At launch? Did Kaz say this or are you assuming? If Kaz said it, that'll be one awesome download.

You're asking if I'm assuming, then assuming there's going to be DLC?

:) Can this be assumed as confirmation that there will be in fact downloads of cars in the future?

There is no reason to infer DLC.

Kazunori said it's a car he's very interested in but they haven't modelled for the launch of GT5. I told him that I knew where there was one he could have access to - he'd just need to ask me and I'd arrange it, and I could throw in a Honda Accord Type-R and a Mazda MX-3 V6 for him too.

Since there has been no word at all regarding possible DLC it isn't safe to assume there either will or won't be DLC. Just that what we get on launch day won't include the Atom.

Famine, did you already uncover that "special" car you were asked to remain silent about some months ago? I may have missed it, or are you still not allowed to talk about it?

Gamespot did a tour of PD back when Prologue was coming out and they got a shot of PD's car manufacturer rack and Ariel was on it. So hopefully we'll see the Atom down the line.

Oh, and to clear up the mystery from a couple of months back, the car I was told Aston had been asked to supply was the class-winning 2007/8 Le Mans GT1 entry 009 Aston Martin DBR9.

No worries, I had trouble finding it, too.

Ok. It's not a confirmation whatsoever but that possibility isn't excluded, if I understand correctly.

Yes he did, it was the Aston Martin DBR9.

Edit: Sorry, Michael beat me on that one.

Yes. Unfortunately we didn't get the chance to ask all that we'd have liked in the interview or we would have included a question about DLC. As it is, it's one of those things that is neither confirmed in nor out right now.

Then again, LAN/Triple monitor is "probably" and livery editor is "probably not", so we're not looking at massively confirmatory statements anyway

I never knew that. Did GT4 have Lemans races with a GT field and LMP field? I suspect not due to the low number of cars per race. I hope we get 8 LMPs and 8 GTs for Lemans races in GT5.

Just found it, pretty good video AND sound (!!!) quality

I don't think it's direct feed but still worth watching :D
Hopefully wasn't posted already.

I second that. Hopefully the Le Mans races will be more exciting in GT5. Not that they weren't exciting enough in GT4:sly:.

If we arranged a petition (that sounds so aggressive, but more of a request) that includes the names, e-mail addresses and PSN ID's of a good number of GTP members it would prove to PD that there is a market for DLC, and I'm pretty sure that if they see a market, then they see profit, and there is no reason for them not to do it.

We have seen recently that PD is a company that is willing to listen to its customers and answer their questions (however vaguely), and so I think that if we prove to them there is a viable market, then they would seriously consider car packs.

I think there are a good few thousand people on PSN who would purchase cars at 99p each or something similar. Packs of 10 cars for £5.00 or something as deals.

As long as their licence isn't or won't be exclusive in any way I'm ok with that too.
Competition brings better games.

Lets hope Micro$oft doesn't wave a big bag of money infront of the Top Gear producers to make it a xbox exclusive for the future.
So we can enjoy it in GT6, GT7 and so on.

They have to if they want to reach GT's level, but it's a pretty desperate move from Turn 10. I'm really looking forward to hearing from Dan Greenawalt after GT5's launch, but I'm afraid that won't happen - officialy of course. And if, the only thing he'll say is "We could have done that too if we would have taken 5 years"

I wonder how many people will be buying the collectors edition because of Top Gear?

Indeed. I can see him saying that very thing.:ouch:

I don't mind the track appearing in Forza 4, why would anyone mind that? I'd just want it to not be exclusive to Forza 4.

That's what I don't wont to happen, but it seems unlikely that it will. Its just I'm fed up of Microsoft always jumping onto someone else' idea.

If sony have learnt anything from M$ in the past, they should have written something in the GT5 license agreement that states the BBC cannot make any exclusive deals with other companies.

If there was an exclusive agreement then that would've been made clear in the press release. A 90 minute montage of TG clips is the only thing mentioned as exclusive in the press release.

notice the first video of the ferrari 456, The driver knows what he is doing, so many videos we have seen people driving poorly, and it ever worried me that the physics were almost too difficult to drive. But now im relieved. This shows if you take care while driving the rewards are there! AGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH CANT WAIT FOR THIS GAME, ant btw the graphics are almost real!
