the engine cover.

Great find with the Epson NSX. I agree with you, it's the one.
However, I don't think the second one is the Arta NSX '08. The roof is too different IMO and I think it's just the ASL Garaiya as you suspected.
I know there is a weird thing on the engine cover but you can't ignore the roof. I browsed pictures of the 2008 Super GT season and found no other car like it.
And no other ARTA car has a white/red/white roof like that.

Anyway, I also have a doubt about the first car in this screenshot :

Could it be the Epson HSV-010 GT ?

It's the closest thing I found for it. It's the only thing I saw with a blueish roof like that. The Epson NSX has a white roof and the Clarion/HIS Kondo GT-R have a grey roof.
I don't want to get your hopes up but I'm just sharing. The HSV is the closest match for now but that doesn't mean anything...

I was looking at that earlier. I noticed that the rear of the car in the GT screen shot has similarities with the 'raised' rear where the lights go across the back below the wing. Notice the rear of the HSV has the light fixtures (in red) across the rear deck. The shape is the same as the screen shot. It could be an HSV, then again it could be an NSX, or maybe a GTR, but I don't know of any GTR's that run that color scheme. But a second look at it, the rear could be obscured by the angle of the picture, meaning that we just see the rear wing! So we'd have to look again! But looking at all the teams that are on the SuperGT webpage, only the Epson team which runs Honda cars has that color scheme. So it has to be the Epson car, whether it's NSX or HSV is the only question.

Speaking of white paint, what car do you guys think is leading the pack in about 1:13 from the TGS 2010 Red Bull Trailer? It looks like a white S2000 with a big rear spoiler.

*edit

Wait, nvm, I think I've seen it before.

Sometimes i scare myself a little when i see some of these attempts to identify cars. It never ceases to amaze me how accurate some of the models are, so much so, that even from a distance they are each very distinct.

Anyone know if the original Mini Cooper will be a premium car or included at all after being removed from GT4?
The Fiat500 needs some competition

The Mini Cooper 1.3i was in GT4. If you had the NTSC-J version, of course :D

Only for the time being. I'm just waiting on the contact from its originator that I requested in the thread.

Nevertheless, this would still be an appropriate place to discuss it even if the master car list thread wasn't currently locked. It is, after all, news and discussion from the latest games show.

Although I, like you, would love a Premium original Mini Cooper it isn't exactly a competitor for the Fiat 500.
Compared to the original 500 ( which is extremely small ) even the original Mini seems large and the Cooper version would simply run rings around it on the track.
Now if they added an Abarth version things might get interesting, otherwise I think a Subaru 360 would be a more direct competitor.:)

Or if PD somehow had a terrible urge to model the 2.3 Diesel Nissan Serena. (0-60... maybe.)

Diesels have come a long way although I wouldn't mind they included a specimen of an old, loud and slow Diesel car to experience but preferably a more interesting choice than a Nissan Serena.......maybe a beige Berlin Taxi anyone?

Are you sure that's not a delivery date to a out of UK address? I don't remember Lisbon being in the UK.

I've still got a release date of 5th. Theres alot of talk of the UK date being delayed, no other countries has talk of delays though.

HMV Ireland(at least my store) has the advertising as Nov 5th, has had it like that for a few weeks now,
Having talked to the stock guy though, he said if its supposed to be released on the 3rd then it will be, hes had no word of delay yet.

Basically, Amazon has ran out of GT5 discs, and everyone who didn't have the presence of mind to pre-order this back in '08 got put on the delayed list.

Maybe I'm joking...

...or maybe Sony still hasn't learned it's lesson; at one stage it couldn't produce PS3's fast enough not that long ago.

I hope the mini cooper will be back, and premium.

I also think the Sachsenring Trabant would be a great competitor for the Fiat 500.

Also GT needs a car with a two stroke engine.

Yep, Lisbon is in Portugal, but that doesn't mean they haven't delayed the Expected Delivery Time! I was expecting to get it on 6th November (since MRW is just nearby and I'm used to pick my things on Saturdays ;-)), and now it seems like I'll have to wait for the 8th November...
Well, not as bad as previous delays :-D

Yes I just got it. However, I will cancel my amazon pre-order as I rather want to buy it in my home country so I can't get it November 3rd.
So, how can you do that?

Future Shop in Montreal told me the 4th...
Hope you guys (or your stores) are right...

My order is from July'10, maybe you're right... But I really hope not!:ill:

I'm from Germany and on amazon.de the official release date (November 3rd) has never even been mentioned. It still says "Sign up here to receive a notification via E-Mail when the article becomes available". I don't like this...

Just because amazon is too lazy to change it ;) Don't worry.
Kommt schon rechtzeitig raus... ;)
@ZoidFile: omg, I'd LOVE to have a Trabbi in the game. That would be so great... :) Almost every manufactor is in the game, why not Trabant/Wartburg? :)

This is getting more painful reading all the articles on the news section on gtplanet since my PS3 got YLOD 46 days away from GT5 release date, so it looks like i will be missing out playing GT5 until at least the end of november.

So guys, injoy GT5 & i hope i can play it ASAP
