I was about to point out the plethora of Starions. I really hope the standard model Starions make it into the game and not just the flat nosed rally car. I almost bought a 360 and F3 to play the Starion but they still haven't released the Jalopnik classics car pack announced in March.Think I also saw an Escort Mk2 ( white one ) but I did also see an orange BMW X6 on the right side and a lightblue Volvo P1800 ( and a lot of Japanese cars including several Mitsubishi Starion's at the beginning ).
You just might be quicker on the ZR1 with traction control on than off ...

Not sure why you posted that here but .7s can be due to many things. Not knowing how many laps he ran with it on or off and if he ran it before or after the system was off. Let him do 20 laps with it on and the spread would be more than .7s.
Again, not sure what it has to do with the game.
maybe cuz the zr1 is in the game? and he's just stating it might be better to leave TC on in game because of the vid. And this seems to be the "general thread".

Is that a C63 AMG in the 4th picture?
I'm sure it was deciphered when those pics came out, but what track are the grandstands from on the 3rd to last pic?
Tsukuba.
I'm guessing that confirms the C63 AMG. Can't wait to drive it!
The game's weather system is also auto-generated (on endurance-based and custom tracks only) based on a trio of interacting factors: humidity, temperature and pressure. The combination of those three elements can result in fog, rain, snow or a clear day. Yamauchi said the team cannot even impose specific weather conditions on a particular race but merely suggest them by creating cloudy weather, for example. From there, the system takes over to create weather on the fly.

Anyone check out the IGN article, the cover weather conditions and says that the PD team can not actually specify the weather, only cloudy conditions and the system determines whether or not it will be raining (I assume through temperature and humidity) so maybe it will fog, maybe it will rain and who knows how long it will rain for.
I knew this was the case, what with non accurate forcasts and what not, for endurance races, but its interesting that they can't even force it to do what they want it to.

Hmmm. I'm imaging we'll still be able to force a specific weather condition for time trials, or most things leaderboard related. I do understand that it's more realistic to allow any weather conditions (like, for example, look at the constant real-life arguments about 'Ring times), but this is a video game. I don't want to have to hope for the perfect conditions just to have a good chance at making my mark on the leaderboards.
