Nice argument there! 👍

There's nothing to argue with.
You said it was the same picture mirrored, which you're back peddling on now, after everyone showed you they aren't the same. So again, there's nothing to argue. Nothing in those pictures is the same.
Oh, imagine watching an F1 race then, then think how many hundreds of times a driver has his hands in that exact position as the above pictures.

No 599 race car, rather the ferrari 599 panamerica car:

Nice catch, looks like this car to me too - I wonder if it is going to be separate car in car count or only some special painting ? (could Gt5 be even worse than GT4 in duplicating cars ? ...)

That "Car Commercial"....sweet. I got my Corvette Z06, Ford GT, and BMW M5 on my shelf. Time to dust them off....

On a side note, what if the X1 Prototype was there and in completely plain sight? It would have been a huge blunder!

As long as duplicates don't take away the place/time for adding completely new cars, I'm ok with them.
I'm confident that new paintjobs or small specification changes, even on a Premium car, won't take away much time compared to making a new car from scratch, anyway.

There would have to be a diecast X1 made first, and I don't see them risking that.

You don't think the car and drivers hand are in the same angle? I'd like to point out that I didn't say anything about them being exactly the same pictures.

Yes, yes you did. You said mirror it, which means same picture just flipped. It's pretty easy to tell that they're no where near identical. More of the hand showing on the TV behind Kaz, two winglet things on the air box, not to mention the Virgin on the rear wing.

Edit: Annnnnd I got beat to it by just about everyone, curse my slow typing.

New TGS video :)

Uh....isn't that the gamescom build they installed at TGS before switching to the newest one with Eiger on rain, La Sarthe at night, GtbyCitroen race car etc...?

10000 rpm?
In another screen you could see a script for Vettel where he mentions that the X1 has got a small displacement turbocharged engine.

Future F1 regulations will require 4 cylinder turbocharged 1.6 liter engines limited to 10000 rpm.
I'm now almost sure that something like that will be the engine of the Red Bull X-1 Prototype.

- 18: Try not to xxxxxx the tires.
- 19: xxxxxxxxxxx the tires if you go.
- 20: On forced in. turbo engines xxxxxx xxxxx there's a bit of a lag after you step on the throttle, xxxxx the engine's power comes on.
(The X1's small displacement engine and high pressure turbo makes throttle control quite touchy thus increasing the challenge and xxxxx xxxx of mastering the car).
- 21: Whoa, you've given it too much throttle.
- 22: Notice that the bulk of the power comes after a slight delay, after you step on the throttle pedal.
- 23: You can tell that this car just keeps on accelerating, right?
