It's a premium car! It has an interior >.> haha

Did we actually hear anything about replays as in TGS we saw that you can view the full list of positions in a list while viewing the replay so they definatley worked on it,I want synced replays with custom music and slow motion .

It's only for Belgium. You sign up on Mercedes site you answer some easy questions and a subsidiary one, and if your answers are correct, you are selected (like me :D) to the next step of the contest wich consists in 2 laps with the SLS AMG on a track. If you are fast enough you may win: a PS3 with a logitech wheel and GT5. A trip to Mercedes-Benz House and dinner. A citytrip to Madrid as exclusive customer from Belgium, acces to the private Gala of GT5 launch, and last but not least transfer to the airport in the SLS AMG driven by a DTM driver. Lucky Belgian we are :D

Get driven in? I rather they give me the car and I drive myself down there, granted there's a DTM chauffeuring you to but it's not like he's going to be doing any crazy stunt driving on the way there. Maybe it's Ralf Schumacher O.O all my question would be focused on his brother hahhah

If I'm of the party in Madrid of course you'll get thousands of photographs.:sly:

I'll ask the winner if I'm not able to be the one

Dank U wel! It's not the real deal but It will be on GT5 which is already awesome. We are only 200 to be selected and I'm training on the Nürburgring like a hell so I have some hopes.

Haha LMAO, that premiere if I'm right is a party held each time a new GT is about to be released, take a look at GT4's party
Our local Merc dealer in Eindhoven (soon to be the capital of the Low Lands) has a SLS AMG GT5 setup. I'd love to guide you to victory. Do make us proud. :)

Hey guys ! Since GT5 have many trailers out till now...
I decided to make a trailers compilation montage
with most of all trailers scenes including the very last
tgs redbull 2010 ! it was recently put out of youtube
i dont know why but i managed to find it ! all scenes
are HD 720p and it has been made with the popular
gt2 us intro song the cardigans - my favourite game !
... so its a good wrap of all hd gt5 scenes to date
hope you will enjoy it !!! D

Just an observation, but it's a little unusual to have both the Custom parts AND Racing Modifications. (I think Auto Modelista had something similar) So, we can make our cars look like the "Tuned" versions from GT5P or turn them into full fledged race cars like the Citroen GT Race Car. Pretty Sweet!

If this is indeed the case, and it's looking like a strong possibility, GT5 will rarely leave my PS3.

Depending on the number cars can actually go through Body Mods and Race Modifications (which IMO is a majority of Premiums and some Standards), I will have 2 of several dozen individual cars.

I can't wait!!

And the last video with the song of The Cardigans... so good memories.
It remenber me of GT2 at my house playing with my incredible Dual Schock (Ohhhhhh it rumbles !1!)

Don't think it's that unusual depending on how it's implemented, the race mod is probably an entirely different car ( in the same way a touring car has almost nothing in common with the car it resembles ) which is modified to an extend which can't be equalled by just adding a bodykit, etc.

This has been mentioned before but the interior of those ( Premium ) race-mods could also be completely different, stripped and fitted with rollcages ( and possibly new instrument panels, seats, steering wheels, etc. ) whilst the tuned cars will have the same interior as it came with.

You could indeed end up with multiple variations based on the same car, for example a "sleeper" with only mechanical tuning ( yes tuning is mechanical but you know what I mean ), a customized version with bodykit and custom painted wheels and body, etc. and a race-mod which in essence will probably be a different car ( both appearance and performance but also the way it's modelled ).
Or perhaps all sorts of other combinations, pretty sweet indeed.:)

About GT5 leaving the PS3, I think my PS3 will be always on from Nov 3rd on. If I'm not playing, B Spec Bob will take the wheel and I'll be monitoring his progress from work with the new web interface.

I can also relate to the dual shock nostalgia, it is far better than the 6 axis, except for the cable. But if you can live with it, there are adapters you can buy (I have one) that allow you to use the vibrating and much more sensitive (or so it seems) progressive buttons. When I'm not using the G25, I always use the DS+adapter instead of the 6 axis for GT5.

And the Cardigans song... Oh, the memories :) Great tune.

You all do know that the new controllers are Dual Shocks, right? The only reason why they weren't to begin with was because vibration was interfering with the motion sensor. But Sony fixed it and released the Dual Shock 3...that's wireless.

Although, they need to improve the battery life a bit. It's very short for some reason.

Don't expect to find out the full car list until the game is released. GameStop has the official Strategy Guide listed as coming out on the 2nd of November. I'm sure it'll have the full car list, but we won't see it until we get our hands on the game.

I don't understand why everybody loves the moon over the castle thing. I really don't find it interesting, there is no climax to it. Just music drooling on imo.

I just found this...

I can tell everyone's buzzing with anticipation after seeing the first screenshots of Vision GT, but folks, let's calm down a bit. Sony has not even announced when the PS3 is out, and GT5 is still a speck on the horizon... with Polyphony Digital's release strategy, it's most likely not out until at least 2007 or 2008.

Oh god, if only he knew!

Is there any news about Koenigsegg beeing in the game? a shame if its isnt really, especially since top gear is so present in the game and the ccx is among the fastes around the track.

I thought it was because they were being sued? :odd:

The layout is definitely different, just compare this
autumn_ring_165x168.gif

with this(on the bottom right of the screen)
Photo

Autumn Ring Mini! ;)

EDIT: It's occurred to me you may not have meant the (extreme) bottom right. The two to its left are similar to Autumn Ring, but I assumed they were Roma, initially, since the logo is similar. They don't look the same as Rome either, unless it's a new layout...
