I wonder if reviewers will be allowed to write about tracks and cars, listing them, etc.
I would think that there will be a very stiff NDA in place to prevent anything that PD hasn't discussed from being disclosed.

It's not really that soon. Magazines are going to need the review code for their November issue. It should be noted that a review code and finished code are different though.
Wow. That's quite early.
People do get GT5 copies early from the Subway Competition though. So I guess now is about the time things start getting wrapped up.
I hope not! I don't want to be spoiled. Bad enough i have to risk death to get my copy at midnight on bonfire night.
lol, Yup a couple of users should be getting it early. I don't mind though.

Quick question: How do review sites test the online component? Do they have a private server to play against other review sites?
Thinking about it, with the delay in the uk, I'll probably be begging people to give me details with the 2 day wait.

Don't get me wrong, I'm quite sure GT5 will sell. A lot. I just think it would sell even more if it had a demo. It only makes sence, as far as I can tell.
And we would get to taste it a couple of weeks before the release
In like two weeks I'm thinking of making an media black out, to stay spoiler free. It will be pretty damn hard

By the way, Hi to everybody! This is a great forum! All the speculating and digging for bits of info makes reading this like watching an indiana jones film
I believe Sony and PD have studied very thoroughly which is going bring more income to them, to offer or not to offer a demo for the public. If they have decided not to offer a demo, my guess for the reason is this: There are a lot of those people who are not as hardcore fans of the series than most of us, but they do have a ps3 and they do like cars very much. For some of these people the hype around the new game works effectively. They have heard of it a lot, they think they'd most probably like it, and they'd really want to try it. When there is a demo available in psn store, of course they'll download it and have a blast. Now their curiosity has been satisfied, and they'll may never end up buying the game itself. The demo did the job already. On the other hand, if there wasn't a demo available, the only way to get hands on it would be buying the game, and so many would do when seeing it on a shelf in a shop. So, if the number of those people who end up not buying because they already had the demo, is larger than the number of people who won't buy the game because they would want to test it with a demo first, there would be no sense in releasing a demo. That's my reasoning and as I stated, this is just a GUESS.

I think the hype is on it´s maximum and even if they annoy us with it, they do a great job to offer very less content of the game... I really can´t wait to get the game... And I really hope for Sony/PD that it will be the most selling game on the PS3 because 6 years of work is really crazy... They gave their best, even though people are still crying about little details like 2D trees and 2D crowd...
