I can see it now.................

PD are going to release all those wee cars as collectable special edition models..........the world will get the collection bug, a bit like Pokemon.........the models in the signature edition will be extra extra rare..........they'll sell on ebay for a fortune.........some sad person will have them all.

I'm putting my money on Famine finding any job going for cash and collecting them all.

I'm also going to guess someone in this forum with too much money will pay something stupid for part collections, manage to catch them all, and we will all be soo very jealous.

WE LOVE CARS TV Commercial.

Did not spot any Porsches, maybe these ARE cars used in GT5 (maybe)''

I did see a 80s-90s DTM Mercedes anda 599 race car(or what looked like a race car) an Escort MKII and a 64-65 Ford Mustang.

Alot of the cars have uniform white circular number plates on them...

That commercial is soooo accurate! There must have been at least two identical Mercedes and two blue Evo's. Exactly like GT :sly:

Obviously one must have been last years model with 5 bhp less.

Can anyone translate?

No way! Cool commercial
I bet they did it to encourage kids ($$$) to buy GT5.

That was eh disturbing I can't get the song out of my head Dang whats with the happy bunch.:dopey:
Hey it can't be more disturbing than Greenawalt at E3 2009 ("at Turn 10 we love cars...")

I made a quick translation but it's surely worse than what SCEE/SCEA can come up with. Please understand that it might not be completely accurate. It's supposed to be some kind of poetic/marketspeak composition. Again, don't quote this all over the net and cite me as it surely contains errors.

In our childhood we played a lot with mini cars. There were cars we would have driven someday.
Even now, cars are not just a tool. We want to enjoy them more and more.
So, we will say it again now ---- WE LOVE CARS.
This fall, Gran Turismo (GT)
will make true everybody's "car love" and start an expanding motion.
The requirements for partecipation are only one: to love cars.
Even supercar owners or economy car owners. Even people who work with cars or people who make cars.
WE LOVE CARS. Let's put a sticker and go outside.
By gathering together, we will surely become a large voice. We'll have even more fun.

WE LOVE CARS. ---- That's also the spirit of "GT".
We can drive over different existing cars. From the Nurburgring to the national highway 246,
we can run on world's real roads to our heart's content. As we love cars, we can have fun to our heart's content.
Year 2010. "Gran Turismo 5" will expand the world of "GT" even more.
From the enjoyment of driving to the enjoyment of directing and raising a team.
Everybody will progress toward a game that will allow to play with cars.

"GT" always believes that cars are the best vehicles that make our hearts have a good time.

Cars you can play with [GT5 logo]

Appreciation.👍

I now feel all warm and fuzzy.

[off-topic] When you were a child, what was your favourite toy car? I loved my rs200.

My point is that if you mirror the real picture you will notice the car, drivers hand etc. are in the same angle on both pics.

Sorry but nop. It is a similar angle but it ins't the same. If you pay atention to the spoiler, in the real pic the word virgin is under the "T" and in the Kaz pic is behind it, and there is no hand in the Kaz pic.

I still have that exact model. I got it when I was ten and it's still in my PC room to this very day.

Think I also saw an Escort Mk2 ( white one ) but I did also see an orange BMW X6 on the right side and a lightblue Volvo P1800 ( and a lot of Japanese cars including several Mitsubishi Starion's at the beginning ).

It made the best getaway car for cops & robbers, it fit perfectly into back of one of my artic-lorries, could then hide from the police Sierra. I believe i got the idea from Smokey & The Bandit.

Those were the days. :)

Thanks ;) i get the idea... and i really like that type of philosophy... GT5 is a way of life 👍

I want to put that sticker on the back of my car now!
:dunce:

Is the F1 car and garage behind Misters Newey and Kaz real or C.G.I. I would expect an F1 area to be clean, but that place is devoid of any sign of humanity. The wheels are also on the car?

Seriously. They're called angles. The pictures are taken from two different angles.
